Sunday Morning, sun is rising,
Who knows what a new day will bring.
All those memories, far behind me,
Future, hope, and dreams are everything.

But starting over's never easy...

Sounds like the congregation will be able now to catch up on their sleep...especially if Tom continues to preach...he is just as boring with his stream of consciousness BS preaching now as he always has been.

John Love announces that in an 8 to 0 vote, Tom is now the Chief Elder? If it weren't so tragic it would be funny.

Well, any of us who were hoping for change or reform, there's our answer. I'm just glad everyday the blinders come off a new member or a new pastor and people are waking up and getting out.

One thing I noticed is everytime you tune in to GG, someone is always saying the same thing: "We thank God for this finished work ministry." I mean it's down right robotic, one at a time stepping up to the mike and its "we thank God for this finished work ministry." Do you guys really think you're the only ones? It reminds me of the cats I used to meet at U.Mass, studying Chairman Mao..."The imperialist United States...The imperialist United States..."

Jim, You are right and so funny!
I would like to say however, that there are those connected in a strong way to GGWO, perhaps missionaries that are far away, and for whatever reason.......distance, or because of distance, feel they don't need to be accountable for what their ministry is doing, have not always been kept up to date on where their ministry is at, and what they are doing at home base. Home base, being very important to them but also they are out of touch.
What I've noticed is that if they come to FN, they read and are stunned into disbelief. They focus on the 'profanity' or manner of speaking and get confused as to what is important and what isn't. They lose touch once again because of the stumbling block of many people expressing themselves, where what they are used to, is the leaders only, speak.
Today, I;ve been concerned about those missionaries that are struggling with their own consciences as to whether or not they should read here, or have any connection with the people here or not. But, we know, that the info they need to make an informed decision is here. Or, perhaps those affliated pastors need to find a way to cmmunicate with those far away, so they can be brought up to date and make a decision.
I understand that for years, we (J & I) haven't had the most sterling of reputations, so these missionaries would have no reason to trust what we say. They may feel quite uncomfortable in talking to us. I am making an appeal to all affiliated pastors to set up some forum for communication for them. Also, for those in branch ministries......shouldn't they also be kept informed?
If any of you read this and would speak to me about this I would love to talk to you. I admit, I have a personal interest here and would quickly pass all credit on to a man with a positon or title, or perhaps a cleaner record than I have. My interest is to help. My interest is also representing a few others that would remain anonymous.
If this sounds like a plea, it is.
Pastors....Morin, Graziano, Powell......I promise I will be good and refer to you with politeness and I promise to tell the truth at all times. I promise not to use profanity. I will behave.
Is there anyone out there that would ease my troubled mind?
If so, contact me at
jack dot leonard @ gmail.com
I also promise complete, total, absolute and 100% confidentiality. Honestly, I am not being rude or mocking to you, I am making an appeal because I have no other avenues for reaching you.

I spoke with a friend this morning who decided to go to church after not having attended since all the crap began. She told me that pastor Schaller spoke and that he made no mention of CHS throughout the entire service. She also said that he laid out point blank that a number of affiliates would be changing thier names from having GG in them and he told everyone that we are to treat them with the same love and respect as always, they are our beloved brothers and sisters. She said it sounded a lot different than from the last time she had gone. Could the times be a'changin? CHS is supposed to be there tonight and she is going to go again and see how his presence is handled. I'm not so sure about going back jes yet though. Too many questions and stuff....guess I'll just have to trust God after all....

Someone told me this afternoon of a student who made a decision not to attend another service after Schaller's message this morning. It was classic.. he stated he loved the affiliates and then without using their names stated they were the enemy. It is subtle manipulation meant to discredit anyone who speaks against Tom's new kingdom. Unfortunately, he has a problem because manipulation of facts only works when one is the sole source of the facts. CHS practiced this technique for decades. The students are reading the forum, they are reading the letters of the affiliate pastors, the "pulpit" has stopped being the only voice. With all the information available, this student was able to clearly see the manipulation from the pulpit. I would expect more and more students will be doing the same. They have three weeks left, they need our prayers and support.

Jim, I disagree.

Change and reform are coming. The question is: Will the Baltimore church join in and be a part of the change? It doesn't look like it, but it is too soon to tell. I hope and pray that it will.

Nice to hear from you Imao.

I guess it's all in what you define as change. There was a big meeting at Sandy Cove that defined errors and spelled out reforms. It was shouted down. Roger Stenger was voted in as the new pastor. That was put down. The affiliates are threatening a mutiny if something isn't done, many of them objected to Schallers "installation." Schaller is in and the students and congregation are being told not only that the affiliates are wrong, but that they are going against God Himself. If you were in church this morning than you can tell me yourself if what Jeannie said above and Minutus said on the other Schaller thread is true or not. But that doesn't look like change to me.

