Below is my transcription of the first part of Pastor Schaller's May 1, 2005 message. Hopefully I have not made too many errors in this transcription.
<font color="ff0000">>>>
Pastor Schaller: That message, thank you sir, that was a very good message.
Wasn’t that a good message? Boy.
The Holy Spirit used Pastor Jeff this morning to speak to us,
as he did also yesterday,
and then with the ladies it was shared yesterday as well.
This morning I would like you to turn to John 16 verse 13.
This will not be long, but important.
This has been great morning…am I looking a Marty O’Brien?
Marty, I cannot, Wow
Wow, that’s awesome
Thank you for coming here, Wow
How many know Marty?
Oh boy, would you like to stand just for a minute, and wave your hand.
Good to have you.
Boy…..Wow
Thirty years ago he and I went over to Finland,
and thirty years later here we are.
OK
In John 16 verse 13,
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth:”
And this is the passage Jeff shared,
and we happen to be referring to the same verse.
So this has been by meditation for two weeks.
And think about, how the Holy Spirit, in this world, guides us into all truth.
For we have an anointing in First John 2:20.
and we are taught by the Holy Spirit, who is the anointing.
And Jesus Christ came as the anointed one,
and he said “I am the way, the truth, and the life”
It is an amazing privilege…..we also would be anointed,
and that the Holy Spirit would be sent into the world as our teacher,
as our comforter.
It’s not clear that He would guide us into all truth.
Even after we leave our body,
it is for sure that the Holy Spirit will continue,
and reveal to us for ever and ever, in Ephesians 2:10,
He will reveal to us over and over for ever and ever into infinity, eternity,
the true nature of God.
This is what we have loved this weekend,
that we have sensed,
and during the past week or two weeks or…
we have sensed the Holy Spirit.
And this is so important to us as believers
because we know in the world there are many voices in First John 2:4-6
There are many words,
many motivations,
many hearts,
different hearts, same heart,
the heart of Adam, the first Adam,
and the heart of the second Adam.
And there are also many spirits.
We are discerners of the spirits in First John 4:1
There are many lives (??? or maybe many lies),
many voices,
that come even from our own soul
our own heart,
our own lives.
And this verse here is an amazing part of the picture
that is so important to us as a church.
Because I am afraid, left to myself,
I’m afraid what I could do, left to myself, by my own self,
I’m afraid what I could do, what I can think, and what I can say,
as Pastor Jeff shared.
Ten spies, two spies,
ten and two.
The disciples,
one cross virtually no disciples,
a woman and another woman and then John.
Great odds are against us
and that’s a very good starting point.
Because our church is unique,
Not….it shouldn’t be and perhaps it isn’t
but in my personal experience
I’m very appreciative of our church.
And I
[Applause]
And I …
[Applause]
And I don’t say that out of an exclusivity.
I’m not trying to suggest that we are exclusive.
We are not.
How can the hand say to the foot “I have no need of you“
???? The believers in the Sudan who are now being killed and murdered for their faith.
We need the believers in Iran who are thrown in jail.
We need the believers in Russia, and in China and around the world,
for they are members of our body, our flesh and our bones.
But we have learned that there is really no fellowship without the Holy Spirit.
There really is no truth without the Holy Spirit revealing it to us.
There really is no real deliverance for ourselves, unless God gives it to us.
There is no real change unless God is the author of that change.
And there is really no real message unless God gives us the message.
That’s a very important principle of life for us.
Because God has played a trick on the human race.
He threw us a curve ball.
He [maybe “We”] thought it was a straight pitch and it curved.
He showed us something and it wasn’t what we expected.
He came here as a baby and we expected a King.
He spoke in the temple at the age of twelve, as a little boy,
but He had such insight,
He was so, so clever,
He was so wise,
He had so much understanding.
Yet we expected it from a Rabbi, a professor, but we heard it from a child.
We expected the kingdom to come, but instead we have a cross.
We expected the church to be perfect, but instead we find imperfect people.
We expected people to satisfy us, and please us, but instead we find disappointment.
God is in that.
God is in all of this.
He threw us a curve ball.
You know why?
Because he knows how (???) slow we are.
How smart we are.
How, how clever we are.
And He said in effect:
“No, nope…..nope, not going to happen….I’m not going to reveal Myself to the proud.”
“I’m not going to give, I’m not going to show my ways, unless there is humility”
“And I will not pour my Spirit out upon any believer,
unless I find that believer at the cross.”
Where there is a surrender and an understanding that my ways are not right,
and I would rather lose my life to gain His.
I would rather lose my opinion to gain His wisdom.
I’d rather lose my words to gain His Word.
I’d rather know Him, then to know myself.
So this verse, read it with me, verse 13:
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth:”
He will not guide you,
and let’s get this straight because He is not impressed with any of us.
Let’s get that straight.
He’s not impressed with your track record.
He’s not impressed with your ability.
He’s not impressed with your portfolio.
He’s not impressed with your name,
your..what’s the thing, your, your genealogy?…the tribe of Benjamin.
Like Paul said in Philippians 3.
He’s not impressed with our wisdom and our talent,
our prestige,
our reputation,
He’s not impressed with us.
He isn’t.
He is not.
How is my Holy Spirit and my Holy Spirit will guide me into all truth
But mark the proud in James 4:6
And that pride,
and we’ve heard from Doctor Stevens
and his amazing teachings and insight on the 28.…
[???? garbled transmission from media player ????]
…the humble looking guy,
who just is a wallflower,
just very humble looking,
as proud as anything before the eyes of God
You judge on the outward but I know the heart in I Samuel 16:7
Some misunderstand our assertiveness,
our spiritual authority,
and our privileges in the Kingdom of God,
as a kind of pride and a kind of arrogance.
But those people need to be careful:
Judge not lest you be judged… Matthew 7:1,
because humility is really summed up with absolute surrender,
obedience and trust in God,
and the Holy Spirit giving us His nature moment by moment
And God needs leadership on the earth,
the right kind,
that’s the Holy Spirit kind.
(Applause)
Right?
(Applause)
Verse 13.
For He shall speak not of Himself … the Holy Spirit.
Whatever He shall hear, that shall He speak.
And He will show you things to come.

