Wow!
Will wonders never cease!
Lots of good, no, great posts shot down the crapper in the twinkling of an eye.
I can see that a topic like the ‘ALAMO FOUNDATION’ requires a lot more time than the average volunteer can give it, namely because vicious renegade posters (ta’s team) refuse to abide by the ground rules set down by Factnet.
The problem with promoting a one-sided forum of this specific nature is that the opposition does a way better job of revealing their true colors for the world (web surfers googling this site) to take notice of than any of the rest of us can ever do by ourselves or combined. Ta’s goons bring an essential ingredient to this hodge-podge if we want the flavor to be to all it can be. Because, let’s face it, when it comes to shooting themselves in the foot or their backsides, ‘nobody does it better – baby, they’re the best’. There’s absolutely no substitute for seeing (reading) them in action first hand.
No way should an individual’s private info be posted on this site. I agree with ‘hbanana’, too many crazies out there, with access to a public forum such as this, who feed their sick agendas from info gleaned from peoples personal records.
Too bad a little more selective ‘editing’ couldn’t have been exercised instead of “ye ol’ snatch-up-the-plastic-writing-sheet-over-waxed-card-board-and-start-again method” …you get my drift ???

Well it is a problem that many seem to be intent to sling mud instead of tell the truth. And why does it matter whos husband Brian is. As long as he does his job.
I finally figured out where the posts went to Holly, now to find what Im looking for, that may be another thing. I was never very computor literate, even though I really enjoy learning about it. But Im so glad for the help Brian. Thank you again.

Tony Alamo is a public figure!!!
And they are not "lies", they are eyewitness accounts.
There's a big difference between people reporting what they've seen and experienced and someone like Tony and his minions who make up stories and slander which is what the King of Liars, Tony Alamo is an expert at.

ANOTHER NEWSFLASH EXPOSITOR:
In case you are as dense as you appear to be, let me break it down for you:
This CULT DISCUSSION BOARD is titled ALAMO FOUNDATION,
Not any person’s individual names but the organization that CLAIMS to be saving souls and believe in God's word but curiously there are hundreds of people who either left or were put out of this cultic organization and they have horrendous stories to tell about the abuses and insane behavior that goes on behind the Vail of Godliness. That many people can not be wrong. There has to be at least a grain of truth to these accusations, wouldn't you agree? It is only logical.
That being said, perhaps you would like to start your own thread on the front page of this CULT DISCUSSION BOARD titled: People against discussing cult experiences. Now stop your whining and go pray or something.

I find it odd that I would be referred to as an exmember when in fact I never joined a darn thing. I was born into it,into a world so different from reality as I know it today. When my parents left and moved to Nevada, I was only 14. I had never heard a curse word, had never been to a grocery store,a movie theatre,I can go on for days. It was like being reborn but I had already been programed in an other world. It was terrifying to say the least, I remember my first day at a public school, I couldn't use the restroom on bathroom break, I mean literaly couldn't urinate I was so scared. It was different down to the very words that came out of my mouth like rebuked, convicted, passed gas and so on. Nobdy understood except ofcourse for my folks but what teenager talks to their parents? lol.At first I was able to write letters to Lizzy,Bethany,Jeannette.....but that stopped one day with no explanation. The only way to move forward and make a life for myself was to forget, to push it so far back in my memory that I never spoke of it to anyone not even when I managed some years later to make friends. They thought it was odd that I didn't know most songs from the 80's lol. Now that I am a grown woman with my own family and children that question my childhood more and more, I've allowed myself to think more and more about my past, allowed myself to greive over the lost relationships that are so deeply imbedded in my heart and I realize I'm the person I am today because of everything I've been through before and after the Alamo Foundation. I'm on this message board for one reason only.........the childhood bonds that were broken and the pain I feel for these people and their existence in that awful place! Tony Alamo needs to be brought to justice but I'm afraid God is the only one that will do that........still I will not be silenced by any foul spirit that attacks my reasoning.I hope some of the "kids" will relate to me on this....thankyou

Holly, your post echos the feelings of most, if not all of the "kids" who have left (or got kicked out) of the Alamo cult.
I was 18 years old when I left. I too, had never been to a movie, never went to a grocery store, as a matter of fact, I didnt even have a social security number. I felt like an alien.
To make it worse, I had left behind all my friends that I had grown up with since babies and worse of all, I left my mom & my sister behind. I knew that I would be cut off from all communication with them, and for many years, I was.
To this day, people will say "oh remember such and such from the 80's?, and I will pretend that I do, so that they don't think I am a total freak.
Like you said, I am who I am today because of all I went through and endured. I am strong, successfull, happy & most of all, proud that I am free and not afraid to tell the truth.
The reason that so many of the "kids" stay in touch with eachother is because we share a special bond that no one else has. We didnt choose to join a cult. It was just our life.

