Here's the rag they so richly deserve, posters are asked to please use indescretion for those lurking to have a more complete life experience. Here's to prose more titlating than a State of the Union speech, with bigger words.

Thanks!

Wow....Speak, you haven't kicked the bucket have you? "Memorial"??? Well, we will just have to get Johnny on the Spot Krems to just 'speak' life back into you...that, or some SC.

Continuing discussion from Mad Hatter thread, I'm cracking up here . . . the below are actual city names.

Flippin, AR
Hog Jaw, AR
Suckerville, ME
Hell for Certain, KY
Tightwad, MO
Square Butt, MT
Big Butt, NC
Idiot Creek, OR
and the longest odd name . . .
Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg Lake, MA - sounds like tongues

Here's the list they come from . . . some of the names should be censored . . . :

http://www.thealmightyguru.com/Pointless/Cities.html

How's that for research Ulyankee? I am an informed citizen.

I wonder what it is like to tell someone, I'm from Idiot Creek or I'm from Big Butt . . .

The good ol USA.

mattie fact is i've tried that and several other things outside of standing on my head and clicking with my ear (which ironically, speakword, happens after 2many daqs--go figure). I can click once, wait 10-15 secs, click off factnet, turn off computer, rewrap in original package, and then set it up again and binga banga its a double post. All I can do so far is go back in and clean up the double. I have NOT been able to achieve the infamous JIA TriplePost spinning axel with a half twist. kinda jealous really.

administrators? yoowho? tips?

hey JIA I loved that post of the towns you put up. Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg Lake, MA? Some poor soul is choking on a hot dog and they name the lake after them---cool.

miltie, if I had time I would love to review the birthing process with you,i.e. the 13 cm head vs. the pelvic saddle and the female's silly-putty birth canal.

Contrast this to the male patient who has a kidney stone that can only be viewed microscopically traveling down his sacred ureter. Eye hath not seen nor has ear heard the gnashing of teeth, the renting of hospital gowns, and the animal-like verbalizations that emit from this poor, tortured soul. Thank God for demerol. No, not to relieve the male from his torment but to relieve the nursing staff from theirs!

No I haven't. On the one hand, he's freaking amazing, but on the other I'm somewhat disappointed. These movies are, so far, dealing damage to my "Tarzan Is Gay" theory. I still have two movies left to watch, but if no turnaround takes place I'm going to have to replace my old hypothesis with a new one: "Tarzan Is Mentally and Emotionally Underdeveloped". I also think there's a good chance that he's sterile if only because after 5+ years in the jungle he had to "find" a son instead of getting one the old fashioned way.

As far as the old fashioned way, how in the heck would Jane have ANY interest in a guy pounding his chest hollering "Tarzan!" and then poking her so hard in the chest as to leave a bruise and hollering, "Jane!" Here's a short list of cast of characters:

mdillon- Marshall Dillon
sameo- Miss Kitty
mattie- Doc
miltie- Chester

I can see it now, she shows up at MLTS and we three start a free for all, Miltie crashes his own daughter's wedding. Me, being the old dude, am out for the count, Miltie, bieng Chester the limper, goes down second, and then the Marshall, with his badge thinks he has won it all, until the pilot shows up in the MCM P-51 Mustang (with a Rosie mural on the engine cowl) and blasts you off the dirt streets of Dodge City.

The Bride and Groom say, "I do", we lick our wounds, and find the hollowed out pumpkins where Miltie has put the RR on ice to deceive all the Baptists in attendance, and we all live happily ever after.

Hey-whatever...if I must be "class flirt"..so be it...I do love my 3 guys. Now, let me tell you about the Marshall...hehe I've known him(real life) since we were 20 yrs old(He is um 50 now)haha...he was there when my first child was born...and I was in his wedding. HE and Mzdilly, and me and the tiguh have laughed together, cried, spent our Christmas and Thanksgiving together, spent hell in Mar together and lots more I won't divulge. Milties Mizzes and I were close friends in Maranatha...and shared a very close difficult time together. We both got engaged at the same time too. Matt hatter-&amp; Alliecat...and me and the tiguh..shared the same close friends. We are all linked together for almost 30 yrs. So..these "boys" and I go waaay back..and share intimate(respectable) experiences together...and Miss Kitty has fond affection for all 3 of them. And I am verry sensitive to having this relationship w/ them mistaken for something cheap. We all paid dearly for our friendship. And they are priceless. Marshall and I and our better halves went through Maranatha hell together...and after all this time are finally reunited. I will continue to flirt heavily. And Tiguh just sits and laughs....he know's whose King of the jungle! ;-)

No, no, no. As Matt himself has said (http://www.factnet.org/discus/messages/3/23438.html?1155434913#POST328097), I am like a daughter to him. True, I'm the daughter he sold to the fair, but a daughter nonetheless. (In his defense, it was for a good cause. Bob Weiner needed that money to pay for his platform shoes.)

Matt holds a special place in my life. He is not a fixation in an of himself, but rather, he is a catalyst which allows me to engage in &uuml;berfixation--which is to say, Matt eggs me on in such a way that I am able to fixate to a far greater degree than I would be able to on my own strength. I'm pretty sure there's some sort of weird, twisted spiritual moral in that.

Now that would be interesting.

I'm sure I know people on this forum. I'm sure some have held me captive in auditoriums when I really needed to go relieve myself or breastfeed a baby. I've probably been hootahed by a couple of people here (no hard feelings), and I'm sure someone here must have tried to deliver me from a spirit of inappropriateness - without success, obviously.

