Mothra films were cool they made some newer versions in Japan ,as a kid i was into all the japanese sci-fi : ultraman , space giants, johnny sokko & his flying robot,spectraman,
it would be neat to find all these on dvd
as for the movies there was Mothra Godzilla etc.

In every Japanese monster movie there is a scene that goes something like this:

GUY WITH A MEGAPHONE (or over the P.A. system):
CITIZENS OF TOKYO! GODZILLA (or Mothra, King Ghidorah, Gamera, pick one) IS APPROACHING!
YOU MUST EVACUATE THE CITY! DO NOT PANIC! TAKE COVER! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! etc. etc.

Then, of course, Tokyo is flattened in one way or another. It's very satisfying.

I am a Godzilla fan and have always been annoyed that in Godzilla vs. King Kong, King Kong won. I understand that in the Japanese version, Godzilla won.
