Editor pays with his life for exposing sex scandal

Efforts to expose a sex scandal proved fatal for an intrepid editor of Haryana.

Ram Chander Chaterpatti, who brought out ‘Poora Sach’, an evening daily from Sirsa, was shot at by unidentified persons last month. The editor lost his month-long battle for life on Thursday night.

Chaterpatti’s crime: He tried to expose irregular activities, including a sex scandal of a religious cult.

Three persons, among them a senior member of the religious group, have been arrested in this connection.

Chaterpatti annoyed the religious body, "Dera Saccha Sauda", with his reports on alleged irregularities and sex scandal within its premises.

Meanwhile, Sirsa superintendent of police Attar Singh Ahlawat has been quoted as saying that the weapon used in the attack allegedly belonged to the arrested manager of the Dera, Krishan

The journalists of Sirsa have sought a CBI inquiry into the incident on the ground that the Dera functionaries were trying to hamper the investigations into the case.

The news coming out in the newspapers regarding allegations on the Respectable Dera, are the examples of the persons who are frustrated with the popularity of the Dera Sacha Sauda. It is the result of their frustration that for their mean purposes, they are not looking at what are they saying or on whom they making allegations.

Those persons should have look on the fact file of the dera which have always been for the benefit of the mankind and that too without any profit motive.

If they don't know then atleast they should try to bring forward a single person who can say that he had paid money to the dera as donation or they have been harassed.

The persons who have been making allegation have not been able to present a single person to back their allegations even when administration has declared on the order of the P&amp;H high court that the person giving the information will be given a prize of Rs. 1 lakh.

They should try to watch the fact which is in open and should not watch only from one angle which has been just a rumour.

I know that they will realise their fault sooner or later, a common man knows that what is true and what is false as he doesnot watch it prejudicially,

I prey to god that they also realise the fact soon and beg mercy for the fault they have committed as they don't know what are they doing. The reason is only one that their allegation is baseless. Dera Sacha Sauda is clean and those with culprit mind should change their mind to give dera a bad name.</font></font>

all the allegation which were made on the dera sacha sauda probved totally false and baseless.all thodse people who made allegation should be ashamed of themselves.
this is not the 1st time frustrated people have done to good people..history shows us that whenever there has been a good organisation which shows the true path of sprituality has always been criticized by people..
as its very true that walking on the true path is always difficult then the wrong path..
people didn't even leave great saints like kabir jee,guru nanak jee.but in the end we remember only those great saints and not those people who did wrong done to them.

My sister lives in Dera as sadhvi also.I am an engineer.On an anonymous letter an enquiry was marked.But CBI couldn't find the complainant tilldate.When 129 sadhvies living in dera submitted affidavits that they are living with freedom and nobody harrassed us.But nobody is listening their appeal.Moreover Krishan Lal is not a manager of Dera.Chhattarpati (Kamboj) was a blackmaler.He was seeking money.If some people did this wrong action to murder him under their centiments then what is the fault of Dera.Dera condemed this action.Ranjit murder is not being investigated properly.This murder was committed by their own family members due to a life insurance policy.CBI Investigator Armandeep Singh has soft corner to Kamboj Community.Why it is? Must be investigated.According to reliable sources he bolongs to Kamboj family.Moreover this movement is politically motivated.
