Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
Are the people still in that place allowed to celebrate Thanksgiving? I was just wondering because it seems like over the years Tony has turned the original gospel being preached into some Zionist rantings. According to him only Jews are the chosen ones and it up to them to lead the gentiles to heaven. Thanksgiving can be twisted by him into being of the devil since it is an anti-christ government sanctioned holiday. I will pray for our friends still in there to have a Happy Thanksgiving.
A few things I am thankful for:
I am thankful for my wonderful family.
I am thankful for my terrific friends.
I am thankful for the freedom to choose.
I am thankful that God hears all prayers, even from those who don't really believe in Him.
I am thankful that my children are only punished by me and in a way that does not instill fear but instead, understanding of the lesson being learned.
I am thankful that my food will be plentiful and delicious!
I am thankful that the in-laws are going away this Thanksgiving so I get to stay home with my family and will probably be in my pajamas ALL DAY LONG!
God Bless,
Hannah

...just saw that there was a Thanksgiving thread.
I want to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving Day! We who have been liberated physically and mentally from the bondage of the Alamo group have MUCH to be thankful for.
I thank God that I'll be spending the day with lots of loving family members who I have been reunited with for the past ten years, after 25 years of separation from them while in the Alamo group. I thank God for his mercies and goodness and I thank Him for many wonderful friends I made while in the Alamo group, who I still have a relationship with and who are still an important part of my life.
I thank Him for all the people on this message board who have shared their stories and who have cried out against the injustices committed by Tony Alamo against little children. I am proud to call you my friends.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving day with their families and loved ones!
I'm very thankful the Lord delivered our family from Tony Alamo. I am also thankful for all who have been like Samuel, and bravely keep exposing the evils of Tony Alamo.
Have a Happy Turkey Day!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
I was thinking today as I was in the grocery store picking up some last minute things for tomorrow's dinner, how great it is to be free. I mean really free! Not just physically free from the cult, but mentally free.

The dog got his fair share of about a dozen or so good sized pieces of turkey breast, and nobody got put on report! It was a happy thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm going to go rummage for fig newtons. Hey, who invented those things, anyway??
Things I am thankful for:
A night alone with my faithful and kind husband
Too much food
Freedom of Religion
A voice that can be heard
Thoughts which are my own
A spirit, that despite repeated wounding, can still respond to love.
Love to all,
Jael