The Holy Spirit's not impressed with our legacy either.

Just a few questions.
What setting on the blender did Tom's brain go through?
Does GGWO thinks Tom Schaller is going to keep people interested and awake during service?
(A wondering mind first starts counting the ceiling tiles, then, counting the people falling asleep in service vs. the ones drawing pictures.)
Also, why are they STILL calling Carl, DOCTOR Stevens?
Does not everyone know he bought this Doctorate from the Clarksville School of Theology, which was a diploma mill?
(Perhaps he found the time in between raps to study and get his college degree, Master's, then finally, his Doctorate?)

what kind of annoiting is that?
i think tom took one too many hits of acid in his younger day.. either that or his brain went into deep freeze all those years in finland.
damn thats a bunch of crapulous nothingness.
the sad part is that the people who hear this go back to the same bat channel same bat time every week to this... who is in possession of the community puke bucket? hand it this way!

Whats all this "wows" and "amazing" stuff?. The sermon was to whip up the crowd and convince himself that he is "amazing". Very unconvincing!

The sad thing is that he really thinks he is the one.
He thinks he has done nothing wrong and I like how he keeps using judge not least you be judged but then in his sermon says it's not in your geneology (meaning the Stevens sons)or it's not for the proud(meaning all those including churches who have disaffiliated, common body wake up. I think there are psychological terms for this mans kind of thinking. I'd like to know how he views proud.I mean everyone in the staff there if not sucking up to him are viewed as evil we all know this, he does it himself so he really should'nt be using the statement "judge not least ye be judged" and again the Bible does say judge with righteous judgement.
If you were around his faithful followers just a little you would see that they view tons of people as evil including the dissafiliated church pastors, no matter how much they say they love him.
Their a group on a mission, I just don't know to where. Have they forgotten that everyone who recieved Christ and left are not evil, just want to get away from the pride spirit there.
It does say in Proverbs if a ruler is infected all those under him will be.
God how do you break through to him or his followers that we are all in the race to see our saviour and to learn of Him all the way. It may just be somewhere else, but we are learning and God still our God and He loves all of us.

Thye jsut need to consult "the whole counsel of God's Word."
"For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again" (Mt 7:2)
I, for one of many on here, am fully prepared to be judged by the same standard. I am now a pastor with a healthy group, and I do stand accountable to that verse and a whole lot of men in the affiliation. And, from what I have heard, so are all the pastor who are currently departing! The only ones I see who are not prepared to be judged are CHS, TS and the loyal entourage of pastors(?)!http://www.factnet.org/discus/clipart/angry.gif Yet they are doing a WHOLE LOT OF JUDGING!
Give it a break Tom Schaller, you are judging a lot of people, and you WILL BE JUDGED!

