Speaking out, telling your story, will help a lot.

Our experience with our children, has been something that has surprised and blessed us. We told them many things. (using discerment and age appropriateness) We had many conversations with others that they overheard. They heard us talk to each other. We talked to them and started conversations, giving them ample opportunity to respond (boys, I find do a lot of grunting and hmmming) Anyway, somehow, they have managed to process a lot of this and have ended up being pretty discerning themselves. Not much gets by them. They are respectful yet don't easily have the wool pulled over their eyes.
As I've said before, they are believers. We play the devils advocate sometimes and are ususally astonished to learn how much they read the word and pray. They seem to have put it into practice in their lives.
Some may worry over their children's spiritual lives, especially if they are like our kids, in that they work in the world. One designs computer games, and one works in finance. I'm not one to be taking the spt'l pulse of my kids too often, but when I do, they show me how healthy they really are. It humbles me and blesses me. It shows me the work of God. I don't mean to give you a spiritual formula to make your child come out good, just a word of encouragement, that telling the truth and keeping things in the light, I believe, has good results. It tends to keep things real. Kids, I find, can relate to that.

I felt like sharing this because, I'm sure the year we decided to leave Lenox, and the LONG journey (so it seemed) to health, effected the boys enormously.

I stand firm, that leaving and going through the process of fully getting out was the best thing we did for ourselves and our boys. I want what is real and right for them in regards to God.

On the flip side of Rho's story I know of a ANOTHER situation where a gentleman gave a great deal of money and attention to a woman named RHONDA at GGWO. She had a son with autism. As a matter of fact, she was a user and a taker, along with "pastor" Stevens. They both bilked this gentleman of every cent of a sizeable inheritance. Interestingly enough Rhonda lost her desire to be around this gentleman AFTER his money was gone?

Guess we can't know what went on behind the scenes eh Stephan and really? If Rho was afraid of his jealous outburts it doesn't really matter how much money he had or didn't have. My friend was not a teacher at GGCA.

However, his girlfriend at the time, Rhonda, was sexually involved with a teacher at GGCA. While simultaneously making whoopie with the father of her autistic son who lives in Georgia.
Evidently, she may have been involved with a pastor she had lived with as well.

My friend was NOT a teacher at GGCA; nor was he married to this woman, nor a pastor.

She has successfully blended several people and incidents into ONE personification.

of course it is stupid for me to comment such stories, but in my understanding money can't buy the love (at least there was a song about it by 4 brits). The story doesn't look like GGWO sexual abuse or something like that. Typical GGWO (or other cults) is when affairs "annointed by God". Thus no need to pay.

This situation is unclear in terms who was really using the other.

One thing is clear, that man was financially used by pastah for sure.

There are some important factors for us to remember...

1. The most kind person in a cult can also be the most cruel. Nothing is as it seems.

2. Men who are allowed to be sexually immoral are not few in number in this cult.

3. The sexual corruption flows from the top down through the ranks.

4. Women are not believed by members and past members of this cult for a very good reason...we all were conditioned/indoctrinated/and taught that women were the wicked... the "strange woman" in Proverbs was the characterization: a woman could tempt you away from your "call." This is pure unadulterated bull**** as it was applied by CHS. A man's lack of self control, morals and the willful breaking of his wedding vows are what tempted a man away from the right thing.

5. The fact that women and children abused sexually in this cult are suspects if they dare to tell their story is not only disgusting but a true view of how male domination in a group works.

6. After all that is known of this cult it is less surprising to hear that a "well respected" man's morals can be questioned.

7. The very reason women and children victims, both past and present, are reluctant to share their horror is that the sorrow people generally feel is that someone they knew turned out to be an abuser....the abused are less thought about, their horror less cared about.

8. The youngest victims have even less of a voice and are not remembered by those who have walked away. No one wants to know, no one wants to hear, no one wants to remember them. They are rape victims, they have been sexually violated by so-called men of God, without restraint, men who hold authority, spiritual power and are still in control.

9. I beg all of you to expose these men before the status quo is entrenched.

I do know who they are speaking about, but cannot speak to any of the particulars of Rho's post, that must have come about after my move to AZ.

Let me say this though, he was given "carte blanc" by Carl, because Carl thought he was going to win his patent cases and be very wealthy. He had infered that GGWO would benfit greatly. I also knew that a relationship with a much younger woman (perhaps this was even before Rho) was beginning and was absolutely not being discouraged.
