View Full Version : Prayer in Unity

I put this thread in the wrong place. I'm trying again.
Somewhere on a thread today, the idea of prayer and fasting came up. Tomorrow EN does this (first Thursday of the Month).
I know a few of us will also follow suit for God's divine guidance in this fight for TRUTH.
If you feel led by the Lord, to join in the prayer and fasting, please do so.
We (Dust and I) will post in prayer and will fast. (we believe fasting method is up to individual completely, whatever Holy Spirit leads you to. And, for some fasting is not appropriate, so please join us in prayer)
Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this. We could each pick an hour that we can devote and have prayer going all day.
Or just let it be free flowing......We are open and commited.

This is a great idea. I think that it should just be free flowing. Or, we can pick one particular time of day for everyone to stop what they are doing, and start praying. That way, we would all be joining together at the same time, but from all across the world. Just a thought!
That is what I had wanted to do too, but we were afraid that would offend people. How about if we just pick two times, and if it works out and people can stop during those hours, that's would be great. And, if anyone has any other ideas, we are open.
How about 12 Noon Central USA and 8:00 P.M. Central USA

Hi forword, I posted the original under "EN News and Events". I will join you, Dust, and others in prayer at 12:00 Noon and 8:00 pm Central. I thinks it a great idea to be keeping this in prayer throughout the day, but then also setting aside a couple of times where we will all be praying.}
Lord,
My prayer today is first and foremost to be able to walk in humility and with a good heart....that my passion for truth is the truth you have put inside of me and not of my own agenda.
I pray for ALL the brethren today would be healed..those that have ever had a passion to serve you and have been hurt, bruised, deceived, confused, not by the world, from which we are no longer a part of, but by each other, sometimes through pride and zeal, sometimes by walking in our flesh and not being led by you, or by any false teacher, false gospel, false religion.
Lord, I make repentance first and foremost to YOU, for anything in myself that would be crooked, that has done any harm to anyone in this ministry either through my own insecurity to please, or to vent in an inappropriate fashion and even knowingly when I did not choose to listen to your voice.
Lord, I pray that your children would come to know your GRACE, your MERCY, your LOVE and that a Godly Sorrow would lead to repentance and the gift of eternal life.
Lord, I pray for any heaviness would be lightened (over our posters) for pressing in and not walking away for love of the sheep. I pray for those who are still seeking inside reconciliation, repentance, redemption that you would lighten their load, and give them the crystal clear answers to their questions to you.
I pray for healing and uplifting today of those in disillusioned, depressed, lonely, and grieving, and that you would show us how to carry this burden in a way that gives it over to YOU.
Lord, I pray for a healthy, joyous spirit that is contagious and would be my witness for you. Lord, I pray for confidence of David, the swiftness of those five stones and completion of his sword against any enemy that comes against YOU. This does not mean any harm done to anyone, but that those stones be stones of the Salavation, Truth, the Word, Prayer, and Love. And, with these stones, I pray for amazing FAVOR from you for opportunity to use these stones.
Lord, I ask that you release into the world, the wonderful gifts that you have bestowed on so many of our fellow brothers and sisters here....that their service for you would not be stopped, halted, wasted, thwarted, but that You would show them that their place in your kingdom right now is honorable and worthy, and those who are gifted with evangelism, counseling, teaching, would run to find their place along side YOU, bringing light wherever they go.
Lord I pray that we would faithful with you to the end, and that you would protect our hearts, and strengthen our hearts. And, I pray this in your name Jesus, full of hope and anticipation for your miraculous hand of redemption and restoration, and I mean by this for each individual who claims you as His/Her God.

HUMILITY
Romans 15:30
I urge you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me.
;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
EN HAS FORGOTTEN THE RAINBOW (first love)
Genesis 11:6-8
6 The LORD said, "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other."
8 So the LORD scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city.
;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
NOAH THE SURVIVOR
12 God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. 13 So God said to Noah, "I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. 14 So make yourself an ark of cypress [a] wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.

PRAY FOR WHAT IS LEFT
Jeremiah 31:2
This is what the LORD says: "The people who survive the sword will find favor in the desert; I will come to give rest to Israel."
I WILL JOIN AS WELL

