The board's appearance of turning may seem recent but, sadly, the devouring started many months ago.

Outside of the unity of wanting to see God's justice done at Greater Grace, there is no true unity nor has there ever been any. There has been a one-sided wresting of power that began last summer and peaked just recently.

No different than the spirit that still drives Greater Grace...one of superiority, manipulation and control...and, like Carl, if you can't control them then mock them and discredit them. Now we see those that are pushing back against that same spirit that's trying to take control. We're just seeing it for the first time in a greater measure.

We're ALL equal here. No one is superior...not by position, not by academics, not by denominational affiliation, and certainly not be force of personality. When that's realized, then we can hope for true unity.

Interesting point, Veritas. Others too have posted lately of the changes in the posts again. It does seem to be a driving spirit on here where someone is always pushing to have control, superiority, and as you said, like Carl, if people can't be controlled then they are mocked and discredited.

We've all seen it, some of us have done it, others not, yet we've been recipients of it as well. What good has it really done. None. Did it change things? No. They got worse. The power wrestle is far worse than it was months ago. People are relentless in proving their points and opinions are the only correct ones. Whatever happened to humility and meekness? What about the verse where it says that "In Quietness and Confidence is our Strength?" I believe there are some here who don't know the first thing about how to be quiet before the Lord. I'm no pro at it myself, its something I'll always be learning. The lack of humility really sticks out more and more lately on here. I know many posters who are saddened seeing this as well.

There are some who no longer will even venture to post here because their posts are critiqued and commented about, flamed and twisted, and, addressed from another's point of view. Its the same ones that just constantly beat on each other. It is a "beating" too, goes much farther and deeper than someone having a bad hair day, a ticked off moment that we've all had, or, simply disagreeing on issues. These discussions get heated and hateful in nature.

I'm not the only one who has observed this and I'm not the only one it sickens inside. Thanks for posting we're all equal on here. God is no respector of persons. Loves us all the same.
We need to love each other the same way too and I'm not leaving myself out of that statement either. I know my weaknesses.

God is no respector of persons, that is reserved for Greater Disgrace. I think the posts change in spurts, usually due to another emotional issue being brought up. I agree with the posts being critiqued, twisted and dismissed as unimportant. but for the most part factnet has been a place for great healing. May we all purpose to remember the hurting and the lost looking for the embrace we all looked for when we came out.
