Default New Duggan Inquest Opens June 22

According to the Ham&High local newspaper in Golders Green, London, the new Duggan inquest starts next Tuesday. And that's not all.....

In the article below, the emphasis is mine.

Second inquest into the death of Jeremiah Duggan to open next week

17 June 2010

A GOLDERS GREEN mother's quest to find out the truth surrounding her son's death is set to take a giant leap forward.

Erica Duggan will take her seat at Barnet Coroners' Court on Tuesday when the second inquest into the death of her son Jeremiah will formally open.

The body of the 22-year-old student was found on a motorway near the German city of Wiesbaden in March 2003. German police investigating the death said he had thrown himself into the oncoming traffic and dismissed it as suicide.

Last month a High Court Judge agreed to quash the findings of the first inquest and order a new one to investigate whether any 'foul play' had been involved in his death.

Jeremiah was in Germany to attend a conference hosted by the LaRouche organisation. The Ham&High understands the group headed by American radical Lyndon LaRouche has applied to be an 'interested party' at the inquest.

The inquest is expected to be adjourned while further investigations take place.

See Ham&High letters for Erica Duggan's thoughts on the upcoming inquest.

Note well: the LaRouche organization is seeking to be made an "interested party" at the inquest. That means access to all evidence, access to all witness lists, all interviews.

Doesn't that strike you as rather odd, if the Duggan case is really a big political vendetta against LaRouche by Tony Blair and the Queen?

It seems to me, as I have argued before in these posts, that if the LaRouche organization doesn't know anything about Jeremiah's death and has nothing to say about it, and had nothing to do with it, then the LaRouche organization would have let the inquest go forward without a murmur.

It would have allowed its members to talk freely to Erica and Hugo Duggan, to the press, to each other.

If they had nothing to do with it, they have nothing to hide.

If they had nothing to do with it, they have no need, nor would they have any desire, to be made "interested parties."

The only possible reason for the organization to want to be an "interested party" in this inquest--in a situation where no one is charged, no criminal case is afoot--the only possible reason is to find out what the other side has "got" on them, to move potential witnesses out of the reach of being compelled to testify--

We all DO remember the Boston case, do we not? Do we remember Mike Gelber, Chuck Park, and Rick Sanders? Subpoenaed to appear before the Boston grand jury on the little matter of credit card fraud, and the next thing you know, they were NOWHERE TO BE FOUND?

And no one saw them again for five years or more--when all of a sudden they showed up in the United States again, pleaded guilty, and did a little time?

Can you say "obstruction of justice"? Or "conspiracy to obstruct justice"? Because we all remember, do we not, that that was at the core of the Boston case?

So, in sum, I find this fascinating. Lyndon LaRouche suddenly becomes "interested" in the Jeremiah Duggan case--after years of invoking Blair and the Queen and the David Kelly case and Baroness This and Baroness That--oh, and Lynne Cheney and Dick Cheney....

Who knows how many potential witnesses in this case will suddenly be NOWHERE TO BE FOUND?

From the standpoint of pathological psychology, the most extraordinary thing about Lyn and his rants about "Jeremy" Duggan and his smoke-blowing obfuscatory conspiracy-laden nonsense, is his utter incapacity to understand that it's not Tony Blair, and it's not the Queen, and it's not Lynne Cheney, who's behind all this. It's two parents who love their son and want to know what happened to tear him from them.

LaRouche is not capable of caring enough about another person to go through what the Duggans have gone through. LaRouche therefore assumes that the center of the case is HE, LYNDON LAROUCHE. It is unimaginable to him that "Jeremy" Duggan--he wants to show you how insignificant Jeremiah is by refusing to give him even his name--unimaginable that "Jeremy" Duggan could be more important to people than HE, LYNDON LAROUCHE, is.

Therefore, he steals from Jeremiah even his death, by insisting that this case is not about Jeremiah's death, it's about Lyn's balderdash about Blair, the Iraq war, and the Kelly case.

There are diagnoses for this in abnormal psychology, but I'll offer this one: Cruel, cold-hearted, and endlessly self-involved.
