Below is a transcription of words that were spoken today in a "Parallel Universe" called "The Grace Hour"

In the "Parallel Universe" called "The Grace Hour" callers call in on the phone and almost always praise GGWO, and the Pastors who are present live on "The Grace Hour" almost always find time to praise Pastor Carl Stevens for what he has accomplished in his almost 50 years of ministry.

Today on “The Grace Hour”, Lillian from Marlboro, Mass. gave her “praise report” of GGWO, and then Pastor Schaller praised Pastor Carl Stevens for several minutes:

>>>
Pastor Schaller: We have Lillian on the phone from Marlboro, Mass

Pastor Love: Go ahead Lillian.

Lillian: Good morning

Pastor Love: Good morning

Lillian: Hi Pastor Love, is that Pastor Schaller with you?

Pastor Schaller: Yuh, it is Lillian

Lillian: Well, Hi. I though I recognized your voice.

Pastor Schaller: Hello, Lillian
>>>

<font color="ff0000">>>>
Lillian: I just wanted to call and sort of more or less give you a praise report today,
because I have had so many blessings since God put me into this ministry.

And many miracles, and many souls have been won.

I love to go out in the street soul winning,
and it’s such a joy,
and I just wanted to thank everyone
because I have grandchildren in this ministry
Pat O’brien and Shara ????,
And they’re looking forward to, Pat is,
to your nice weekend coming up
And I’m so thankful that God has really built those children up in the Lord.

And it’s all because of the messages we’ve received in this church in all the branches,
and it’s the most wonderful church,
and I’ve gone all my life,
But I’ve never been in one that taught me like this one does.

And, I’m just so thankful.
I’ve really been through a lot of valleys and mountains,
but that’s great because we were taught that that’s good,
because all things work together for good.

And I just thank Pastor Stevens for taking me under his wing,
when I first came to the church.

And I have really grown and grown and I never intend to ever leave it,
till God takes me home, to heaven.

So I just want to thank all the pastors and their wives,
that are helping with my family,
And thank all the pastors for all the teaching they have given to us
because it really makes a big difference in our lives,
when we go home and think about what we’ve heard
from the Holy Spirit, and I’ve had many, many miracles.

I’m just thankful,
I’m just bubbling over today with thankfulness to Jesus,
for putting me in this church and I love what every one of you….

<font color="0000ff">>>>
Pastor Schaller: That is such a good word Lillian.
I wonder if pastor is listening to that..
That’s a good word.
He has been such a great pastor, Doctor Stevens.

What he has done by his life,
his heart,
his walk,
his teaching.

How much we have benefited,
where would we be…
and how much God has used him,
to lead us,
to disciple us.

Thousands and thousands of hours of investment
and thousands and thousands of hours of study,
and investment,
and care for us.

That gentle touch of care for us,
in our lives.

What an amazing thing
and who we are,
what we believe,
how we talk to each other,
and how we care for each other,
how important that is,
the love of God in us.

And it is unique,
it is awesome,
I mean we’re not exclusive.

We’re not wanting to be exclusive,
we’re not exclusive,
we’re not saying….
we’re not looking for differences,
but at the same time when you find a good restaurant,
and you really like the food there, then you go back.

And when you’re part of a family,
you’re in a family,
it’s just a family,
it’s your sisters and brothers,
and it’s part of your life,
and you love it,
and the’re just part of you,
and that’s my family,
you know,
that’s my family,
I love my family.

We’re sisters and brothers,
we love our family,
so, we’re in a great family,
and we have love that reigns,
and everything is possible because of our family,
God’s family,
and our particular family,
under our Pastor.

How we thank God for him.

Lillian was about to hang up,
But then decided to continue.

Lillian: Thank you, and I’m just thankful to God for leading me up to this church,
because, you know, I wasn’t getting fed in my own church,
and I’ve learned more in 31 years in this body than I have anywhere.

I really appreciate it. I stand here, I almost cry because it’s so awesome.
It’s hard to take it all in.
It’s so overwhelming.

Um Lillian if you have been in GG all your life how do you even know what other churches teach or act like?

Of course Lillian will never see this post but I just thought it was quite hilarious that she thought she has any authority to judge another churches teachings.

Lillian is 75 years old and is a precious child of God. She has won many to Christ. You on the other hand are a fool.

I don't think anyone is impugning her effectiveness as a Christian or the preciousness of her life. Most of us have and do evangelize and are going forward with God (outside of GGWO). I think what is in question and many find appalling is the indoctrination and mindless adulation of Pr. Stevens and GGWO.

not to mention the continuous accolades heaped on the ministry as though it were the only one that EVER talked about the Finished Work of the Cross...you DO know that GG corners the market on that thought process, don't you? :-)

Nancy- good point!
I had never been to any other church and I was one of those that used to say all the time that what we had at our church is SOOO special- could never be found anywhere else!!
Ah yes ,what a fool I was...

