Scibelli told student that if he disaffiliated it's possible he could be "disaffiliating from God." When challenged on this he apologized for being misunderstood. Huh?

He's just spouting the same old Carl Stevens crap. I guess he believes that Carl is the only one with the truth about Christianity and to disagree with Carl is to disagree with God. Then to disaffiliate with Carl is to disaffiliate with God in a way. To speak against Carl in any way is to speak against God. Now really does MBCS sound like a Bible college or a cult college?? I'm sure glad I never wasted a second of my time attending brainwashing classes there. I've seen how they try to high pressure people to throw away years of their lives by going there and then treat people who won't attend like second class citizens who are evil and "off". My advice, if you want a quality Bible education, go for it with all you got and steer clear of MBCS!!

I think that Mr. Scibelli is accurately repeating bad doctrine that he learned from Carl Stevens.

Scibelli has been co-hosting The Grace Hour a few times lately. Yesterday (Friday, April 22) he spoke of specific, precise provision. At the Wednesday night service (April 20), he spoke about being where God placed you. On Tuesday, he agreed with John Love that some people get beat up within Christianity and denounced manipulation.

Lord Jesus, please help Mr. Scibelli and the other leaders of Greater Grace see past what they've been conditioned to see. Help them sort through what they've been taught and discern right from wrong. Amen.

... and Lord,

Please help then realize that THEY need to attend a reputable Bible Seminary (Leaders at this level NEED a graduate-SEMINIARY education) so they can be challenged to stop "spouting how superior CHS/GGWO is" by others who have true connections to historical Christianity.

Superiority:

1) Higher than another in rank, station, or authority: a superior officer.

2) Of a higher nature or kind.

3) Of great value or excellence; extraordinary.

4) Greater in number or amount than another: an army defeated by superior numbers of enemy troops.

5) Affecting an attitude of disdain or conceit; haughty and supercilious.

6) Above being affected or influenced; indifferent or immune: “Trust magnates were superior to law” (Gustavus Myers).

7) Located higher than another; upper.

Hmmm, especially number 5.
