I wondered what happened to the Cult Awareness Network. They tried the same kind of trash you people are doing here against the United Pentecostal Church. They got sued by a member they "deprogrammed" and got hit with a $4.8 million court judgment.

me: I don't think Brett needs to be concerned about God. God is doing just fine; and Jesus is still on the throne. I just wish he showed some concern for the SHEEP and the trail of human debris in his rearview mirror. Again, show me the reform and I will shut up. Salem man identified as church assailant suspect


October 26, 2006

The Marion County District Attorney’s Office identified the man arrested following Wednesday’s attack at Peoples Church as a Salem resident.

Kam Shing Chan, also known as Daniel Chan, 53, was arrested and charged with attempted aggravated murder, attempted assault, arson, and reckless burning.

Chan is due to appear in Marion Circuit Court for his first appearance on Friday at 8:30 a.m., said deputy district attorney Darin Tweedt.

The incident began when a man entered the church after taking a cab to the church located at 4500 Lancaster Drive NE about 7:15 p.m. Wednesday. Witnesses said he then threw a flammable liquid and began setting fires inside the church before being subdued by worshippers attending a prayer service.

Three people, including the cab driver, were injured. One woman was taken to Salem Hospital.

Anyone with information related to this case is asked to contact the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at (503) 540-8007.

Additional information on what led Chan to attack the church was not released.

Because Jon cannot dismiss the facts, he resorts to ad hominem attacks in an attempt to discredit the argument. I believe any substance to be found in any of his posts (as little as there has been) has been dealt with and there is simply no point in going around his little may pole any longer.
