I've started a new topic area at FACTNet's top level to discuss anti-Trinitarianism in general. It's at http://www.factnet.org/discus/messages/3/17483.html?1138663311

The "Anti-Trinitarianism" thread is seeing a little bit of action from a Branhamite (I found out he is a Branhamite by searching his other postings):

Having previously debated "Godhead" issues mainly with those who learned their Oneness doctrine at the same place I did (the Chapel), I find it interesting to field challenges to what I now believe (Trinitarianism) from somebody who comes from a non-Chapel background while nonetheless sharing a very similar doctrinal base with it. Also, I find it refreshing because it isolates the doctrinal issues from the personal issues - the feeling of betrayal with which ex-Chapelites always react when they find one of their own has rejected Chapel doctrine, and then their subsequent personalization of the debate with accusations that my motivation comes from hurt and bitterness. Getting away from that kind of atmosphere has been refreshing.
Well Steve....
There is "normal dysfuntion" , what can be expected in most any church. Chapel was and is far from normal ,
It would fall in to the "mega dysfuntional" .... and thats no joke! What you where up against on ccg is the case in point . The mind numbing antic's of yesterday are stiill in affect!
The more I see whats happening there, the clearer it becomes as to the depths of deception and the hold it still has on people!!!!???!!!! Nothing has changed, it has only gotten worse!
What is so unbelivable is, that after all that happened there they still don't see it for what it is and futher more the very fact that donald lee barnett still has a church and people following him ..... ???
It is just totally nuts!!!! Thank God I got as far away as I did ! Ive see stuff in other churches since cc .... but thats nothing compared to what I saw at cc and what I see now!

William Branham - another interesting oneness type. Recall D&B always talking about, 'Brother Branham' and how he got off doctrine wise. Can't recall if that was the manchild or him being a special messenger of God.
Odd that CCBTC seem to verve that way, getting off in its ideas of the Godhead, demons, end day events, connections and considering themselves to be something special amongst all the rest of XianDom.
I do recall Don at least once, possibly twice or more, telling the church that in less time than most of us had spent in school would see the return of the Lord. That didn't leave us much time to get prepared to straighten out the rest of the church world.
That subculture of non-trinitarianism is nice to be away from; 18+ years certainly gives one a new perspective.
