Lablady,
Me and Wildwood, we're project Runway hooked. I know Kayne or is it Cayne?

I am verklempt for PR. I liked Kayne and I loved his haute couteure dress.

At this point, I like the redhead (name/ memory loss) and Michael. I want anyone but Jeffrey to win (I'm saying his name with a really ugly inflection).

Do you guys sew? I used to sew a lot, but PR has renewed my interest. If I can get off this last stinkin' 15 pounds of post-partum weight (26 years postpartum), I'm buying a dress form. That's my motivation right now. However, my motivation is easily derailed by Peanut Buster Parfaits.

Project Runway. It's a reality show about fashion designer on Bravo. I'm hooked.

When is it on? Is it worth my precious DVR space? Because I only have 80 hours, and it's getting full. Everyone kept telling us we had to watch Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives. So, we've been DVRing season 3 of each while we Netflix earlier seasons to see if we like the shows. So much to watch, so little time! Actually, the baby has decided her bedtime is 7pm (except this weekend when she was sick); so we try to cook, eat dinner, unwind a little and watch some TV between then and bedtime -- when we're not doing all our other chores.

Even my husband is hooked. okay I met Cayne years ago at a thanksiving dinner at my hairdressers. THey were dating. He is really good looking...looks like he put a few pounds on though. He is really really nice. I was going to do a wild decorative finish on his walls in his boutique. Gold and Hot Pink and sparkles...Doesn't that sound like Cayne. Maybe now that he's famous....I can still do something like that. And he would say Don't forget the sparkles.

Dove, TOnight at 9:00 Central is part 1 of the finale on Bravo. You can still enjoy it.

Lab ,we call Jeffrey the neck guy. He better not win! Can't stand the guy...You like Laura. Yes, I could wear her clothes. I couldn't wear Cayne's clothes, no that would then be halloween for me. I don't have the body for his clothes...haha

And, I love Michael. so tonight will be fun. Wildwood will get in this, because we discuss it on Thursday mornings!.

WHO KNEW....we ladies could find such a thing in common.
And labby those 15 pounds partpartum...I had those 15 pounds since I'm like 12 years old. I just excercise them and make my fat look fit.

Freedom, let's put it this way.
It has all the drama of our board, but we don't have to get stressed and we get to see some fashionhttp://www.factnet.org/discus/clipart/rofl.gif

It's worth it.

No sewing here. My mother was always good at it and hates shopping for clothes to this day because she thinks they are so poorly made. She's also thrifty and can't get over the prices. (That's what happens when you grow up poor during the Depression.) She always says she can make it better and cheaper. But, she's not sewing much these days.

Lab,

I'm such a bad seamstress, that I have to rip out stay stitching. I ended up giving my sewing machine away brand new, because I couldn't thread it. I'm more the decorator and if I would be in heaven making custom window treatments.

Oh and I would probably make outfits for my dogs...You know chihuahuas like to dress.

The Chihuaha is the Cayne type. She's got a boyfriend who's really a fluffly pink slipper, if you know what I mean.

Dove has a poodle that is turning color on her...she needs a trench coat.

Some of those reality shows can be stressful though. We used to love watching the Amazing Race, but it would get our adrenalin going so much that we couldn't get to sleep. Had to quit watching it.

No it's not tonight I made a mistake. It's Wed night. Tonight, it's boston legal. You know they will probably do some reruns to show the season...look at bravo tv guide.

Dove, I can't get my iChat to work! I know what tonight is.

I don't think PR is on again until Oct. 18th, the finale, but I'm not sure. There will be LOTS of reruns in the interim.

OK ladies and menz...(flo, funny you say this is all crap yet you are always SOOO there shopping, etc. w/ the ladies. hehe) you love it, i know. ;-)

I LOVE PR too! I had to watch the marathon(not maranatha) last week to catch up. I didn't start from the beginning this season, so I'm confused between which is Jeffrey and which is Cayne(K).(memory lapse) However, I am so happy they are allowing all four to participate in the big finale. That was a good move.

I like Michael, and Laura...and I like the bohemian hippy chick's stuff. Especially that last shorter outfit she did. The challenge she won. Cuuute!(her model w/ the big fro and sunglasses on...looked so perfect in it)<--ok, I didn't say I could wear it. haha (oh, am laughing so hard thinking of flo following this)

Anyhoo! How funnnn.....love, love this show!!!

Mcm: "sounds cultic to me..." that's hilarious! heehee (You better run!) ;-)

thanks ladies!!(flo & mcm included)

Sameo

Welcome to the the Bunny Runway, place for the chicks to hang out,....hey guys too, especially if you want fashion tips on how to dress your dog! They actually did that in one of the challenges.

