Many of you have been so kind here, praying and sending good wishes for our family. I had some email addresses but I think I lost them http://www.factnet.org/discus/clipart/angry.gif.
So I wanted everyone to know that I got word he will home next week! It's been over a year, but he is safe and sound and coming home!
The girls are excited, I'm needing to clean my house, it's going to be a frenzy of activity the next few days!!!!!!!
Thank you all for your kindness!

I've been waiting for this. Thank you so much, Lord. A dear sister and I were praying last night that the Lord would reveal ways for the attacks against our people in Iraq to be stopped.

Wonderful news, Plaid, we've all been praying for you and for the rest of the men overseas. God is faithful. I'll bet your children are so excited too.

Lee (and Yogi, on another thread), thanks for your concern, but I have been "reprieved" at the last minute. Although a lot of my co-workers are in the Big Sand Box right now, I don't have to go, at least for the immmediate future. Thankfully, "my people" are in a relatively safe spot. Triple thankfully, it has just been boring for them.

Thanks and lots of love to you!

So he's home now! He got in very early last Thursday morning. The girls are so happy, and the youngest had no trouble remembering him at all...he was "daddy" right from the start when she saw him in formation.

I'm so happy he's home safe and sound. Thanks so much for your prayers and thoughts, it helped during this year knowing I was never really alone even though I felt like I was!

Plaid,

Thank God your husband has returned whole to all of you.

Yes. I'll continue to pray that God will keep and bless you all. And I don't think it's selfish to pray that he won't have to return. It's nice for children to have Daddy around; and for him to have this time in their lives with them.

Plaid,

Very happy for you all. Praying that the election will go well and this will be ended soon so all can come home and no one else has to go.