I wasn't questioning that "really" . why don't you read my post before you attack? and if you knew me you would have bit your tongue before you said that.

I never questioned her Christianity at all.

I'm podrido of this sos (same old sh*t too)
Can't these people come up with anything original?
That "FAMILY", as they call "it", didn't do sh*t for me when I was in need! But they sure were anxious for my tithes, free labor and talents to make themselves appear to be legitimate. "sheesh"
Nancy girl, don't worry about what judgemental people think, you're okay in my book!

Hey really, you are welcome here but I am curious about your little, nasty comments every now and then, what's up?

exactly Aurora, that was my point. I had been to other churches and I still was deceived into thinking no church could ever attain to the level of spirituality that GG has.

It never disturbed while I lived in the bubble but now that I have been on the outside looking in and meeting other Christians from other churches I have learned that the FW is not a GG teaching but the very teaching of the Cross and most churches understand it very well.

But when I was in GG we were discouraged from listening to speakers outside because if we were called to "the teaching of the FW" then we should stay under our "covering" or we might get deceived.

I believe that might be termed as the ultimate self righteousness. Imagine any church thinking God won't reveal His Finished Work to anyone but their followers? Sadly I was one who really was a great defender of GG and judger of all other churches who didn't "get it".

I repented.

tks yogi. Factnet has become a family of Bible believing Spiritfilled Christians simply seeking Truth, healing, fellowship and love.

I understand the rejection one can feel in GG. You are only useful if you have money, can give time, are beautiful, etc.

When I was in the Women's Ministry I gave all I could and I loved it because I did it unto God. The Lady's Prayer Chain, working with Linda, Seminars, booths at Convention, soulwinning every Tuesday Thursday and Saturday. I loved it all.

My car was available to all at anytime. When I became ill and was in the wheelchair I still did all I could but when my illness brought to the point of where I became unable to help in Women's ministry, Orphan's First, secretary to 5 missionaries including Pr. Scibelli, my usefulness soon left me all alone.

No phone calls nothing. That is when I started to seek God on what Body life meant. And brotherly love. Even staff members before they were on staff were my friends until they were elevated.

It left me bewildered, hurt, confused, lonely and wondering if God loved me. If the ministry forsook then hadn't God?

It took months for God to break through and now even though I am more ill than ever my complete confidence in our Father is secure.

I am so thankful for all He has brought me through and I know even my time in GG was a growing period.

God never shelves any one of His children whereas GG and maybe other Christians do. All I know is I have not one friend left that goes to GG and that I am marked as an enemy of the ministry.

Even the Duff's dont' email me anymore. And I thought of them as my mom and dad. O well.
'
C'est la vie.

Here is the promise that keeps me now:

2 Timothy 1 "BUT UNDERSTAND this, that in the last days will come (set in) perilous times of great stress and trouble [hard to deal with and hard to bear]."

2 Timothy 3:14 "But as for you, continue to hold to the things that you have learned and of which you are convinced, knowing from whom you learned [them],"

Mercy,

You are on my mind and I am praying for you.

When you said: "No phone calls nothing.", my own heart was broken.

This is the proof of the so called ministry...

"By their Fruits you will know them."

Love,
Isabella

Jim F,
How funny, as I sat here reading this thread all I could think was, Blah, Blah, Blah. Then I saw your comment and Blah, Blah, Blah... LOL!
Isn't it sad that she can think of GGWO and Jesus in the same sentence? Kinda makes me want a turn with the "Puke Bucket" !

Thanks, But my Pastor told me he was doing it before he did it. He's still a friend of Pastor Stevens. He just is not involved in the turmoil there. It's not our affair. He spoke of Dr. Stevens this morning in church as a dear friend. Boasting about how Dr. Stevens taught him to soul-win.

Mercy,

Wait a second!

I want to meet you too, but, I'm not exactly ready for Heaven yet.

Could you just wait a few years on my part?

Why not start thinking about going to the reunion and we can meet there?

I'll go if you do.

My love to you...glad you are well enough to post

Ready - calling anyone a fool is very dangerous position to be taking. (Mt 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.)

And to call a woman of God like Nancy one, back off, you are off base.

Nancy - congratulations! Kathleen and I went up to hlkpe John and Patty pack out yesterday and she told us that the medical company let you have the matress at a greatly reduced cost. AWESOME!!!!

Blessings,