In my own experience, pre Factnet, I brought up the big issue in all of this, marking those who disagree. My reputation was destroyed, my character asassinated from the pulpit and in raps, and my friends warned not to talk with me because I was deceived. From what I can tell, they're doing the same thing to the affiliates who are threatening to leave. It's a "conspiracy," and they are being marked. Where's the change? "Does a leopard change his spots?" There is no repentance as suggested by Sandy Cove.

Yes, there is change. People are standing up and speaking out. Their protests fall on deaf ears. If 100 more people walk out of Baltimore this month, that will be change. If 1/3 to 1/2 of the affiliates become "We Are No Longer In Greater Grace World Outreach" that will be a change. If all the people at GG waving their Bibles and taking notes start really studying the Word properly instead of parroting what they are fed from the pulpit and in classes, that will be a change. If GG in Baltimore repents, abandons their siege mentality and realizes that they are a part of the Body of Christ at large, (and a small part at that), that would be a good change.

Imao and Dinaweena, thanks for posting today and you are welcome here.

"But the annointing which you have received of him abides in you and you need not that any man teach you. But as the same annointing teaches you of all things and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, you will abide in him."

Schaller becomes a Jedi knight:

Tom waves his hand: "There are no problems, we are in a Word of God revival."

Waves his hand again: "We are not covering anything up."

"I am the elected Chief Kingdingaling."

"We are following God's man"...say it together now..."We are following God's man"...

Reminds me of God's judgement on Solomon. King Tom settles for the two pieces of the cloak when he could have had all. "The Ministry" is being judged through this division. For those who leave the imperative is to obey God rather than man. Like the offer of God's blessing to Jeroboam, they will be blessed if they obey. More reading Bibles, less waving them.

I'm having a hard time grasping the concept of respecting an authority that closes the door to the truth. I was excited about Sandy Cove because a lot of the things I questioned were addressed and what the Word said about them were made plain. How can we just turn our backs on that because someone says so?

I can imagine it... all but two members of the GG Balt. congregation leave. There's TS in the pulpit still preaching the same stuff. Voices on telephone time (the old Lenox name for Grace Hour)report how God is blessing - the ministry is experiencing amazing growth - it's never been so good - despite Satan's attempts to lead people astray the ministry is on solid ground and those who left are being judged with great afflictions....

Jim-It was I who sold hotdogs...Pastoring a small congregation called Hope Chapel I thought I'd work part time. Not one of my best business decisions or my worst. Lasted a month. The infamous rap session reason to never leave the ministry. The much talked about Porn theater was down the street a hundred yards or so. To the best of my (very limited knowledge) the theater had their own concessions.

I think it could be a movement...sort of an Alice's resturant massacre harmony...how cool would it be to do a straight up legitimate The Bible Speaks booth with old tapes, crossroads magazines, books (booklets really) dress in plaid suits and actually be Beakers...have old Rising Son/Stevens Family (who to this day I think where very cool) music playing. World Outreach Addition Bibles....those visiting GG for the first time may actually buy stuff. Next to it could be a table set up the same way with folks who left over the last couple of years. Put Jim F. on a grill cranking out Tex/Mex. Olivadoti is great on a grill, and we'd pull off a Happy Days version of TBS.

Bruder,

I have an official 'World Outreach Edition Bible'. However, I think that you'll just love Anovus's collection of memorabilia, which you'll see next month.http://www.factnet.org/discus/clipart/wink.gif

Jim F. and Bobby O. on a grill would go over great at the reunion in August. I'll pay to see THAT!!!*LOL*

Daved,

I have absolutely no idea whatsoever if the 'World Outreach Edition' Bible can be purchased at the GGWO bookstore. My copy was a gift to my wife and I that was purchased back in 1978 in TBS bookstore in Lenox.

We have two copies of the WOE Bible - I think one belonged to Pastor Devoid! We also found (in a room remodel) an original copy of "The Bible Speaks Goes on Record" and a copy of the CRI report w/a letter from them to Bobby! We also came across a photo of Bob in front of the old "Ice House" where we lived on the Lee campus. Yikes!

Martin, my man, break out those red dogs - reunion food for sure. Love the idea of t-shirts with "www.factnet.org (http://www.factnet.org)" in neon lime & hot pink!

If you have never tasted flavor-rubbed brisket smoked overnight in a cajun cooker with the liquid pan full of Shiner Bock beer and the burner full of mesquite charcoal and pecan logs...all done by yours truly...your life is not complete.

But I will do the hot dog thing if Marty O'Brien will--and it would be a great honor to meet the Boss Martian.