Jesus, we love because you first loved us, and we ask you for a greater understanding and revelation of the immensity of Your passion and love. We ask you to break up any fallow ground in our hearts, forgive all our sins, and help us to forgive as we have been fogiven. We pray for Matthew 9:36 to be imparted into our hearts, that when You saw the multitudes, You were moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. I'm asking for softening of our hearts, that we would be touched by the same things that move and touch Your heart. I pray that the love of Christ would constrain your people in EN and here on FactNet. It was Your compassion, because You were moved with such passion, that You went to the cross on our behalf, and reached out in compassion to the lost, sick, and dying. May the spirit and motive of everything that we say and do be full of Your awesome love. May the beautiful annointing and sweet presence of the Holy Spirit flow down over our lives, like oil on the head of Aaron, that flowed down onto his beard and onto his garments. In this same way, may Your sweet presence and annointing flow over your people, opening blind eyes and deaf ears, removing hardness and softening hearts, that we may see through the eyes of Jesus, hear with His ears, and love with His same heart.
Father, I thank you that the effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much, and that You hear our prayers, not because of our own righteousness, but because of the righteousness Jesus bought for us when He suffered on the cross. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months, and he prayed again, and the sky poured rain and the earth produced it's fruit. Father, release in us that spirit of persistence, that we would know in our hearts what Your promise is, that we would hear the sound of the abundance of rain, that we would believe in faith, that we would keep on asking, and keep on seeking, and keep on knocking, and keep on praying the prayer of faith, until we see the manifestation of Your promises to set people free.
I thank You Father that what is impossible with man is not impossible with You. I thank You that it is not might, not by power, but by Your Spirit. Did you not say that whatever we asked for in prayer, believing, we would receive? I thank You that You are going to turn all of this for Your greater glory, and that nothing is wasted in our lives if we continue to love and trust in You. I thank You that all things are possible to them who believe!
I pray for those that are hurting to be bathed in Your healing waters. Your presence, sweet Jesus, makes us whole. We want Your healing presence to fill the hearts of those posting here on FactNet, and Your children in EN. Let rivers of living water begin to flow over those that are hurting, whether it be physically, mentally or spiritually. I pray for a deep revelation of Your overwhelming love and heart for us, and that heavy hearts will be lifted to rejoice and bask in Your presence. We thank You that Your presence makes us whole. You make us lie down by the still waters. Lead the hurting to those waters of healing, and bring refreshing and renewal, in the beautiful, precious name of Jesus.
And Amen to my friend,JIA.
And, I receive the prayer that we have forgiveness in our heart.
Thank you JIA for reminding us.....

I pray for ministries who have strayed from the truth of your Word.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I speak your Word back to you which will not return to you void.
Acts 7:60 However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says: 'Heaven is My throne, and earth My footstool. What house will you build for Me? says the Lord. Or what is the place of My rest? Has My hand not made all these things?
1 Cor. 3:10-15 By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful how he builds. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.
1 Cor. 11:3 Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
Forgive us for doing things any other way. I pray for REPENTANCE to take place, publicly.
1 Cor. 4:5b..He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God.
Amen

Great scriptures, Dove. Thanks for sharing.
For those that want to take part, we will be setting aside the first Thursday of every month to pray for the people on FactNet and in EN. Prayer is the very foundation and key for change, so please join us as you feel led.

I can't even remember to fasten my seat belt. I have a little note on my dashboard that says: did you fasten your seat belt? - usually it does not work. Well prayer time 12 noon and 8 p.m. central time came and went. I did think about it a few hours before and after though.

hahaha... no condemnation here. Noon doesn't work for me at all. That is prime time work hours for me. People pulling on me from every direction that time of day. I am just planning to pray when I can catch a peaceful minute - usually at night. Honestly, I am more concerned about your seat belt habits than the exact time you're praying. http://www.factnet.org/discus/clipart/happy.gif

%LORD KEEP ME AND THOSE LIKE ME WHO HOPE IN YOU LIKE DANIEL. THAT WE BE FOUND INNOCENT FOR PERSECUTION AND INNOCENT IN YOU. IN YOUR NAME, AMEN
Daniel 6:4-6
4 At this, the administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent. 5 Finally these men said, "We will never find any basis for charges against this man Daniel unless it has something to do with the law of his God."
6 So the administrators and the satraps went as a group to the king and said: "O King Darius, live forever!

Tikie: Great sentiments but I must ask two questions:
a) exactly WHO are you praying for- actual saints or those who are pushing the worldly anti-Christ gospel of Every Nation
b)Exactly why are you resurrecting a thread that is almost a year old. You are perfectly entitled to do so but I do find this curious

I owe everyone an apology here. I dropped the ball on this prayer intiative, and let go of trying to organize it as a group thing.
With the first attempt, it ended up being only Dust and I, even though I know there were some of you that said you were praying along with us on your own time.
In all honesty, I just don't know that I am qualified to lead this thing, and felt a bit uncomfortable in the role of attempting to head this up to begin with, unsure of whether or not I really was the right person for it . . . and felt more comfortable in the privacy of my own personal prayers.
So I apologize for the dropping of the ball on everyone. If there is still interest in this, I would love to be involved . . . just don't know that I am the right person to lead it.
