Hi Ya'all. Attempting to place myself at the top of the list.

Where did everybody go? Am I the only person on Factnet without a life, left alone to post on the Archive threads?

Is nothing happening? Have we given up reaching out to those who are exiting, considering exiting, or have exited? Are we going to let a cosmic event at Factnet deter us from fighting the good fight? In the words of John Belushi: "Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?!"

I'm hoping we could find the way to hit the top of the board, ID it by date, and just roll with it, changing daily. Maybe one of the early risers out there could take responsibility for doing that.

Yes, I don't want to miss it either. To me it is the "fascination of watching a train wreck."

I haven't really decided about the reunion yet. If I feel like it in August then I'll go, if I decided today I'd probably say no. I've met a couple people on Factnet already and talked on line and on phone with some others and I've enjoyed that. But if I was in a group of 100 or so my head might explode. Kind of like the shell shocked Vietnam Vet...honestly it might be hard for me. I'm sure everyone will have a great time.

The format is not the problem, the problem is that we make endless post of chit chat. I think that we have too much spread too far. Creating obscure post titles to force things to the top is only going to make the problem worse. Soon the important info that vistors need to see will be so far removed and buried that they won't bother to sort through it all.

I think its time to seperate the history and the chit chat. I'm not opposed to the chitchat at all, rather, I think of it as being the threads that hold everything together. It's kind of beautiful when you think of the years some of us spent in silence and shame.

I'm no computer expert but I do know someone that has a good amount of knowlege and he tells me that the volume on FN is not that much cause its text. He says all you need is a server and format the conversation the way you want it. I plan on asking him to set something like that up for us. I have wanted to stay here on FN but the ghost that runs it hasn't replied to my (nice) letter!

Also, I understand that there will be a Fed law enacted soon that will force the person behind web sites to reveal who they are. That means those that run carlstevens.org will have to be revealed. It would also mean, I think, that someone could sue them. I think we should get all the info into one place so those that want 'just the facts' can get them.

Maybe its time we contributed some $$ to pay someone to do some organizing for us. I agree with Jim Belushi.....its really not over yet. The history of TBS/GGWO will either condemn or enlighten those that read it. It will show who have worked for redemption and who have clung to the old ways. Also, showing the faction that wants the place destroyed. I think its important to document all of it. I've lived through the painful process of coming to terms with my own deception and can see those I care about struggling with it now. I would never have seen it unless this info was available.

Even the chitchat. I find it amusing that some are offended by it. I know they believe me to be evil cause of leaving.....maybe I've risen to carnal and worldly! Anyway, it shows personality and character and is a great story of remdemption.

Whatever happens, its important to organize now! Anyone of us have the ability to do that?
