What kind of loaded language is used by CFCMI? I am farmilliar with some terms. This might help us to understand how they 'interpret' their faith, Bible and some of the mind control that goes on there.

"Well done good and faithful servant" (comes from Matthew 25. Parable of the Talents) The way CFC uses it makes me think that they think they can work their way to heaven. As far as I know we are not saved by Works Alone. They may take it to mean working for pastors is the only way to heaven.
IMO CFC does not make good use of the talents of anyone in their church. They need to give them freedom for this to happen. "bad attitude" someone who is finally seeing through all the sin and double standards and has the courage to think for himself. 'fellowship" associating, hanging out with others in the group, loitering, waiting for orders from the CO. (For most Chrstians it means socializing) Can anyone come up with some more?

"Coming Together Moving Up" This one is way too obvious. I almost missed it. This means, "Numbers are dwindling. Money is drying up. LRD ruined our reputation in Waukegan".
In short it is CFC speak for 'cut and run'. Consolidation is always the sign of an organization in financial trouble.

"A Mission that Matters" meaning: we like to pray on cute, lonely, young sailors who are devoid of friends and any meaningful life.
I'm sure LRD and other ministers in CFCMI thought the sailors were cute and really appreciated their paychecks, free labor, et cetera, et cetera. I feel sorry for anyone who gets suckered in now. A sad fact is that those entering the military now would have been in grade school when the LRD trial was taking place in Lake County, IL. They are truly blind to what they are getting themselves into. Remember Wilson now lives in Norfolk. I wonder if he has 'gotten' any new members recently.

Fellowship while we work--seems to be a sort of mantra in CFCMI. Simply put it is hanging around waiting for orders which those in boot camp seem well practiced in. It means chores and lots of them. Hard, back breaking, slave labor at times. Working together is as important a being together to CFCMI.
Fellowshipping with outsiders is strictly prohibited. Being like minded is seen as a virtue in CFCMI. Fellowship should revolve around scripture and our shared relationship with Jesus. It should be more cordial, more recreational, sharing a meal or a conversation. It should include those from other faith traditions and those with different ideas than our own at times.

A New CFCism from Ed Thomas...the same man who also called children "satanic distractions"!
Lame Puppy Ed Thomas (from the Pillars website): "Church has become such a lame puppy. It's a dog that can't hunt. What good is a hunting dog that can't hunt? It poops in the house, eats your food, and doesn't listen to what you say. It's no good." Ed seems to be overly critical of the mess he made of CFCMI. At one time CFCMI at least appeared to be yielding a lot of fruit. On the surface, it looked pretty good. Now, it has been revealed for what it really is: nice on the surface but rotten on the inside. Matthew 7:16-19 - [16]Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? [17] Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. [18] A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. [19] Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. The irony of all this is that Ed himself used to preach about being good fruit inspectors. As many of us grew in the faith and became a more integral part of of the CFCMI inner circle, we realized much of what we learned in the Bible did not jive with what went on behind closed doors. We saw the lies, corruption, and hidden sin. We knew what was wrong and went to those in charge to get the problem fixed - to no avail. That is why many of us walked out. When a dog goes lame, we take that poor mutt to the veteranarian to try and nurse him to health. We take the dog to obedience classes to learn to listen to the owner. Jesus does the same thing: Luke 13:6-9 - [6] He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. [7] Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? [8] And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: [9] And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. God will allow a space of time for people to repent and get their act together. However, as shown in this parable, that space is finite. How so? Genesis 6:3 - And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. As in the days of Noah, it is the same now. God will eventually require an accounting of not just people, but organizations for the works they did, whether they be good or evil. CFCMI has been given an unbelievable amount of space to repent; however, that time may be drawing quickly to a close as we see continued declines in attendance, new converts, and everything else. The leaders practically worship their fallen founder, who lived a life of secret sin that ruined all that was in the CFCMI structure from the foundation up. How does all this tie in to the lame dog? Well, where I grew up, if it never got better, we put the old dog to sleep. |

Hey, i just watched that valour college video, and i have to admit it's one of the creepiest damn things i've seen in a few years, and that includes seeing "the grudge", and that creepy spider walking kid with the black eyes.
Old smiley face Paine looked like something in a creepy anime' cartoon. Did I mention how creepy Paine looked? Don't tell me they got a monument. They Have a monument? |

I think the only monument they have is the one over LR's rotting corpse.
Is that the one you're referring to? |

Oh, yeah---
The reason why Paine looks so creepy is because his "enthusiasm" is manufactured. His face looks like plastic, and his smile has a false, "painted-on" quality. And that is precisely why kids are afraid of clowns. |

Wanna see something really creepy? Watch "No Country for Old Men." Graphic scenes about a homicidal psychopath. (that LIKES tormenting people, as most of them do. LR's preferred M.O. was homosexual seduction.) Here's an LR quote: "Can I get you in the tail?" (Inspiring, isn't it?") Yes, CFC does have a monument---a crumbling Boyz Club.
