Cashill = LaRouche said...

Tony the number of books written by a person is certainly not a measure of their intelligence or sanity. Take for example, Lyndon H. LaRouche who has penned somewhere around 16 books, but he is a convicted felon and certifiable mad-man. I think of Jack Cashill as the same sort of author and political-thinker.

Agreed. In my opinion The Max is at his most polished on Russian TV.
I do wonder who could be financing Lyndon LaRouche. He also has outstanding presentations. Though he has his own name on his TV.
LaRouche is worth anybody’s time, and my small donation.

It’s really sad that my #1 source for news is Russia Today……i can’t watch CNN, CNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC news without turning it off in disgust….and don’t even get me started on Fox….

To me (no teabagger mind you), the scary thing about "Yes we can" is not so much in what it says as in what it doesn't say. "Yes we can" ...do what? It could be anyone's slogan. Huckabee, Kucinich, LaRouche, Keyes, you name it. Bush could have run on it. It is about as vacuous as it can get, symptomatic of the focus on personality and emotions over policy that pervades American politics (hi, Sarah!)

fn1. Mostly indirectly, because of LaRouche’s insistence on implicating the British Royal Family in the alleged genocidal plots of scientists, environmentalists, and the Left. If he would only drop this stuff, he could be the new Matt Drudge or Glenn Reynolds.

Salt Lake City , Jack Stonewell,

Several local organizers put together an emergency meeting today to discuss the LaRouche Plan. Held at the Main Library, the meeting included a strategic overview by Western States LPAC spokesman, Harley Schlanger, who called in from Houston. In his report, Harley stressed the new LPAC Congressional campaign strategy as a weapon to force debate on the national purpose for the nation, rejecting the British-inspired Obama agenda and populism. Lonnie Wolfe handled a lively discussion session by phone from Leesburg, which many aspects of the LaRouche Plan, including the difference between monetarism and the American System of credit.

To build for the meeting, the contact list was divided up and called, announcements were e-mailed to over 140 contacts, and the meeting was announced on Stockwell’s radio show. Despite the rapid organization and the severely cold and snowy weather, 15 people showed up.

The high level of the questions and discussion reflected the seriousness of our current state of emergency. The majority present endorsed a Resolution in support for the LaRouche Plan and the Four-Power Agreement, and vowed to continue with active organizing into the new year—including forcing local elected officials and future candidates to respond to the LaRouche Plan immediately.

There you go again, lumping a good person like Morano in with the likes of LaRouche, just because he does not agree with your belief system. Is there nothing you won't do or say to people to further your twist of the truth?

Marshall and her customers were making too much sense, so I left the diner and walked across the green and found a couple of earnest, young supporters of Lyndon LaRouche setting up a table outside the post office. They had a poster depicting President Obama with a Hitler mustache.

One of the LaRouchites was a woman who introduced herself as Milena. She had a pamphlet denouncing George Soros, the billionaire backer of left-wing causes.

“Did you know that George Soros is a British agent?’’ she asked.

I had to confess, it was news to me. [...]

Mr. Cullen, this column is shameful. Congratulations, you have just beaten Adrian Walker for the award of lightweight of the week. But, who needs to push when you are a job for lifer at the Shrinking Globe.

So I come away not enlightened or informed. And Taunton gets painted as a town of diner layabouts without a shred of political correctnes and some shrill LaRouchees. Is that all you see?

AND FINALLY...

Just spoke to Ryan Langerhans down in southern Texas, where he's off with some buddies on a white-tailed deer hunting trip. Langerhans joked that his hunting party included "some potential Mariners.''

One of them? Adam LaRoche.

I could hear LaRoche saying something to Langerhans in the background.

"He says we're a package deal,'' Langerhans said with a laugh.

Anyhow, LaRoche didn't intervene to deny the Mariners are talking to him.

LaRoche makes sense for the Mariners to be looking at, since the lefty-swinging free agent first baseman posted an .843 OPS last season, along with 25 home runs. He had a .901 OPS versus righties and .701 against lefties, which is a much bigger split than Russell Branyan brought to the table -- so there would be some concern there about full-time first base ability. But at age 30, he's younger than Branyan and possibly more durable. And his three-year splits vs. lefties/righties are .856 to .756, so that's more balanced if he can come closer to it.
