This cult is not a loving scripture-based 'church' at all, but an off-shoot of the Worldwide Church of God located at Edmond, Oklahoma. This is a high-demand, authoritarian mind-controlling, brainwashing leadership group. If you are in this society, get out now. They demand strict obedience to their leadership, instill fear, and are planning a 'fleeing date'. I understand the Edmond Police Department is watching them closely. They have grounds that resemble a compound infrastructure. Members fear leaving the fellowship of this church (which has groups in other places) for fear of losing their salvation. The leader is Gerald Flurry and he has many 'titles' one of them being 'that prophet'. Be very aware of this group and do your research and get out now.

Ohhh ? Just wondering, AT the 7the Trump, the furthest Trump out,we know IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus Christ was pleased with only "TWO" of the Seven Churches of this world. It wasn't the name's of the Churches that Christ was pleased with but rather was what these churches were teaching. What I was wondering does this Philadelphia [= meaning brotherly love] church of God teach who the Kenites are ? Do they know and understand The Key of David ? It sure is getting late in the day here, and well frankly time is running ever so short, people should really be trying to find out exactly what it is that these TWO Churches, Smyrna &amp; Philadelphia were teaching. I mean think about it, out of all the church TEACHINGS of the world, and there sure is alot of them, Christ will only be pleased with what two "type" churches are teaching, their content so to speak. That which can only be found in The Word of God, chapter by chapter and verse by verse, with the guidance, and direction of the Holy Spirit [Proverbs chapter 8 ]. And yes, of course our Father has provided to us "Good" teachers that do teach His Word; yet, we MUST find those teachers which ARE blessed and chosen by God to teach His Word, I pray that we find them so that we ourselves are NOT mislead. Like Christ instructed us to " Test their Fruit " Do THEY or DO THEY NOT teach His Word. We must ask ourselves are THEY teaching " THIS SAITH THE LORD, YOUR GOD" ? I would really hope, some church wouldn't call themselves the church of "Philadelphia", and then NOT teach exactly what the church of Philadelphia taught, Remember, these two churches in The Book of Revelation are "types" for todays churches, in what they teach. But then again, if this church does teach false doctrines, we know &amp; understand that Christ has WARNED US with regards to them.

Wow ! According to Jesus Christ, which was and is The Living Word of God, MANY people are going to be deceived, it says they " SHALL" deceive "MANY". All I can say is that He did in fact say MANY, although, we must keep in mind that He did NOT say ALL, Thank God, and I sure don't plan on being one of them. It's really to bad that these folks here in the Philadelphia church do NOT realize that Christ sets you FREE, and does NOT keep you in bondage. If you really, and truly believe that these folks are in "bondage" and are afraid to leave, you should really pray for them, I mean they were looking for the Word of God, Jesus Christ, but instead they have found that their feet are have been entangled in that net, you know that net of lies and deception. Not good. If this be truly the case, then these are in need of prayer.

Yes, you are correct. If you will visit the Exit &amp; Support Network, it will inform you about the offshoots of the WWCOG. You can find it by going to www.unitedchurchofgod.org (http://www.unitedchurchofgod.org) and it will tell you. The Philadelphia Church is prohibiting their members to have any contact with their family members or anyone else in the other groups. If their members have any contact, they do so with the threat of disfellowship. This group is the most toxic of all the offshoots. There has been statements of overspanking of children etc. If anyone has any family members in this group, please investigate, pray for them and try and work with them as best you can. We hope it will come to its end before anyone is seriously hurt.

Ok. Enough of this arguing, back to the issue of this PCG Church in Edmond, Okla. They have told their members to cut off contact with their family members who are not of their groups. This is a dangerous and destructive and sad situation. They are up to something. I hope the authorities step in.

anyway back to the issue at hand, this is noot something to be involved in, period. ESPECIALLY if yoou want to raise a family. because the second you start teaching your kid these cult's beliefs, yu start destroying his life. I am living proof of that. at the feast of tabernacles a few years ago, i nearly commited suicide because i saw no other way out. it was either live in a world without love, or music(yes this cult does noot allow people to listen to normal music, thy only allow peole to listen to their brainwashing chants)(now I am a fan of the alkaline trio and mudvayne ;) sure showed them), or I could put myself out of the pain. i chose the third option, live to see a better day. that better day hasnt come yet, but I'm still fighting, and it is coming along.
about flurry's(*spits*) revelation that this cult is all going to petra and be merry and jolly for a few years as they sit out world war three, the thing here to remember is, flurry(*spits*) considers himself a prophet. what happened at jonestown? dont remember? let me remind you, this guy, jones, got hundreds of people to believe that he was directly in contact with god, told them to all come to jonestown, south america, where he said that god would come to get them. sound familiar? guess what jones and his minions did? murder all those people in a mass suicide in the name of god. that sounds awefully familiar to what flurry (*spits*) wants to do at petra.

I think you are all gravely mistaken about your impression of the Church...And as far as those of you who "almost committed suicide" and your "ruined lives"...maybe you need to grow a pair and do what you are telling everyone else to. Check out what the church says. Read the bible yourself and I guarantee you will not find a single scripture that says they are wrong. But you don't care. You only care that you, poor baby, don't get your 14th birthday party. Think about what really matters. How hurt are you that you don't get a cake and candles? Did that hurt your little self esteem so much? And about committing suicide...That is a personal problem not the churches especially since they teach against suicide...apparently they didn't "brainwash you" enough to get that point through...and by the way, in the bible do you hear about one birthday of Christ's...in fact you barely hear of his age at all. I'm 19, have been in the church since birth and am perfectly capable of logical thought without their help, so maybe you hav instead been brainwashed by the world or satan. My wife was brought in at 12 and is now 27.she finally said she's happier without the church in her life.she said it was like "a light came on". Mabye that was god pulling her from the controlling hate group of pcog. They keep calling our house though and I am about to file a harrasment suit because she specifilly stated she desired no more contact.they call her parents to persuade her back in.they believe she's depressed.SHE'S HAPPIER THAN SHE'S EVER BEEN!!
