Sue Moran was a homeless drug addict and street tramp that sought help and refuge at the Tony Alamo Christian Ministries in Hollywood California back in 1970. She was freely supported and helped by the ministry, which tried to rehabilitate her through a Christian lifestyle. Sue could not adapt to a Christian lifestyle and longing for her previous degenerate lifestyle, she soon returned to her life in the streets. Shortly thereafter she became pregnant by an unknown vagabond and again sought refuge and help from the ministry. She told everyone that she woke up one night to find a large black man holding a knife to her throat and she became scared for her life and begged to return to the Church where her illegitimate b*stard son, Jason Moran, was born on December 26, 1971.
Sue was indigent and the Church paid all her birth and health care expenses and supported her and her child for many years. In 1975, Sue Moran married a former drug addict that attended the Alamo Christian Church named Bob Balsley, and she became Sue “Moran” Balsley. On March 15, 1976 they had a son born to them named Jared Balsley.
Jason and Jared soon began to follow their mother’s pernicious ways, eventually bringing shame and disgrace upon the whole family. According to sworn notarized testimony dated March 6, 1990, Jason was caught molesting an 8-year-old girl. The little girl’s mother caught Jason fondling and kissing her privates. Jason denied this at first but according to signed and sworn affidavits from his mother, Sue, and his father, Bob, Jason later confessed to this and other perverted acts. Also, according to a sworn affidavit by his mother, Sue Balsley, Jason further exhibited pedophile tendencies when Roger &amp; Carol Suihkonen caught him lying on top of their three-year-old daughter named Penny. Jason’s was later caught window peeping in their neighbor’s house and tried to seduce a young girl named Tina to commit fornication with him. These are just a few of a long string of perverted acts involving the Balsley family, which resulted in them being kicked out of the Church in shame.
The Balsley family then moved to Fresno, CA where they sponged off Peggy Balsley, Bob’s sister, who operated a Domino Pizza franchise. According to Sue Balsley, while her son Jason was still a minor, she allowed him to illegally live with and carry on an incestuous affair with his aunt Peggy, who was twice his age. Sue also said that Jason was heavily involved in drugs and alcohol while he was shacked up with his aunt Peggy.

Jason’s aunt Peggy soon found out for herself about the treachery of the Balsley family when Jason stole over $8,000 from her and absconded to avoid prosecution. On December 21, 1992, Peggy filed civil case # C92045326CE in Fresno Superior Court to recover the stolen money from Jason. She obtained a judgment against Jason; however after fleeing to Denver, Colorado, he filed bankruptcy case # 93-16613 SBB in US Bankruptcy Court, District of Colorado, to avoid paying the debt and the outstanding judgment. Peggy Balsley stated in a sworn notarized affidavit in 1994, that while Jason was living with her, he had conspired with the notorious attorney, Peter Georgiades, of the criminal Cult Awareness Network, to give false testimony in Federal Court against Pastor Tony Alamo, after Georgiades promised him money for his lying testimony. Peggy said that Jason was very afraid that it would be discovered he had lied in Court and he would have to go to jail for perjury. Bob and Sue Balsley have also acknowledged Jason’s lies and perjury in sworn and notarized statements. Sue Balsley also stated that Jason even contemplated suicide as a result of his criminal actions.
These criminal and devious acts by the Balsley family soon drove Peggy into irreconcilable debt and on May 20, 1999 she was forced into bankruptcy in case #99-14588-A-13 filed in the Fresno Division of the US Bankruptcy Court. It appears that Peggy lost her business, home and savings as a result of the Balsley family’s actions.
Without Peggy and her Pizza franchise to mooch off any more, the Balsley’s had to find new means to support their perverted lifestyle. Jason, now living in Colorado where he fled to avoid prosecution, got married to a girl named Christine and went to work as a nursing assistant. This didn’t last long, and according to his wife Christine, Jason was soon fired from the Cherry Creek Nursing Center at 14699 E. Hampden Avenue in Aurora, Colorado for “abusing elderly patients”. He not only abused the elderly, but also reportedly followed his mother’s example of infidelity and abandoned his wife Christine and was living in adultery with a prostitute. Jared Balsley was reportedly a gangbanger in Fresno and according to the Mohave County Superior Court, case #S-8015-CR-20049118, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona he required Court monitoring when he moved there due to his gang banger criminal history. Bob and Sue Balsley, unable to make an honest living, started a scurrilous online sales business called One Man’s Treasures at 5361 W. Garland, Fresno CA 93722, which purportedly sells, barters and trades imported trinkets from China, to unsuspecting website customers and BXI &amp; ITEX trade association victims, through fraudulent misrepresentations on their website.

