This is for fun, but it does commemorate a historic event:

Greater Grace World Outreach: Laying waste to more people than Scientology, easier to pronounce than Hare Krishna.

T-Shirt Idea
How about the airbrushed picture of Stevens with
his hairplugs, flesh tone makeup, and forced smile that is seen on the GGWO website.
Underneath you can find the caption;
"THUS SAITH ME !"

In honor of Drug Awareness week,
why not a shirt with Carl's picture on it, and the words "Just say No"

OR another t-shirt which reads...

On the front...
"The Subconcious is the Conscious"

And on the back...
"The Conscious is the Subconcious."

Cool dude!!

My Grandma was brainwashed at GGWO,
And all I got was this lousy t-shirt!

I think a more appropriate Drug Awareness Week shirt would have Carl saying "Realtity is for people who can't face drugs!"

I'd read that T-shirts were sighted in Lennox that said, "Thanks Betsy!"

you could make a t-shirt warning others about the cult ...and make a few sentences describing the cult...manipulation ,cover up, deception, false teaching ,agressive door knocking ..etc.
or a pic of the leaders with $$$ dollar signs in mind .etc.

How about Carl's "official" portrait with this underneath:

WARNING: CULT LEADER!

Or a more lighthearted approach:

Same portrait, but with this quote: Don't blame me! I'm STONED!

I had a T-shirt made for my husband in 1985 after we left TBS. It has a large picture of Steven's on the front with the red "Banned Symbol" across his face and under that it says..."Cult Busters". (This was soon after the "Ghost Busters" movie.)

We still have it. It's thread bare from wear, but we’ll bring it to the reunion. At the time, we needed to come to our senses and laughter was the perfect remedy for us... (along with about 15 years of therapy.)

In 1990, I convinced my husband to leave GGWO. We sat our pre-teen children down and told them TBS/GG was not a healthy church. We wrote a letter to Carl and graciously told him we were led elsewhere. One morning (while my husband was at work) I received unexpected visitors. Wayne Hogarth and one of Carl's bodyguards showed up, they came to convince me to stay even if my husband did not. They assumed the "man of the house" was off and they could win me back. They had no idea I was behind the whole thing. I did not inform them and politely asked them to leave.

I was so hopeful for our future. I bought my husband a desk clock and had it engraved with these words "A time for new beginnings." Little did I know within months he would be drawn back into GG again. Little did I know it would take another 14 years for "a time for new beginnings."