Thanks for sharing that, Holly.
I can totally sympathize with you and it gives me some small comfort to know that I am not alone in my journey, and all of the children born and raised can relate to what you posted. It was the same for me, only I was not aloud to write my old friends. I was 12 years old and it took me years to acclimate. I am not an ex-member either. I have hope that one day we will get our closure with our old friends, however, it may not turn out as we hope. I spoke with Jennifer Jones Kolbeck when I visited this year and I didn't even recognize her (physically bit not spiritually). The "light" was out, if you know what I mean. On the other hand, Jessica got out and looked me up after being free for several years and she is the same person I remember, both spiritually and physically. So our odds are 50/50 I guess.
I know Misheal Jones is allowed to go on the computer and she reads these and other discussion boards and I am almost positive she posts as one of the anonymous Alamo posters. HI MISHEAL! Tell Jen I said hello!
Like that will happen.

When I stated earlier in the above post that my parents were the only ones that understood,I want to take that back. All they can really understand is the difference between both worlds not what its like to go from one to the other.I can't hate my parents for bringing me into that world because they found God that is the only good that came out of that situation for them so I can't very well regret it for their sakes

So true, Holly.
It started out as something good and then became tainted because Tony Alamo is not equipped to care for anyone else but himself (egomaniacal personalities are complicated but generally selfish). It is a shame, but I believe all of our experiences in this life are meant to test our faith and to help us grow spiritually closer to God. You don't have to be in the cult to figure that out either, it applies to everyone. I have many wonderful memories of growing up in the cult, on the compound, and the experience has contributed to the person I am now. Even though it has taken years to reach this point in my life, I have no regrets that my parents joined in the late 60’s because their intentions were to serve the Lord and there is nothing wrong with that.

Thats what I posted on another thread of how there were some wonderful memories in the midst of the craziness. Jesus told me once to praise Him and thank Him for everything. I do beleive He uses everything that comes our way to form us and for our good. To me the idea of a place where people lived and worked together to lift up Jesus name was just to irresistable. For a long time it was a sterile environment and I know you wont recognize a lie unless you know the truth. Its a shame Tony had to turn it into his own private sex menue, It could have had such wonderful potential.

I had to post this..mightily compelled to point it out when I see it.
Doesn't this sound like tony?
This is something I found, added my own voice and posted in a different(than this one) village on the internet. If this offends you and should you want to tell me off......I feel for you.
>>>>>>>>>>
If there is hate on the side of the "arab" tribes and tongues, I would suppose this might create that hatred. Would we hate US if we were in their shoes?....?.....?..just a thougt.
British troops punch, beat and kick pleading Iraqi children as a comrade films.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++=
I ask you(to whomever should read this) to watch this even if you are turned sour by the thought. Take an honest look at the end result of our children we train for war.
Soldiers become policemen after wars. CLICK BELOW: to see just what is coming home after the "war" to "protect" us...... Is this what our children have signed up for?
Is this all just an intensely "real" and completely interactive video game to them????
Is this what playing Grand theft auto leads to, or is it something much deeper??? We don't start out that way, at birth.......we love with unconditional love until subjected to malice, derision and pain. Is it all our parents fault then? Is it the systems fault? Who is running this system? Why is there so much hatred? Is it natural for men to hate this much, or is it all being created by hidden masters and puppeteers??? Who knows? The Shadow knows.

Christopher...I am not offended by your post nor do I want to tell you off. You sound like a young man who is searching.
In an "ideal" world there would be no malice or derision or pain. There would be no war or fighting. Unfortunately, we do not live in an ideal world. We live in a fallen, sin sick world and the Bible tells us that evil men and seducers will become even worse as the end times approach.
It is true that babies are sweet and innocent at birth but there is a sin nature in them that comes with being born in a fallen world. No one has to teach a child to lie. It is inherent within us. If a child is not taught honesty and other principles of right living they will follow the road of least resistance and that is the sin nature.
The argument "why can't we all just get along" is a valid one but it will not happen until the Prince of Peace returns.
Your God given assignment as a father is to train up your child in the way he/she should go. The Word promises that when that child is old he/she will not depart from the teaching. There is a beautiful reference in the Hebrew to the true meaning of that passage.
Hebrew mothers would massage the roof of their baby's mouth with their finger to induce the suckling reflex. This action stirred up the baby's desire to nurse. When the baby began to suckle, the mother would bring the baby to her breast.
That is what the psalmist was referring to when he said "train" up a child. We can't simply take them to church or send them to Sunday School. It is our responsibility to create a true hunger in them for the things of God by the way we live in front of them and by introducing them to the Nurturer. What an awesome responsibility.
It is only by the Grace of God that any of us can escape...but He has purchased us at great cost and there is a way out.
Who is running this system? Sinful men have been allowed to do as they choose for a season but ultimately God will have the last word. What course will you choose?
Men will disappoint you Chrisopher but God never will.

