Harold_t, I will have to tell you that there were many times while I was still in the Alamo group (and a faithful, deceived follower of Tony's) that some of the outlandish claims he made would just EMBARRASS me. You know, saying that magazines such as Redbook, Good Housekeeping, National Geographic, McCalls, House Beautiful etc were all secretly owned or controlled by the Vatican. I mean, c'mon.

Here's another one of Tony's fabrications (lies) taken right off the heading on his own tracts. He says "Alamo literature circulation is more that USA TODAY, THE NEW YORK TIMES, L.A. TIMES, and many other national publications COMBINED." Oh c'mon! What tripe! Those kind of lies used to really bother me and that's nothing compared to this filth and degeneracy he is proclaiming on his radio program against innocent little girls.

There's many other examples and I am sure that currently many people in the group are embarrassed by Tony's swelling lips.

When I was there many people were opposed to the polygamy but Tony just kept on twisting the scriptures and preaching that if you left his group you would Surely go to hell. Such deception!
These people have been bewitched by Tony into believing "another gospel".

I am a little surprised that tony would go this far. This stuff seems just unbelievable. I think there is a scripture that says "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh." So, from what I understand this was taped. Was it a radio broadcast? Is it on his website? If it is that really is blatant.
I would be quite surprised if Harold, the_truth, or prayful_times get on the board now. They might have a difficult time disputing the actual sound bites. I am just at a loss why anyone would stay there.
However, you alamo folks that are reading this. Remember if you decide to "turn over a new leaf" so to speak, you can contact any of us and we will definately do whatever we can to help. Some one should give some thought to syndicating his stuff and calling it something like “Blowhard’s Receive It Or Not.” They could put it out there as tongue-in-cheek humor and run it on the comedy channel. They would need to be sure to get paid up front though, because without a captive audience held under duress of winding up in a burning hell if they turn him off, he’s guaranteed to BOMB in record time. His stuff is just too depressing even as black comedy.

One of the reasons I left the foundation only after 2 1/2 years in the 70's was because I really thought that after the born again experience, etc. that our emotions and spirituality would be revolutionized rather quickly, on a continuing basis, for whoever put their best foot forward. I noted that at the 1971-2 T&amp;S Davenport house construction the urgency of the 'git-er-done' attitude of T. Alamo and the harshness of his de-MEAN-or and how we should be the 'toughest' befitting for Tony and Sue,' er I mean 'Joels army.' Also the 'time is short' rationale coupled with Susie Q's imminent demise was impressioned at the forefront of our 'works' ethic. A heretical 'works' religion was then already well in progress (eclipsing by far that of Roman Catholicism),impacted by the symptoms of lessening anointings, souls being saved, and sincere outreach.

The T&amp;S draconian control so perfectly opposed, the Lords' yoke, which is easy. I write this not to Tony Alamo, as I see that he is a lost cause, but to any there that is able to read here, think about it and break loose of those bonds. Those bonds being of Satan himself who exalts himself above and beyond all that is called of God, with no remorse and no repentance.

A friend that sticks closer than a brother is Jesus, but a fiend (friend without the 'r') is THE enemy. Tony Alamo has become a scripture fiend, using scripture out of context against especially those vulnerable upon the post born again experience for usage and control to support his 'deity' which is himself.

Those that have chosen the path to abide with Tony Alamo, are no less than habitual offenders of the Word of God, and everything sacred, and you have or will become like your master. This is talking to you, Tommy Richards, Tommy Scarcello, Bob Streit, Sharon Kroopf Alamo, Buster White, Ben Edwards, etc, etc.

Tony used to tell his duped followers to be robots for the Lord, but what he meant was robots for him, the great Tony Alamo, and it is so obvious who his master is. Come clean, turn Tony Alamo into the proper authorities for his crimes against adults and children, and it will go better for you. This is real scary stuff, guys and girls behind those walls, but do the right thing, if not for you, at least do it for the children. Bad habits do not make those habits alright with time, the long term effects just deepen the intensity of the problem and habit.

Tony Alamo believed the lie, that everyone in the church is brainwashed, more than anyone inside the foundation ever did.

He honestly believed that it was just his salesmanship (GAG, GAG, GAG), and had nothing to do we us being called and anointed by God.

That's why pride was able to deceive his wicked heart. He began believing that even the children, were his personal property, to do with as he pleased.

That was the fatal error that cost him his soul.

Spiritual pride is particularly deceitful. What happened with Tony Alamo is, he became so used to justifying every sin without reproof. (If he was reproved, the fact that he could just put people out in the streets, just made his ego grow.) Then he made the big mistake. He began to mistake the <u>sin</u> of presumption for <u>faith</u>.

He thought that there would be no judgment for him, because it had not come yet. He convinced himself that every vile thing he did was truly of God.

In other words, he had finally been turned over to a reprobate mind. God had chosen his delusions.

God help anyone that stays with him now. They are choosing a path of destruction, not only for themselves but for their children.

I really think you have made some great points here. When people like Tony who have had so much power for so long and their hearts are not in the right place, God gives them enough rope and, eventually, just when they think they "sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow" they just take that rope and hang themselves, for "strong is the Lord God who judgeth." And, like you said, (unfortunately) the ones that remain there will go down with him.

After all as we heard him refer to himself as the "Lord's Rocky" or the "Lord's Ramboo" ,he deemed himself above reproach, above reprof, he would have been just to ashamed to admit to his sins, ever, and it has continued on until now. All things are possible but I wonder if Toni's enormous, and yet, fragile ego could survive the toppling and come out with sincere remorse and contrition for all of the wicked abominations that he has performed over the many years. And then would he stay repented??? Or, as history has shown us as in the past when he has been humbled by God, that root of pride crept right back in and that enormous ego took right back over. Subsequently, each time it just got worse and worse.

Now look at him, he thinks he is king of all he surveys. He is exempt from the commandments of God. He is on an equal par with God, himself. He is the self-proclaimed "world pastor" incarnate Tony Alamo the Great." "How Great I Is." It is his theme song, and the main theme underlying all his sermons.

Anyone who tries to even point out to him one of his faults or mistakes, he flies into a rage and, in many cases, just kicked them out on the streets. He has encased himself in such great pride, he is impervious to any outside criticism of any kind, constructive or otherwise.

Tony Alamo is an ogre of a monster on the loose whose great pride and ego shall surely bring him down and whose end is destruction.

Also wanted to mention that the statement by Tom -

Consequently, those that are CHOOSING TO REMAIN with him and those who are too fearful to resist him and take a stand, are guilty by association. Or, as the Lord says it, partakers of his evil deeds.

All things are possible but I wonder if Toni's enormous, and yet, fragile ego could survive the toppling and come out with sincere remorse and contrition for all of the wicked abominations that he has performed over the many years. And then would he stay repented??? Or, as history has shown us as in the past when he has been humbled by God, that root of pride crept right back in and that enormous ego took right back over. Subsequently, each time it just got worse and worse.

Now look at him, he thinks he is king of all he surveys. He is exempt from the commandments of God. He is on an equal par with God, himself. He is the self-proclaimed "world pastor" incarnate Tony Alamo the Great." "How Great I Is." It is his theme song, and the main theme underlying all his sermons.

Anyone who tries to even point out to him one of his faults or mistakes, he flies into a rage and, in many cases, just kicked them out on the streets. He has encased himself in such great pride, he is impervious to any outside criticism of any kind, constructive or otherwise.

There ain't much in the humility department with Comrade Alamo, if any. A legend in his own mind, someone that proud probably won't back down anytime soon.
