Oprah doesn’t seem to stand on the Word of God but on her own understanding about that.
I don't know what will happen to people who try to do good all their life and never heard about Jesus (and it is about non Jews living before His coming on earth and about people who died without hearing about Him) but one thing is sure, Jesus is the only way to have our sins forgiven and no sinners shall go to heaven, and all men are sinners...So....Let talk only about Jesus and nothing else. Oprah is doing some kind of religious humanism and that dangerous. Peter got rebuke strongly by Jesus once for doing that too .
That my feeling about Oprah.
The Word, nothing else but the written Word of God.

Oprah is a defender and champion for women and their rights. I don't know where she stands when it comes to the Lord, however if she would air the story about Tony Alamo and what he inflicts on innocent people under the fake front of being the "world pastor", self appointed, self-annointed! then the truth would be getting out onto the airways.

Hey, let's don't forget that the Lord can speak through a jack@ss. Whoever the messenger is who he uses to speak out against the evil of Tony Alamo...I'm all for that. There are many people who don't know God, that still have a sense of decency....they know that rape, child abuse, and child molestation are horrible crimes against mankind. That's why even hardened criminals in jail often torment and kill child abusers when they end up in prison. Get ready, Tony. Your time is short!

I never heard of Oprah before (I live in France). I thought she was a Christian that why I wrote about her. Now, if she is not a born again Christian, I can understand why she is talking that way, that's normal from anyone who had not been born again and had not felt a change in his life. She is maybe a decent person like some other who stand for what is right, but we know that it is not enough to make it to Heaven.
Unhappily we have also some people who had been born again once but who have forgotten to day all about decency.

That was why I posted that article Marcel. I knew perhaps some might not want to step into something that may backfire because of twisted views and intentions; it may turn in the event that a strong stand in Christ were presented. Just and opinion. People will do what they choose with the information.

ill never forget this sweater kimi gamez use to wear. it had a bunch of ducks and one goose and said something like " its good to be different" or maybe "some times different is good " anyway what a boring world this would be if everyone was the same and had the same views

i remember this hearing that when we got to heaven we would sit in front of the lamb singing praises, and thinking oh great i already have a hard time staying awake for my prayer hour and when i die i have to sit there and worship for eternity, bummer. Tony gave this message once about how he was gonna have this mansion in heaven and i was thinking i dont care if im homeless in heaven ill sleep on golden streets i just wanna make it in

Eric you are sooo wrong for bringing up that old $hit.http://www.factnet.org/discus/clipart/biggrin.gif I assure you I don't dress weird like that now. Oh my gosh I was such a tomboy. But hey we wore we got in on "dono's". Its not like i had a real choice. Remember the big donation we got in one time of tennis shoes ie. reeboks, and nike's. Everyone was fighting over them. Some of them matched but were different sizes. It was all screwed up. Oh my gosh......flashbacks!!