A check of the California Secretary of State and the California Franchise Tax Board records show no company filings for their mysterious business.
In further attempts to justify their illicit lifestyle and perversions, the Balsley family joined with several other disgruntled backsliders from the Alamo Christian Church, in a maligning hate campaign against the very ones that had previously tried to rehabilitate them through a Christian life. They now falsely accuse the Pastor and ministers of the Church of the same perverted deeds that caused them to be kicked out of the Church. Their hatred for Christians has caused them to mindlessly work like zombies with anti-Christian criminal cults like the “old” Cult Awareness Network, FACTNet and Wellspring, which have been determined to be organized “hate groups” by the Federal Courts as well as religious freedom groups and religious experts.
Even though the Balsley’s have not attended the Alamo Christian Church for almost two decades they continue to falsely represent themselves as knowledgeable about the Church and are active in posting defamatory maligning misinformation on anti-Christian bulletin boards under various alias’s such as “raining”, “free from TA”, etc. Bob and Sue Balsley are reportedly still residing and struggling to make a living in the Fresno, CA area and it is suspected that Jason and Jared Balsley are back in prison or hiding out to avoid apprehension and prosecution for their perverted, criminal acts.

Tony alamo’s latest smear attack against Sue Balsley is just another indication of tony being guilty of the things he has been accused of and his fear that someday he will have to give account for his lawless deeds. His threats of “who will be next?” is just an attempt to silence the multitudes that know of his numerous crimes. We all know this garbage is not being posted by “former members” who are favorable to tony’s cause. Rather, it’s being posted at tony’s command and he has his little yes-men digging up any info that he can add his delusional fabrications and lies to.

Tony’s smear attacks are even a threat to his current members, that if they fail to tow the line they could be thrown out of the group and might be next to be attacked. There is no emotional security of any kind in the Alamo group. Why is it that as long as the Balsley’s were in the group tony had only good things to say about them? When tony kicked Jared out of the group on a false report he tried to get Bob and Sue to stay and to send Jared to live with a relative. Even after they chose to leave with their son, tony called on bob and sue many times to do things for him; to set up a website, to testify in court for him, etc.
Bob and Sue Balsley were never drug addicts. Back in the late 60’s and early 70’s a majority of young people experimented with drugs a little. Some became drug addicts but most did not. Sue B was engaged to Jason’s father. The only reason she did not marry him was because she believed the lies she had been told at the Foundation, that the Foundation was the ONLY place on earth to serve the Lord. So she left Jason's dad, against his protest, and returned to the alamo Fnd. How disgusting for Tony to call Jason a ba$tard.

Tony’s accusations of Sue being a $lut is just pathetic. She was one of the dedicated, hard workers at the Fnd and everyone there knows that. I worked with her at the Alamo restaurant in Alma and also at tony’s salvage business (run by his mattress scam cohort, tommy scarcello) and she was never a flirt. Sue loves her husband, Bob, and they have been happily married for 32 years; much more happily after leaving the Fnd (with all the insanity your marriage and kids are subjected to there).

Let’s take a look at tony alamo’s documented marriage/fornication/adultery track record. He’s such a fine example of being a pastor and how to live a Godly life…NOT!! He was married to Joann Dill for 3 yrs in the 50’s. Married to Helen Hagen in the early 60’s. Co-habitated with Judy Lee Stearns in the 60’s. (There were probably more but that’s all I know for sure. Oh yes, there were statuatory rape charges also according to an investagation done back in 1973)
Married Edith opal Horn aka susan lipowitz (alamo) in 1965 or 66. After her death in 1982, and after commanding followers to pray for her to raise from the dead, tony finally buried her in 1984 when he married Birgitta Gyllenhammer. In Dec 1985 he married Elizabeth Caldwell-Amrhein who dumped him in January of 1987. The following July (1987) he married Diana Williams who left him in mid 1989. Since pastor tony wasn’t having such good luck with women outside of the Fnd he decided to marry someone in the group since he already had them bamboozled. He married (supposedly) Sharon Kroopf in Sept of 1989 while he was on the run from the FBI, charged with felony child abuse.

