Here is a bare face lie that Tony Alamo told to the world, stating that he was not in hiding, but lived openly in the Tampa area. this post was from ISMANN on Friday, November 04, 2005 - 12:11 am:

Tony did change his name after he was saved but not legally. He changed his name when he was in hiding to Harvey Cochran.

Harvey was a brother who got permanently disabled in a car wreck while out distributing Tony's literature. He had been at the foundation for about 20 years. After he was injured Tony didn't want to pay for his care so he dumped him in a nursing home and abandoned him. He said he was a weasel for having the accident. That's Tony's idea of Christian love.
The coward was openly going under the name of Harvey Cochran and using Harvey's ID. Again this is indisputable fact that is backed by arrest records and court records.

Harvey's daughter in law told me how Tony had sent brothers to see Harvery. It wasn't until Tony was arrested by the FBI for child abuse charges, he using Harvey Cochran as an alias and having Harvey's ID. So Tony claims he was operating openly. He was operating openly under Harvey's name. The FBI had been searching for the fugitive Tony Alamo, wanted on child abuse charges. They found him, Tony Alamo aka Harvey Cochran.

So see Tony lies, and lies and lies. He is so deceitful he has deceived himself into believing his own lies. He thinks it is ok to lie. The Bible says "NO liar" there are no excuses or exceptions - not even tony. No unsave liar, no christian liar - the bible is very clear " NO LIAR "
Alamo supporters be very careful what you defend - to say something didn't happen and it really did - that makes you a liar. Calling people names and saying they are lying when they are not, that makes you a false accuser. Remember no liar, no thief, no false accuser, no whoremonger

The Arkansas Court of Appeals on Wednesday dismissed on a technicality religious cult leader Tony Alamo's appeal of an order requiring him to produce the missing body of his long-dead wife for burial.
The body of Susan Alamo, who died of cancer in 1982, disappeared from a Dyer, Arkansas mausoleum owned by the cult in 1991, shortly after federal authorities moved to seize church assets for tax irregularities.
In 1995, a lower court found that Alamo was responsible for the theft of Susan Alamo's remains. The couple had built a religious cult and business empire from a storefront effort to reclaim drug users and teenage runaways in Hollywood during the 1960s.
The court ordered Alamo to return the body so its identity can be verified by an Arkansas medical examiner prior to a "proper and legal entombment."
The court order resulted from a suit brought by the dead woman's daughter, former cult member Christhiaon Coie of Reseda. It ordered Alamo, who is nearing the end of a six-year federal sentence for tax evasion, to produce the body or be jailed for contempt of court upon his expected release from federal prison in Texarkana, Tex.
"I'm just so happy today," Coie said Wednesday. "He had no right to do anything like this. This is so perverse. So insane."
Alamo, a flamboyant evangelist who acted as his own attorney on the appeal, has alternately confirmed and denied he knows the whereabouts of the body.

Mrs. Alamo, the wife of evangelist Tony Alamo, died of cancer in 1982. She was entombed Monday.
In February 1991, Alamo ordered his followers to bring along his wife's body when they evacuated the Tony and Susan Alamo Christian Foundation compound in Crawford County. The compound was about to be raided by federal marshals in the wake of a civil lawsuit against Alamo.
Alamo was ultimately arrested on tax-related charges and was convicted in 1994. He is completing a six-year federal sentence, now in a halfway house in Texarkana. His scheduled Dec. 8 release would have been in jeopardy had the body not been returned.
Alamo was ordered in 1995 to return the body. The Chancery Court judge stipulated that if Alamo did not produce the body, he would be sent to the local jail upon his release from federal custody.


Alamo agreed last month to deliver the corpse. His followers from the Alamo Foundation brought the body in a sealed casket to a Van Buren funeral home on July 23. Last week, state medical examiners in Little Rock, where the corpse was subsequently transported, affirmed the body was indeed that of Mrs. Alamo, clearing the way for the burial.

Here is another example of Tony Alamo and his bare-faced lies. This time he claims God told him Jared was lying.

Of course Tony went into his tirad. Jared was on a plane to La were Bob and I were sent to sell alamo designs by day and work in the office by night.


Tony Alamo kicked Jared out of the foundation over a false report. He wanted Bob and I to send Jared to live with one of Bob's sister. I wouldn't do that, separate our family again. I looked at Bob and we both said, that is it, we are leaving.
Tony begged us to stay, Tony said we were a blessing to the foundation. The next morning we picked Jared up at LAX, that was the day we left the foundation.

So now 15+ years later the truth even comes out from the inside of the foundation, from one of Tony's wives or concubines.

Jared did not throw the grapefruit out the bus window! Which proves once again that Tony did not hear from the Lord that day.

Tony is a false prophet. The Lord did not tell Tony Jared was lying about the grapefruit.

When TA was little, his parents used to beat his brother, Danny, senseless. They would treat TA and Danny very differently.

How come TA didnt consider his brother, Danny a "weasel"? He didnt live at the foundation and yet I remember when Danny used to come in the Alamo and everyone would make a big deal about him.

I did have the "uh"-pleasure of meeting him face to face one time in Tampa. He did the big freak-out and name calling that his bro does. Must have run in the family, hmm.

I'm sorry to hear of Danny's passing. Too bad his brother couldn't have followed his example.

It sounds like at least Danny went down a better path. Of course I never met him and I didnt know what he was like personally, so I really couldnt say. Just comparing the accomplishments though...Danny had a list of them obviously and Tony would just brag and brag about his and most of his turned out to be phoney or just plain blown up out of proportion. Tony always seemed to need to prove that he was something big and I always wondered why. He had such a drive to belittle those around him to feel better about how he appeared.

I knew Danny. We never really got along, but it is sad to hear. Everyone has got to go sometime...

Me, I listened to a tape from TA's brother's radio show, where Dan marvels over the phenomenon of "brothers who are also friends," and how he and TA were just that. So obviously, there was always a feeling of devotion, regardless how each had turned out.

Here's another scripture TA has, in his reprobate mind, skipped over or has ripped out, or wrests to his own destruction, and has most surely omitted from the "gospel" according to Tony Alamo.

Proverbs 28:10

Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit: but the upright shall have good things in possession.

Thank God for his Word. All his children have to do is line everything up with it. Yes, God says it best and he has everything covered. He didn't leave anything out. He never deceives us or causes us to be confused or to go astray. As he promised, he never leaves us nor forsakes us. He is our deliverer. He is the ONE we can truly count on for every spiritual, physical, financial and emotional need. Glory to his name!