J2t...If you were recently almost runover by a wildly driven Kansas minivan enroute to the Comfort Suites Dome in Appleton...it was my twin sister, my daughter was in the van along with a few pre-teen girls. I told them to find you &amp; throw you in the back and mail you to Texas. Apparently, my instructions were unclear and they grabbed some dude named Drudge standing on the side of the road, looking for "The Marsh";sadly, he didn't tolerate children well and was last seen running thru a cornfield being chased by a group of tweens and screaming "All I wanted was a nice latte with Cheetah".

My sister lived in Oshkosh for 14 years, I'm sure I visited &amp; annoyed you in some line at some point. Appleton was basically THERE too. Yes, Sameo, and I find it refreshing to watch your relationship with your friends from the MCM days, b/c things are still very tough for me right now, i only have 1 very close friend who has left our church, and we get together, but she is struggling with wanting to go back b/c they have left EN and we all want to see if things will be different...but, I know we are not supposed to go back..so, once again, it's fun making new friends here and seeing you all reconnect after many years and much heartache.

Whoo! I hope they have fun here. The only crazy driver I've had to deal with recently was that old woman in the tank from Michigan who pulled out in front of me suddenly and went 15 when I'd been going 35.http://www.factnet.org/discus/clipart/angry.gif

Appleton's a great little city--the birthplace of Willem Dafoe (meh) and the adopted hometown of Harry Houdini (yay!). Our lawmakers are a bunch of liberals though who banned smoking in all restaurants, including bars (!). You also can't buy alcoholic beverages in Appleton after 9pm; thankfully, Grand Chute is only five minutes away and you can buy beer there whenever you want.

Hi- I am not working on thesis, taking break. Most posts I have done in a blue moon.

I am history student, so Chris Lambert was born in states, Great Neck, Ny. His father was a diplomat with UN. He went to Switzerland at age of 2 , at 12 went to Paris for school. His first big role after a few french films was Tarazan, 1984. Highlander was next, he is now producer. Has daughter with Diane Lane ,ex- wife now. His myopic eye sight, sometimes appears as cross-eyed. I will use the excuse someday, lololol. }

Matt: Why did you do this to me j2? Pure torture. Lord, renew my mind!!!<!-/quote-!><hr size=0></blockquote>
God himself has given me a brain that is constantly forming bizarre correlations which result in images that are at times completely wrong on many different levels. I have to live with this on a daily basis, so there's no way I'm not going to share it from time to time. It's horrible, but it's still a blessing.

Matt: I'll get ya back...Teresa Heinz Kerry, with a quart mason jar of Merlot in a Jane animal skin.<!-/quote-!><hr size=0></blockquote>
Your powers are weak, old man. That image is not particularly far fetched or discordant. TherEHzah already has something of the drag queen look about her. The only reason she doesn't dress in skimpy clothes is because she's upper class...but if she were somewhat more low class I could very easily picture her showing too much leg and way too much cleavage.

Hi J2- I did some research an found that mypoic Chris Lambert is American, schooled in Paris from age 12 on. My post # 705.
John Kerry was wearing a body suit in his wind-sail event.}

Yes, I read that. But, just because he was born in America doesn't mean he isn't ethnically French. According to wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Lambert) (which, admittedly is not always accurate), his father was a French ambassador to the UN--so it makes sense that Chris would be born in Long Island, isn't the UN building in New York?

Ethnicity aside, he still reminds me of John Kerry.http://www.factnet.org/discus/clipart/crazy.gif

<font color="0000ff">Yee gods ! What have you all done to Tarzan &amp; Jane!</font>
Get those perverse mental images out of my head!
And if we have to have a Highlander, can’t it be Adrian Paul (the early years when he had the ponytail??? Please?) I can work with that…those other creatures, well, they’ve gotta go back to Boston for the Springtime,Summer,Fall &amp; Winter…and STAY; possibly I can arrange travel for them on a swift boat. OK. I'll be good now...
"MOM...J2t started it...make her stop!!" Or Copper...did you start it...you're usually so quiet &amp; profound...hmmm...and WiseDove &amp; MattHatt were typing too.... All of you did this!!!
Aarrggghhhh, John Kerry in a loin cloth....oh, no it's back again, in my mind. Quick think: Adrian Paul working out. Adrian Paul practicing sword slicing...ah, that was close. I'm leaving before that other image come back.

IIRC, there were a series of Forerunner articles published in booklet form. I specifically recall The Bed is Too Short because it was the only one I found vaguely readable, which is saying something right there.

The whole series of publications is still available at Maranatha publications. (link below)

ETA: I tried to add a hyper link in Edit Post mode but apparently you can't do HTML then. http://www.factnet.org/discus/clipart/sad.gif

My defining moment with Teresa Heinz...Kerry. That shot of her walking around with that glass of wine and a drunk smile on her face...and yes, j2, I actually had this thought at the time, this is Arrowsmith's song in backward masking:

"Lady Looks Like a Dude"

I think (think) that in edit mode you can't use HTML but you are still able to use FACTnet's special formatting code.

miltie: I am so impressed! Your are right, delivery does cure it for the most part. However, there are about 20 potentially life-threatening scenarios that can take place before delivery. Scary stuff. Oh, and just for knowing, it has a new name: Gestational Hypertension. Gotta change stuff up so you can sell new textbooks, etc.

Think I'll just chuck it and be a Wal-mart greeter.
