Hi. I am writing to address some new concerns that have come up today (7/17/06) about some of you getting confused in here by lots of off-topic threads and discussions going on. Let me share my personal journey of what factnet has meant to me, and in doing so, I hope to clear up some concerns people have made in other posts.

First of all, a year ago, I decided to research the word covering, and how it pertains to the Body of Christ. In doing so, I came across this site, and was shocked and overwhelmed by the testimonies and stories and information that I found. My suspicions were confirmed by reading other people's stories. When I felt like I had enough info. I walked away for a while, 9 or 10 months or so, b/c it became very consuming and a little confusing for me. At least I had my suspicions confirmed. I was not crazy.

The Holy Spirit allowed me to come back to this site at a interesting time last month when I finally left the church I was attending. 2 weeks after leaving, this site allowed me to see that my former church had left EN, something I had prayed for the past several years. Technically, I didn't really need to continue coming here for any information, but after a month of reading, etc. and posting a little, I read an OFF TOPIC thread, where I found true laughter and joy returning to my life. It had been lacking for years....and after what I had just been through, leaving, and finding out that my church had left, and that is still secretive even now, well, laughter was the best medicine for me. So, I am guilty of causing some of the confusion by starting 2 of my own "off-topic" threads here. And, I would suggest that if you don't want to have any fun, and you JUST want pertinent information, just avoid the GENERAL CHAT topics altogether, at least for a while. I can't tell you where to start, let God lead you where you need to read, but when you feel like you want to get to "know" some pretty neat people that have been posting here for a while, join us on those off-topic threads. It has been LIBERATING for me, and I find my personality is returning, b/c for a while, I didn't know myself anymore.
I am actually finding it much easier to MOVE ON b/c of the bunny, rabbit(wabbit) coffee talk, and our online church family threads, so forgive us if we have offended you, but these are part of the healing process, and just as necessary and important as all of the "pertinent information" you will find on the other threads.

Nice post dove. Continue to enjoy your freedom. And I am going to leave the reforms to the reformers. I'll be on the bus with the bunny hoping for some devotion. All I can say, is if you don't like the confusion of the general chat stuff, don't read.

Yes, but maybe I misinterpreted...from Philiprosental's post 367, 368, 369 and your post (353) responding to his from the general chat thread under "introduction to the online church family..." I was just trying to guide newcomers who might get confused and stop reading b/c of the off-topic threads.

Now I'm adding to more confusion! I'm off to make a cup of coffee!
