i'm sorry that you feel the way you do about this particular church.I attend an Apostolic Pentecostal church and have my whole life.I have never seen anyone kicked out of my church for anything. We belive in the baptism of the holy spirit and would never judge anyone because we will all be judged one day. Please don't stereotype an entire denomination because of a bad church you went to or a bad incident that happened to you at one,and to post something the way you did could keep people who need God in their lives from church....you want to win souls to God not drive them away.i'm sorry for experience at that church but not all pentecostal churches are like that, infact i've never seen a church like that where i live.
God Bless

I too was raised in an Apostolic Christian Church. I joined it, but never came to actually know Jesus personally for many years - sometimes it seems like many "wasted" years. I feel like I am still recovering spiritually and emotionally. It is a cult - beware. Mine was extremely controlling, self-righteous, not to mention biblically incorrect. It was based on CHURCH not CHRIST. In fact, I can see now how, although the ACs claim to believe the Trinity, in reality, they don't; they haven't recognized the deity of Christ and that fact that He IS GOD therefore His sacrifice was sufficient (and not just "He opened the way so I could repent" as the lingo goes).
For anyone out there with family/friends involved in this, stay on your knees and keep praying. The strongholds of the enemy are so strong. I'd love to network with other survivors.
Blessings!
