Does anyone know anything about Eman Or Iman(not sure how to spell it). My sister in law has started going to a group of this name. she is behaving not in character and we are worried. I havent been able to find any information on it anywhere. thanks

The group that you're thinking of may be The Emin. Several years ago I went to a few of their public meetings. It seemed weird but harmless, but since I never joined the group, I can't tell you much about it. I tried doing a google search, and Page 2 had a website under construction that may turn out to be what you're looking for. Good luck. Google said to try again in a few days.

thank you anon. it turns out it is the emin,,,,,,,,,,,I found a forum against cults that operates in my country and they saidit is very dangerous here. milks money too and my sister in law has lots of that.anyway we have an appontment with a counselor to see whatis to be done. thanks again

Rochelle, if you find a website that discusses the emin, could you post the URL? It's obviously not a well known cult, and I didn't get involved enough to learn much about it. I did discover that the members change their names. It's a rather weird group, I think.

they have a resource center with a list and description and also people talking about their ecperience in the specific cults. the cult is a bit scirntific, with lots of weird explanations, supposedly not physically dangerous although some have become psychotic and even committed suicide in my country from it I was told. they were not told to do so, but went into depression...enjoy the website
