NEW GUY needs advice

Hey guys!

well i first got introduced to ggwo abt 3 years ago by a girl i met at camp in the USA Im from N.Ireland, so she started to give me her tapes and wel at first i thought wow these are great and soon i was getting them sent to ireland,

i then visit my girlfriend as she had become at xmas and got the opporunity to visit BALtimore and go to the servies at first was impressed , but when i arrived i just got this feeling thatGod was telling me to be careful. soas i watched the servies and met poeople i just got very un easy abt it! when i saw how Pastor Carl Stevens was treated like a GOd on stage and how ever pastor laughed at his not so funny jokes, then saw him in his bullet proof car and body guards i was like mmm this is weird.

well moving on i dont want to right a book even though i could, so having got involved i decided to go study in Hungaryat there bible college, when i arrived i realise id made a big mistakes i was left to sleep in a cold room witn a bunkbed in a room the size of a ironing cupboard!
i relaised the place was so not right so i i managed to do a runner and make my way to prague ( Czech Rep) and get a flight back to the UK!

that was the ned of my connection with GGWO, though my girl well my ex after she finished with me after some twisting of words from a few girls sucked in by the pastor Love dont date talks.

she since has said i have tunred my back on the truth and on God!! when i questionered her abt Carl stevens and the problems she turned on me like a raging bull!!

i have a guy i no from home who thorugh a girl he met in france moved to batlimore in winter last year and is studying, we have seen such a big change in him and hos family have seen it to and are worried and dont no how to get him out!!

if anyone got any more advie or more info abt whats goes on please get back to me, as im soo intriqued by the GGWO and carl stevens and also i want to give his fmaily and the church he belonged to at home as much info and reliable info!!

The man was baptized by Geezus Christ Himself, did you know that? I hate to say it but Stevens is a crazy lil man with an odd lil hairpiece! I think the hairpiece if what makes him crazy, the glue on his head or something!

I love the ideer of a bulletproof car, who's he think he is the pope? I do love listening to Grace Hour and hearing him slur and sing songs about his name being Vince. Anyone who is willing to praise such and outwardly odd person gets what they deserve!

Hi Glen,

You are so fortunate to only have a short time with GGWO. You went in with "eyes wide open". It is a pity about your friend, but you have to wonder if he KNOWS things are weird there but decided to continue for whatever reason. There are so many weak minded people in the world that "stand for nothing and fall for anything".

Your testimony is inspiring and attests to the true GRACE of GOD who shines light in the darkness and the weirdness! God bless you brother. Also, I LOVE N.Ireland. Have made many trips there and stayed in Sydenham (E. Belfast)back in the 80s. There are so many wonderful christians there and great churches. Some of my fondest memories are of the fellowship there. I miss it and right now can't afford the trip there because the dollar is weak to the pound; but my heart is in "Ulster"!

yeah it did help me to go in with my eyes open and not to belive in everything i was being told by the pastors!!

its saddens me how the young people go to there schools and then all head of to baltimore, and wel the cost of tution there and all the other cost that come with it! i mean i no of ones who couldnt afford to go and rather than GGWo lose them they where given FREE tution, and like my friend who travelled over from N.Irelane they gave him free studies as a taster to see if he like it, so i mean after 1 weeks in GGWO u have at least 3 services, maybe 1 youth meeting, and abt 3 raps, plus the grace hour, so in a months u maybe have been to over 40 sessions with CArl and his pastors! i can see how anyone get brainwashed!

on think that really made my think and wel its maybe cause im a children and youth worker a woman was in one of the raps and carl stevens was twisting his scripture as he does and this womans child was crying only a baby , i saw him give some Plump Pastor as nod and they lady was well forefully removed from the premises!!!

also when i looked abt the church i seen alot a people who had decent enough jobs, but never seem to have any money, yet pastor drove around in big cars. no woneder when they have PAY Cheaque Sunday!!!

and also dont worry im nearly finished, lol was when the missionaries came over people where asked to donate thine to them at the mission all apart from clothes, in africa where millions arew dying and have nothing this pastor would let missionaries recieve secondhand clothes, so he bought them to SEARS and bought them all new gear on HIS CREDIT card ( AKA church funds im assuming).

i do thank God i didn get involved deeper, byut im also glad i experianced it, so that i can be there for any other from my country who might get involved.

aint it funny who relationships between the youth are discouraged yet its ok for affairs to be open lol!!

Great post Glen. I saw them ram that crazy no touch love teaching down kids throats a lot and then to hear about all the adulturous affairs between adults reeks of a double standard. Unfortunately double standards and hypocrisy are what Greater Grace is all about. The top pastors think they can do anything they want and put people under them under way too many rules that make no sense. Then they top it off with the endless brainwashing to strip people of the ability to think for themselves. The pressure to attend every service and youth meeting was excruciating. People who missed a single service etc. were told that God would get them for it. I'm glad you didn't get involved any deeper. At least we're both out and know the real truth. Thank God for that!

Yeha your right, i mean i feel sorry for people in it who are genunine christian but have been decieved, i mean my friend who i met in londopn england a few months ago as im working there told me that i heard the truth and that i should return, ( she is in baltimore MBCS) she said i had heard ant truthg and was tunring my back on God even thought im stil a christian and working as children and youth pastor for another church. she told that if i could jsut take 2 days fow rok and get to hungary to heard pastor Schaller then he would answer all my doubts abt GGWO.

when i quesiton my friend abt carl stevens and the wel if he God mans and i walk away from your church am i rejecting Gods chosen man and she said YES.

I me\n Jesus was God chosen man on earth. Carl steven sint like jesus he dont live among the people in baltimore, jesus didnt have body guards or drive bullet proff mercs and he wasnt running around with etc/ Word is from baltimore is Pastor Scahller could be the next head of GGWO thats what i was told!!!
