I'm so thankful:

that my name isn't on the Factnet board under the thread "Leaders."

Your turn.

Another one:

I'm so thankful:

that I don't have to make 18 hour round trips to MLTSs in an unairconditioned 1973 Vega (GT) with two kids and a nursing baby.

Yes, Lablady, it's true; I'm a girl. However, my last name is Menn (http://www.jessicamenn.com/), so I'm worth at least two guys.http://www.factnet.org/discus/clipart/lol.gif

WW: Then shouldn't you be a "the"menn, instead of an "a"menn??

Oh, I know, awful... Even my dog's looking at me with that "what did you type this time" expression. I'm so thankful you all laugh! http://www.factnet.org/discus/clipart/biggrin.gif

I hate to break your heart, J2, but some would say that any woman is worth at least two men. Not me, of course.

wild: dog male or female?

wildwood_
08-04-2006, 05:03 AM
Female and I've been known to bite verbally...oh, you mean my dog... Female...she's a very confused cross between a black lab & a rat terrier (so the "adopt-a-puppy" papers stated). She's has long legs, a terrier face, weighs about 25 lbs and thinks she's a cat. Really hates water. Sleeps all day. Has odd spurts of energy at night. Then sleeps all night.

Hey I did a one time submission thing to over a 4 year period. I was blown off in less then a minute by leadership, my response was kind of like in the emotional department of, oh well I guess I was wrong time for a slurpee, not exactly Romeo and Juliette stuff. Lucky Girl - LOL.

miltie: I am so flattered to be included in your definition that I am close to tears.

Just to be clear: frapping, then, is the same sound one might have heard when his/her attempt to "fart" quietly while sitting on the wooden seat of his/her desk in elementary school went badly awry. Sort of like the sound of a car back firing? Is this it?

Geez, I hate to belabor this, but I'm a stickler for proper grammar (not on forum boards), and I want to be sure that I'm using frapping properly in a sentence...because I will be using it today.

Did you check out the other defs? Holy moly.

Yes it may be interchanged in that situation with no loss of effect. Be vewy vewy careful when you use the word that others do not apply the wrong and unofficial definitions of this word.

I am very thankful that I DID NOT succumb to the prayer/spells MCM tried to put on me to marry a longtime member. After what I now know about their theosophical schemes for match-making/arranged marriages and coupled with the "spiritual training" aka spiritism to become a prophet/prophetess, I can say with certainty that I would have been wedded to a witch!!

Praise the Lord that I successfully uncovered and now exposed the Christian Kabbalah behind all the witchcraft, sorcery, divination and fortune-telling in Maranatha, Morning Star International and the "spiritually-evolved" Every Nations cult movement!!!

God is good. Hard battle and the devil played his best hand to get me to jump to erroneous conclusions many times before I got to the core, but too bad for the devil and all his Satanic Soldiers - the SS in MCM/ENC. Game over. They lose.

For those who may yet wish to be married to a godly Christian spouse, a big lesson I learned while battling the MCM/ENC hosts of hellfire who desperately tried to get me to marry this witch is that you should be able to trust any potential mate. I had asked her several times about what she knew about Maranatha. After all, she came up from Kentucky with Harpel over 25 years ago. You'd think she could at least have spelled out Maranatha's history. But no, all she said was, "But did God call you to be here?" I thought, "What kind of weird psycho answer was that?"

But then, a cult leader such as Kathy James who is a Christian Kabbalah witch, just like Rose Weiner and so many other witches and warlocks (covenant breakers) who still are running around masquerading as Christians are a poor source for truthful answers to pointed question.

Maranatha?

The Devil Exposed

Every Nation you say?

Satan Uncovered!!!

God's "New Thing" -- restored Apostles and Prophets and a new foundation for the 21st Century Church -- really?

The Rosicrucian Order of Melchizedeck!!!

Conservative Christian campus ministry -- Oh really?

The Masonic Lodge and Rome

The New Order of the Latter Rain -- A Portal to Heaven?

A GATE OF HELL!!!

The Bible tells me that God can "restore the years in which the cankerworm, palmer worm and locust have eaten." [see Joel 2:25]

I wonder what will happen now....

Hi All- I am thankful for many things, the foremost that I am known by Him, the author and finisher of my faith. He never deserted me, or let my life be at the hands of man. He took me beyond their reach. He is faithful. Wow, that is all I really need. My hope is that people trapped will get free to know this also.}

40days: wow mcmstaff78, you were super star material. What did you do as a leader?

Me: What? Seriously, no superstar material here. I was one of the ex-hippie/freaks, *not* a frat guy. 'bout 25 pounds overweight (well, until I went on the MCM crash course super starvation diet in M'boro with mdillon - the key is not to have enough money to eat anything more that yogurt once a day and a salad bar once a week, and play b'ball until you drop) and definitely *not* one of those "go getter" types. Not sure what the rationale was for sending me up to Lexington when M'boro closed down, but I'm betting it was so Bob Martin could "toughen me up" or something. Didn't work.

