I feel a need to post a few things that some people may not be aware of.

In particular, I want the children who were raised in the church to understand. What has happened is not a failure of God's promises, but, it is a fullfillment of them.

After I was put out from the church, I prayed for Tony every day, and asked God to bless him. I also tithed until I found out about the " new doctrine" of poligamy( I knew God would not honor that! ). But, I continued to pray for God to bless him, fervently, every day.

One day I was on a long drive by myself. I spent the whole day in prayer. It was one of those special times that only the redeemed every experience. The Holy Ghost was one me very powerfully.

When I got back to my warehouse I opened my Bible and began to read. As I read 1 gal ch 1, I read the scipture 1:8 " though we or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you, let him be accursed,"

When I read that scripture God reproved me. The Word of The Lord said "WILL YOU BLESS WHOM I CURSE?" God did not want me to pray any longer for Tony. The words "let him " stood out to me as I read and reread the scriptures. I was hindering God's purpose. My prayers were being heard and God was telling me to get out of his way!

I should add that the Lord said next " AND YOU WITH THAT KING JAMES VERSION " I just said " Lord you don't have to tell me twice." I have not since that day preached, as though it was in God's Word, to read the King James Version only. (Please, I am not saying don't read it! By all means read the Word!)

Tony crossed a line when he began to preach his sin as God's holiness.

Many people understand that if you are the child of an alcoholic, you are much more likely to be an alcoholic. I am not going to explain this as a
psychiatrist (I'm not one). As a Christian we believe this is a spiritual weakness.

When Tony's father died, his family found out that he had taken many wifes all around the country. When Tony forsook " The Heavenly Father" he took on the same spirits as his earthly father plus any he had himself before he had known the Lord. This is in line with what Jesus said would happen when someone forsakes the Lord.

And, just like the unjust steward he changed the debt of service to the Lord. The rules began to change drastically.

Some of your parents may be serving the Lord, others may not. What matters is what YOU do. Jesus Christ is real! He died on the cross, and God the Father rose Jesus Christ from the dead!
You can inherit the Land of Promise! God is well able to bring us in!

JESUS NEVER FAILS!
HE IS BOTH LORD AND CHRIST.
Take hold of the promises. They belong to you!

Love in our Blessed Savior Jesus Chist, Son of David, Son of God, our Redeemer.

Is there any particular reason Tom is spelling promises with a c? Is it a translation effect or misspelling?

I want to clarify my statement that "Tony crossed a line when he began to preach his sin as holiness."

He truly did cross a line when he did that But, what made this act so blasphemous was: 1. He knowingly did this, and 2. He had abused and defiled vessels reserved to God's service.

"What you do to the least of these my little ones ye have done it unto me."

When Belshazzar in his drunken arrogance called for the vessels of gold and silver, that were meant for God's service, and drank wine and praised the false God that allowed his indulgence; that is when he crossed a line. The judgment of God was set.

How much more, when the vessels are part of Christ's flesh and bone, holy and set aside for him?

Our love for Jesus Christ is manifest by our love for the brethren. Tony's hatred towards our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, is manifest by his disdain for Christ's bride.

Hi Tom

It's really good to see you here. I have also enjoyed very much reading your posts. Very uplifting.

You know, I've never thought about those scriptures in Daniel and Belshazzar's misuse of God's vessels and their parallel to the body and bride of Christ. I love it when we can find excellent examples like this in the Bible to show God's great judgment upon evil rulers.

When one takes the precious things of God, especially his precious bride whom he bought with his blood and whose value far exceeds those gold and silver vessels - takes these precious vessels and defiles and misuses and abuses them as Tony has in the past and still does, as you have pointed out how Tony truly did cross the line, and because for a season God has allowed his folly to continue, we see what ultimately happened to that evil king, Belshazzar. Truly, you have made a great point here.

I think that with all of us taking the kind of stand that we are here by ripping the cloak off of Tony's evil deeds and exposing his folly, we will once again see the judgment of God.

"But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea."

The handwriting is on the wall!

Thanks again Tom for this sharing this with all of us. Very uplifting.

Love in Christ,
George

Tom,

Your original post on this thread touched me. I was touched by your sincere relationship with the Lord. You and I have never spoken and in fact I don't know if you even know me, but I felt a kinship with you. The fact that the Lord spoke to you (not to Tony for you) is such a testimony. Our God sure is a talker! He still speaks to us if we stop and listen. My pastor always tells me it is important to document God's reactions. His reaction to your time and commitment obedience to Him was a rhema word specifically for you. I think it is beautiful. I love it! what a great testimony, Thank you thank you thank you.... And glory to God, from whom all blessings flow.... His blessings make rich and they add no sorrow. I love the Lord so much... it fills me to overflowing.

In Christ,
Rebecca

Rebecca, Thank You for your kind words. I do remember you. If I remember correctly, when you were born we all prayed for you because you were born with a hole in your heart and the Lord healed you.

I was mostly on the tree crew, but I certainly knew who you were. There truly is a kindred spirit that I felt reading your posts from the time I started reading them. It is wonderful to be able to see peoples hearts without seeing their faces.

Maybe someday we will meet. Abby and I are in Broward Co. I read in your posts that you are in Palm Beach.

Keep up the Lord's work. Jesus never fails.

Love in Christ, Tom

Tom;
Wow, since you were my older christian it makes me proud reading what you wrote. That was really good. I'll bet it was good to have the Lord speak to you like that and realize that he actually does speak to His children.
We were always told that the King James was the only accurate Bible, but the Amplified, though difficult to read is actually a little more accurate in it's translation and the NASB is now considered to be the most complete and accurate.
Anyway God Bless you for your post as that is very true what you said the Lord told you.
Just a trivia note; When the scripture says that whosoever OFFENDS one of these little ones, the word that was translated offend is the Greek word "scandalon" which has a very different meaning than to hurt someones feelings.
I just remembered I sent you a copy of my book and I explained in the book about the word scandalon. Sorry I like to teach, that is my thing in the church. I won't bore you with going on any more. Just love your post.
