Does anyone know anything about the EN church located in Atlanta near Smyrna? Can anyone tell me anything about their leadership? Any negative experiences with this church?

Is this the church that just joined EN in 2002 - infocuschurch.org?

No,
that is not it. Their website is:
http://www.morningstaratlanta.com/
That website is not really up yet though...they are listed in the EN church directory though as "Morning Star Church of Atlanta." Here is the link:

I believe Chip is the pastor. I do know him, not very well but my husband knows him better. We've always liked him. We haven't had any negative interactions with him nor have we heard anything bad about them. We know some of the staff there and some of the members. Why do you ask? fyi, we are not part of MSI/EN anymore.

it just came to my attention that they are in fact associated with Every Nation and it came to my attention some of the history with Maranatha/Morning Star/Every Nation churches. A bit unsettling. You are correct, Chip is the pastor there. The stuff i have read lately about EN is not very good news.

I don't know how much influence the organization has on the pastors that are genuine as I've heard about in different threads. There seems to still be some great pastors who aren't corrupt or seduced by the power and money. I don't know how immune they can be from the influences of the organization. The church I was in did not seem to have much of the power abuse but the more MSI/EN got involved in the church and another pastor put in, it resembled more and more like the "bad" churches you have been reading about thus our exit. I hope and pray that the Atlanta church has not become like that. There are some really great people there that I'd hate to see get hurt or fall into the same trappings.