In 1993 he claimed a “new revelation” and started introducing his followers to the doctrine of Polygamy through his teaching and written tracts. Much to the surprise and dismay of his followers in Feb 1993 tony alamo claimed Lydia Willis as his new “bride” and several weeks later 17 yr old Jody Fryer, who he threatened and raped. It should be noted that Alamo did not actually obtain a marriage license to legally marry any of these girls who were living in his organization. But he told the girls and his followers that they were his “wives” and they were forced to move into his household where he fornicated with them. From this time in 1993 the list grows: Isabel, Mishael Jones, Tami S, Angel Striet, Lizzy Guiterrez, Jeanne Orlando, Amy Edy, Pebbles Rodriguez, Alys Ondrisek, Jamie Rodriguez, Desiree Kolbeck, and others..too numerous to mention, all co-habitated with him and many still do to this day. Some had the sense to get out of there after many years and others still are falling prey to his threats and delusions. In 1993 Mishael and Tami were already married and had children (Mishael was pregnant) but that didn’t keep tony from kicking out their husbands and raping their wives…so add adultery to his list of offenses.

Notice in Tony’s tirade against the Balsley’s that with all the perverse accusations being hurled he/expositor/tony failed to disclose the author of the post. The Balsly family is a testimony to the power of God. Despite how hard Satan worked through Tony to destroy their faith and their family God brought them through and they still love the Lord and each other.

There was nothing that you condemn the Balslys for that Tony isn't guilty of 100 times more. Child molesting, child abuse, rape, theft, bankruptcy, the longer Tony lives the longer the list gets. Why is it OK in your eyes for Tony to do these things?

What you're doing is like sticking up for Judas. If this was still the time of Christ you'd be running around condemning Matthew, Mark, Luke and John for calling your beloved Judas a traitor because he was the vessel that led you to the Lord. One of the funniest messages we ever got was that we would get no more money from the church but we were all to get jobs. {Not legal} I almost got deported when I got caught installing peep holes. I think it is interesting he made sure no one had any money. I guess if we had some money of our own tony would have zero control. Streit told me years ago that when he was on the QE2 that Tony made him stay in his cabin while TA would be up on the decks.

Streit couldn't, wouldn't or didn't want to give an explanation as to why the brothers had to stay below in the cabin.

When our family took their 1st cruise I flashed back on my conversation with Streit. I started walking around checking out all the places that are on a cruise ship, lots of stuff (drinking, gambleing, picking up women) to do, and then there are some wholesome family things to do.

What was the point of making them stay in their cabin? Did Tony share a cabin with the brothers or did he have his own cabin?

Sounds to me that TA didn't want to get caught doing stuff he shouldn't have been doing!

I loved your post to still_saved_in_spite_of. So victorious!!! I think you nailed it exactly, and I think it would be good for people to reread that post from time to time and keep it fresh in their minds.

I think, over the years, with Satan (via Tony Alamo) pecking away at everyone's anchor day by day, year by year with that, as you said, constant berating and demeaning his followers into submission is exactly how he subdues and enslaves his followers. His techniques being the overbearing, harsh rebukes for minor infractions and public embarrasment over and over again and making everyone think it's from God. Then eventually everyone starts listening to Tony instead of God and then he is able to control them like robots. That's why we call them Tony worshippers. They don't realize it but Tony has pre-empted God.

Through the gradual destroying of people's confidence, their victory, their assurance of their salvation, or as you said, doubt the security of their own souls, that anchor begins to loosen up and become shakable. All we can do is pray for their blinded eyes to be opened as God has opened our eyes to see once again.

Truly, hope is the anchor of our soul.

By the way, that's exactly why I decided on that for my username.
