From Wikipedia:
A whistleblower is an employee, former employee, or member of an organization who reports misconduct to people or entities that have the power to take corrective action.

In the case of EN it seems that some who are cultists and not real Christian members of the EN church choose not to take corrective action and even to obstruct such action with misinformation, proganda and other nefarious techniques.

How best might one approach this problem?

See my article on 'Why we shouldn't cover-up scandal'
http://everynation.proboards102.com/index.cgi?board=abusive&action=display&thread=1146 820045

I would encourage others to follow my and others on FactNet example in exposing scandals after attempts at due biblical process (Matthew 18, 1 Timothy 5:20). Hopefully, then cultists will realise that long term cover-ups such as occured with Paul Daniel are impossible - and that they will get caught - and so will be too afraid to try them in future.

I support that article. I am sure that it has been beneficial in helping people understand the truth.

I have been a whistleblower of scandal within EveryNation. It has not been pleasant, but I don't regret doing it. In talking to other religious organisation whistleblowers, it seems there are many similarities of experience. Reading further, I see this also often applies to the government and corporate environments.

The following site has a pdf book on how to whistleblow you can download and print out. It is called "Courage Without Martyrdom: The Whistleblower's Survival Guide by Tom Devine, GAP Legal Director."
http://www.whistleblower.org

Another interesting document on the strategy for reforming organisations is at:

Please others post your advice for new whistleblowers below.

I have scanned through Courage Without Matyrdom and would encourage any potential whistleblower or reformer to do the same.

The book is honest and helpful and a good guide to understand what it is you can do and how you can do it. I can only say "wow!" after looking at it. There are some very brave and honest people out there who deserve medals/

An interesting illustration can be found on page 20 of the book in which it explains how a whistleblower can break past isolation. There is power outside of the institution. It explains how the individual can break out the the bureaucracy of the instititution and found sources of potential power outside such as the media, the commonwealth etc.

FACTNET was set up as one of these sources of power. Factnet has empowered people with information, connections, influence and resources etc.

The challenge is that we continue to inform and educazte the outside constituencies so that they continue to exert their own power and influence/pressure on the organisation.

hi everybody,
some good news: a new law has come onto the South African statute books in 2005, and is prooving a very effective tool for obliging organisations to hand over sensitive financial information, as all organisations who receive moneys and employ people even on a voluntary basis fall under the scope of this radical law.

It is the Procurement of Access to Information Act (PAIA)of June 2000, and all entities have to lodge a manual, explaining the procedure and contact persons, with the South African Human Rights Commission.http://www.sahrc.org.za/sahrc_cms/publish/cat_index_70.shtml

I'm convinced that if EN/His people members want to have answers to their many questions, this is the tool to use, as EN is not going to be forthcoming by themselves.

I've checked today, neither Every Nation, nor any His People's church, nor the Louis Group of Companies have submitted their PAIA manuals to the SAHRC, and are therefore in CONTRAVENTION of the LAW in the RSA.
