Hello Bros & Sisters, geetings from NYC. I get more enlightened every time I check your messages about the Foundation. In Israel, two years ago, I had the greatest revelation I ever had when I awoke from a coma - a suicide bomber blew himself up two-feet away from me. God is not a monster...

Hi Billy
It is great to see your post. I had heard something about a suicide bomber and you, but the ending was not as nice. Glad to see you are alive and kicking!

Hey, Sue

Long time - Were you around when I went to Ark in 92' to do a story on the Foundation for "A Current Affair"? That was pretty interesting for me...Yeah, so I got blown-up while I was doing a documentary about a blues bar in Tel Aviv, blah, blah, blah.

It is so good to know you are alive. It is amazing how blinded we were. You saw through tony long before most of older ones did.

So what have ya been up to lately? Still doing docs?

How long did it take you to recover from your injuries. Like I said someone had told me years ago that you had been blown up by a bomb while filming, but they weren't sure if you died or not. The Lord is a great God of mercy and I have to agree with you, he is not a monster just waiting for us to make a mistake.

It is good to see your name here.

Bob and I live in Fresno CA
take care

Did you have any idea things had changed so much at the foundation. Things really changed lots after we left in 1989. I mean changed for the worse!

How did you find this board?

Hi Bax,
Wow, it's been awhile! Randy Sprinkle told me about the bombing right after it happened and I checked out the news stories on the internet. You were in our thoughts and prayers.

Glad to hear you've been reading the message board. Self-proclaimed World Pastor Tony Alamo sure has become a menace to society and to his followers. He's really a pathetic excuse for a human being.

I always used to wonder why the people that were OUT of the Foundation knew more about what was going on then the people INSIDE. Well when I got out I didn't have to wonder any longer. When we were inside we knew we weren't allowed to ask questions. If there was something that didn't set well, we were encouraged to suppress it, rather than voice it. When I got out and started talking to other FREE people I started finding out so much more of what happened in there. Of course, when I was there I knew Alamo had nine wives....that was NO secret. But I didn't know the circumstances of how these little girls became Alamo's wives. I didn't know they were forced, with the damnation of HELL if they resisted. Nobody talked about THAT. Lizzy G was 16 yr old and Jeannette Orlando was 15 when she became one of Alamo's virgin brides. Then he added more to his household while he was in prison.....Eliza Vincent 9 yrs old, Katrina and Cindi Jo F, (those three got out and have stories to share), then Amy Eddy, Pebbles, Alys Ondrisek and more. It's really a pathetic situation.

Yes, I remember when you did that story for Current Affair. We were all down at the Dyer Church; Velda Fern Peevy was there to speak in favor of the Foundation. You can only imagine how disgusted she was when Tony started with this polygamy. After I left the Fnd I visited her often and we had wonderful times together. She has passed away now. I remember you also filmed at the little church on Grand Ave. That was right before the polygamy started.

I think the more people who can tell the truth of what they personally witnessed at the Foundation, the better. Great to see you on the board.

I am still rehabiliating from the bombing - both my eardrums were blown-out, partially paralyzed, embedded organic shrapnel (pieces of the bomber's body) still stuck in me, but other than that I'm okay. I am the producer of the doc we did about the incident called "Blues By The Beach." I'm still in touch with Og and Marty and Rich and Borek and a buncha bros...I've never been on any internet boards before but I'm gonna stick around this one.

I remember you had something of a background in T.V. Good to hear you've continued on. Weren't you also on tree crew w/ me in E. Tenn. w/ Borek ?

No. Don now lives in the Miami area.He has been married now for about 3 or 4 years.I'm afraid I don't know more than that. I am however, still in contact w/ Herb DePuy and Bruce & Brenda LaKoffka. Do you ever get out this way?

Hey Billy- glad you're alive - God is good and the Grace is more than amazing, I find each day.My computer only works for short bursts - just wanted to say hi. I'm teaching music and jammin' with Jim Hunt and some friends frequently . Still got your blues harp? - Simon

SIMON - so you are still alive too! Tough for me to play the harp cause I'm fer-klempt on my left side due to some moron believing he was doing God a favor by blowing himself up and murdering people. Been thinking alot about doing a documentary about the Foundation. Do you think Tony and the bros and sisters and those of you who have left there would want to take part? I've been gone for over 27 years now -yet, it is a part of my life I will never forget. Make an interesting story...

Hey, Smitty - Tell Bruce & Brenda I said hello. Bruce did the original artwork on my film "Brother Minister: The Assassination of Malcolm X" back in 94. I saw them that summer when I opened the film at the Sunset 5.

P.S. Simon - The two jihadists who came to Israel were from England. One guy pushed his button and became a human pinata, but his partner-in-crime apparently freaked and punked-out - his corpse was found two weeks later floating in the port of Tel Aviv.

Ann Mann....

I know you don't remember me. We only spoke once, many years ago (winter 1992), by phone, when I was a baby Christian; my husband and I were living with the Vincent's in Arlington, Texas, and having problems with them.

I'd called to 'report' the problems. You were the voice at the other end of the phone.

I just wanted to say 'thank you'. All these years later, I still remember how kind you were to me.

Your kindness was not forgotten. It was a true testimony to me.

God bless you and yours.

Smitty, If you talk much to them please tell Bruce and Brenda I said hi also... They may not remember me well. This is Carol Fryer. I knew them for a short time but enjoyed their company. I was a baby christian then so to speak. That makes me laugh to even think of that. I was already saved for 5 years when I went to the Foundation and I was a "baby christian" for the next 5 years. I felt I understood more then most there of Gods nature. Now I understand that compared to Jesus I know nothing even after 24 years. Awesome testimoney choirboy....God Bless You.