I am thankful that I was able to maintain my Certified Low-life Peon, E1 status throughout my years of service. You know us. We were the couple that had the kind of car that your Paducah pastor would ask you to "bury" in the parking lot if B.W was coming. Yeah, that bad. You know, the couple that just couldn't "get it together" (this amuses me today). We were supposed to believe for a new car. Wouldn't have to believe for one if we had just given the 10% tithe as opposed to the twenty.

Thank God for that old Vega with the aluminum block (eventually replaced). We drove the crap out of it for 15 years. It turned out to be way more faithful and reliable than a lot of so-called friends.

i am thankful for the chance to apologize to some and hopefully more along the way (and even more so since i found factnet)for being a mcm clackermonkey. i am blown to smithereens by His mercy and grace extended to me through old friends and new.

I'm still blushing. (Oh, heck, I can't pull that off. I'm not blushing. I haven't blushed in twenty years).

miltie: I bought this huge encyclopedia about car repair. My husband told me to take it back. Everything is electronic. Broke my heart.

However, parked in my garage is a recently obtained 1968 bright orange Carmen Ghia. My husband and I are going to restore it together. In fact, we plan to start rebuilding the engine today. If this means I get to go to Lowes or Sears to buy new tools, I am for it. I may be the only woman who gets all a-twitter just thinking about Lowes.

I'll update my misadventures from time to time.

My husband is sooooo cheap.

I am thankful that Jesus Christ:

* is still perfect and holy when other religious leaders let us down; (HEB 7:28 For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever.)
* set us an example in fighting religous hypocrisy (Matt 23);
* suffered more religious abuse than we ever did or ever will;
* still rules in the midst of a church and world in mostly rebellion against him; (PS 110:2 The LORD will extend your mighty scepter from Zion; you will rule in the midst of your enemies.)
* can restore and heal even when people make a mess of things;(JER 18:4 But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.)
* I am thankful he has kept me strong through all the crazy church conflict. (1CO 1:8 He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.)
* can use people even when they don't have the machinery of a big organisation to support them. (1CO 1:27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.)
* we have a home we belong in in heaven even when we are rejected on earth (HEB 13:13 Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore. HEB 13:14 For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.)
* that he warned us about hypocrites and abusive persecution from them (JN 16:2 They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God.)
* I am thankful that the groom (Jesus) is strong and mighty even when the bride of Christ (the church) is weak - so we need not despair.
* I am thankful for the work of God in EveryNation denomination in exposing sin and judging ungodly leaders.
* I am thankful God has helped others in church history win bigger battles than the one we are currently fighting.
* I am thankful I have God's gift of a Bible to tell me what is right and what is wrong, so that I don't need to get confused by a compromised church hierachy on every ethical issue.

We serve a great God!

1984: I don't think that sounds crazy at all. Being in MCM taught me exactly the kind of person I DON'T want to be, how I will not treat others, what's really important in life, etc.

While I accept responsibility for my part of being in MCM and can now appreciate the painful lessons I learned, still, it doesn't excuse the disregard that Weiner, Inc. had for those under their spiritual care.

I went through about the last 11 years calling my life in MCM my "other life ". One day, way before I started reading the blogs.......I realized that I only have one life....it is a journey......it is who I am.
When I left high school and college and was saved I also thought it was a past life. WOW, God gave us one life and it is like a tapestry that looks good on the outside and all messy on he back side. Reading the blogs for the last couple of months has really bridged the gap. And filled in all the lost years. It started several years ago when I reconnected with Miltie wife and we started taking beach trips to Florida.
Although I wouldn't wish my kids or friends to go through those MCM days, I can't regret the journey I was on and regret it, so I have learned to be grateful. By embraching the past I can move into the future.
My son who lives in TN went to Bethal when he first moved to Nashville, at first he loved it. Then the control started....exactly the same doctrine we learned in MCM. We were on the phone for hours and days getting him to see the deception. I think he finally got it when his discipler told him not to do round 3 of Nashville Star, because he wasn't mature enough to go on.

Miltie prophesises many good deals on horizon in FL next spring. So many deals so little time.Bubble is popping in Fl will take several years to balance out. I am already getting calls from Floridians wanting to move to the great state of TN (no income tax and 4 seasons with winter being shortest)but their house won't sell.Almost every log home prospect this year(from FL) about 30 people have been cash buyers. Football7, we might find some deals on property around Mar after they struggle through poor rental winter.Or we could build anice place here and trade out with some poor floridians.

Little Robert(6'2" 17yrs)seems to have double portion (mantle) when it comes to kicking fieldgoals. I did not even give it to him and he did not ask for it. Strange how the Lord "actually" works.Little Bobby said he was goofing off yesterday kicking fiedgoals with a friend. I said,"How far?" He said,"I don't know the field was not marked but I was in the middle of the stands"(ie 50 yrd line) Approx 55yd field goals. Mdillon WOUCH!His friend said he just stuck the ball in the grass and kicked it.Since he is homeschooled I guess i will let a few colleges in on the secret.Inquiring minds want to know.

MIltie's success was a secret that is now to be exposed. Being the barefoot kicker, the poor pigskin sprouted wings to get away from that funk between his toes and sailed over the goalpost.