Chris there have been wars and bloodshed since Cain and Abel. Cain was not raised with hatred nor was he trained for war. He killed his brother because man's nature is sinful and wicked. No other reason.
Only Christ can change that nature and he will only do it for people who want to be changed.
That's why Tony does what he does. He's evil, sinful, wicked, and a betrayer of Christ and the body of Christ. He was delivered from his sinful nature once but he decided that he liked the sinful nature more so he went back to it only now he is 7 times worse.
Judas did it for 30 pieces of silver. Tony did it for the lusts of the flesh. No big difference.
Tony loves darkness more than light. That's why his followers always post their slanders from the anonymous darkness. Unlike Jesus they don't want to be associated with or have any accountability for what they say or do.
I'm not offended at your post but I do think that this is not the place for it as this site is about the atrocities of Tony Alamo and the cult he runs.
You say you posted this in a different internet village. Think for a moment how they would react if I started posting all this Tony Alamo stuff over there.
There is a little thing called respect for others. If someone starts an internet site about one subject it is disrespectful to fill it up with stuff that does not relate to the issue. You speak of peace. Peace will never come without respect for others.
I sent you an e-mail a while back with my thoughts and some questions. All I got in return was a bunch of links to other websites. No thoughts of your own or answers to my questions. When you are able to think for yourself maybe we can have a dialogue. But not on this website. You have my e-mail address.
Until then please show some respect for those who are on this website to expose Tony and stick to the subject at hand.

To those who speak to me in reproof, regarding what I post.
Some folks are still rebuking each other as if the foundation never left the inside of us. My words, my choice---that means your opinion is worth, well...only that.
about some of your views of the future and end of us all. To you I say. "If you believe the things you profess, than you make them your future". Sowing and reaping.
RE: the nature of my post.= I see no disrespect on my part, if anything I see a show of respect from me to you and those in this village. For many, if not all of you, this is the only link I have. Yes we all want to be busy about taking down the rotten leader, that has been established many times; but why is it so disrespectful of a thing for me to use the only link I have to people I care about and have more of a connection to than most all of others I meet....to show things I have been learning....things that affect y'all just as much as myself and everyone else in this system of society and civilization?
You know...if you don't like what I say, ignore it but keep your comments to yourself. No disrespect, just honesty. As a child growing up in the cult, I had no option or choice(unlike yourselves.) but to have to listen to tony and sue's interpretation(passed on through the generation before mine("you" in many cases)....to our empty and always recording ears.)of a religion that wasn't even their's to begin with. The religion that they used to get your hearts and efforts to toil and sacrifice for their opulant and engorged lifestyles! Now, the Creator saw your hearts and knew of your soul's search for it's soulmate(Creator); and met you all and dwelt in your hearts. That much is evident from the testimonies, pictures, etc of all of you brain-washed Jesus Freaks. http://www.factnet.org/discus/clipart/proud.gif
I mean that in the best way possible; for I would rather be brain washed than dirtied, and I would rather be a freak like Jesus than a sheeple like lucifer's kids.
The only thing that drew the Creator to that place was the immense outpouring of all the congregation seeking HIM the only way they knew or needed. The more that place became about tony, the more the Creator withdrew...until one day, the Creator was no longer welcome. And when that happens, hell comes a callin!
To end this post, I realize that you might say: "But this is about tony's atrocities, go some where else!" To which I reply, one of toni's many atrocities is that he sold us all horse manure and called it doctrine, and law.
The god that he told us about, and claimed that Jesus represented; was not the same Creator that Jesus knew and loved. I am not saying that y'all couldn't and didn't find that out on your own; I was just passing on knowledge that showed me how to get past all the world and seek my soulmate, my link/relationship with the true Creator.
If you aren't interested, fine....just ignore me. But don't you know better than to scorn someone who brings you well meant gifts?
