Finding out that EN had recently planted a church in Charlotte made me wonder--it seems EN had a perfect candidate to simply co-opt a church rather than start a brand-new one. Namely, World Worship Center here in Charlotte, pastored by Lloyd Bustard.
He's a Canadian expatriate who operates in the "prophetic" (uh-oh). The guy seems to be as hardcore Latter Rain as EN, and even more so than the Sheltons were in St. Louis. That shouldn't come as too much of a surprise--after all, the Latter Rain WAS born in Canada.
What's more, his church is much closer to UNCC--so unless most of the UNCC EN chapter comes from the southeastern portion of town (where they're meeting right now.
A woman from his church, Donica Hudson, hosts a show on the local public access channel, "Charlotte Alive," which is dedicated to showcasing "citywide transformation" in the Charlotte area.