Cayne is NOT in the finals....http://www.factnet.org/discus/clipart/sad.gif
He was a bit elvis, tacky, but that's what makes him great. He's the blonde guy. Jeffrey has the "neck" tatoos, kind of a very ascerbic personality, not too likeable, but good for drama.

Well thanks to lablady we found a fun thing to do....needed...
MCM. Okay, It might be a cult, but no one gets hurt.

Matt Hatter has come to the runway. The men don't like it, but that'll change when they find out Heidi Klum is the host of the show.

Dust: Thanks for the warm welcome!! and also, thanks for reminding me who Jeffrey and Cayne are. Yes, i now do remember the two distinctly. Cayne was a real sweetie for sure. And Jeffrey has his moments of genius. I can't wait for that finale, mon. Now that I know you all will be watching too-oh, myyy, the things we will be able to discuss. :-)

Dovey, thanks so much for all that lovin'....I appreciate your kind words. :-)

Hey Ladies! I still say Santino was robbed last season...! And does anyone know what's tatooed on Jeffrey's neck??? Detroit??? I liked Cayne's designs when he adds just a touch more fabric to them, some distinction between outfits that are visually arresting and outfits that just might get you arrested. Obviously, those judges just had no appreciation for Elvis and neon lights. Guess, they don't make out to the really big cities enough...

Sameo I think the Armadillo Purse would make a nice accessory!

Next week is the finale??? Suddenly I have an empty hour to fill tomorrow night...cleaning comes to mind, but I'm sure that's a bad idea...http://www.factnet.org/discus/clipart/happy.gif

Hi All,
I thought this would be about that runway bride, that is suing her ex!! He,he.. eh. Well that show is on tonight (That youare talking about), and since I love the law so much. The guy with tatoo and rocker looks, is thought to have cheated. Ah legal ramifications...}

Thanks Copper! I may have to go check out the project runway message board (yes they have one...perhaps I'll upgrade my browser software first...). Wow...cheating on a design show...last year they had people making clothes out of grass & flowers...seems it would be easier to just DO the work rather than go to all the trouble of finding a way around the rules...especially if you have a real talent to show off and that annoying tatoo/rocker/rude fella did/does/might???

Now about that runaway bride...it sounds unkind but I've often thought that the Groom's Guardian Angels helped her with her travel plans because she'd exhausted her own already. Perhaps, hers have now rested up & can help her before she's mowing another lawn on TV...or at least arrange for a riding lawnmower. Hmmm, now I have the ridiculous image of her taking off on a riding mower with a pack of howling paparazzi chasing her down the street & out onto the highway. ... er.... I'm hoping that she's just mercenary & not deranged...and Project Runway will select her as one of its guests...with the design challenge to be developing her travel wardrobe...

HAHAHAH, that's a good one....and probably the way he will look at it.

The guy we don't like....tatoo neck.....he used to be on the streets as a homeless drug addict, so seeing the miracle of him making it this far....well maybe Jesus isn't finished with him yet.

I actually thought he was kind of creepy (he seemed kind of controlling) and it was a good thing Jennifer Wilbanks got out when she did.

Hey Wildwoman! Wow--can't believe you remembered the 'armadillo purse.' hehe I think you are right...there definitely needs to be one of those in someone's collection. NO doubt.

With that creative idea, Wildy, I'm thinking maybe you should audition for next season's designers. heehee

Wow-last night was exciting. But all I could think about was whether or not Laura's little boy washed his hands after handling the turtle poop. ha

Hey Sameo! If you've got an extra purse mail it to Tim to give to someone...perhaps it can be rigged either as a "pee"purse or a "shotofCrown"purse" depending on what the greater need is for the models.... Personally, I could use both if it's a long bus trip...after that last one and bouncing along the roof while I think it was Hattr did a sightseeing tour into some caves...tricky tricky...I still hung on and the Portopotty too! (Still wonder who was inside doing all that yelling...).

Anyway...I missed the part about the turtle...last night we had hand issues with Lillie... Hmmm tonight she's still asleep Yah!!!! And since you are here...how did you get to be "SameO" Miss Kitty and Marshall Dillon I understand...Sameo well--??? Just thought I'd asked. Wildwood was from a church hymn that compliment a beautiful coppertree I saw in this crazy forest.... Who knew that I'd live up to the "Wild" part of my name...(except my husband and he promised not to tell...darn men gossip...)!!!