" God is still with us and loves us all."
There are many psychological terms to describe authoritarian leaders who feel that they are on a special mission from God: Narcissist, Sociopathic, Psychotic, and Paranoid to name a few. There are many examples of this type of personality, they're not just in the church but in politics, entertainment, and in the work place. Everyone exists to serve their purpose and for no other reason. They can't see anyone or anything apart from themselves. I've learned to avoid them. Especially when I hear these words: "God told me...God showed me."
Has anyone seen the movies ALI or MALCOM X? Both stories are biographies which give great insight into a cult called The Nation of Islam. Their leader,"The Prophet" Elijah Muhammed used many of the techniques discussed on Factnet, including marking and shunning. There is an eerie scene in Ali where Cassius X visits with Elijah, who is constantly shrouded with assistants and security people. There's also a scene where Ali and Malcom X meet in Africa and are having this little reunion when Ali's countenance changes and he says: "Why did you speak against the Prophet Elijah Muhammed?", then turns and walks away. I found both films to be very insightful.
"There's nothing new under the sun."

Is Tom calling descernment judging? It sounds like it'
Does he mean God only speaks through delegated authority? Does he mean we are all underlings and totally dependent on them? I think the problem of the whole ministry from the start is being exposed. With the "top gun" no longer in control they are rudderless. They don't know how to put Jesus at the helm. They never did is there anyone there who can? What about Bruce? What about Stengel? Carl S.must know the problem. Shaller is clinging to his coat tails. Whats it going to take to stop the hemmoraging? Surely Jesus has a way. Another Sandy Cove? Prayers!

Tom began his message with:
"In John 16 verse 13,
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth:”
What did the rest of that gobbledegook have to do with this verse?
Now there is the mind of a great Bible expositor at work...

Have read.. Posted on Sunday, May 01, 2005 - 11:46 am:

Did anyone see them put that poor naive man from Dallas up to PRAISE GGWO on the internet service today? pathetic
And what's with Jeff and Nancy Phelps preaching at GGWO "homebase" if their home church in Tacoma headed by Tom Powell, is disaffiliating?
I am very disappointed in them for not taking a stand and boycotting GGWO in EVERY way!
Did anyone listen to T. Schaller's double entant this morning during GGWO church service? He sounds just like his mentor using Jesus' precious word to justify himself and his practices! Where is the true recognition and repentance for his subversive tactics of getting himself elected as Chief Elder and forcing Stenger's resignation? He wants the affiliates but he doesn't abide by the SC? What a hypocrite!
TS QUOTE: "I'm not going to share my spirit with the proud..."
Another words Tommy Boy you are not going to repent and speak the truth in love. How can you say these "godly platitudes" and not repent of your subversive tactics of dealing with Paul Stevens, Lewis (not that he didn't do his own share of destroying lives too), Steve Stevens, Gerry Graziano, Skip Wood, Mark Morin, Roger Stenger and many others!
TS QUOTE:"28 kinds of pride Doctor Stevens taught us..."make that 29 Tommy Boy. No, you have your own "special" brand of pride!
TS QUOTE: "Judge not least you be judged?" Aren't you judging those who are exposing the truth about YOU and your minions despicable acts of secret raps etc, etc. to get you "elected" as CE Tommy Boy?
TS QUOTE: "For he shall speak not of himself..."
*twist* those scriptures Tommy Boy, so you won't have to be accountable.
TS QUOTE: "The thing I am most concerned about is our spirituality as a fellowship...concerned about our self-sufficiency..."
*twist" some more with subtle inferences and lies Tommy Boy! You should be concerned about your self-sufficiency because if you don't come clean there will probably be only three churches as affiliates: Hungary, Pastor Matti's and Pastor Morrison's.
TS QUOTE: "This fellowship is unique (GGWO?)"
*twist* Is it? Perhaps you're right Tommy Boy, after all, it's one of the few churchs with NO accountability, misuse of tithes and offerings and continued, unrepentant subversion to run things!
TS QUOTE: Act's description of the New Testament church...
*twist* you must stay at GGWO because it's JUST like the N.T. church... NOT!
TS QUOTE: "Are they interested to know God Almighty will meet my greatest need?"
*twist* If you question or leave GGWO it was infered one is NOT interested in knowing God and the that one doesn't believe HE will meet one's greatest need, so DON'T think and DON'T question my spiritual insights and authority, otherwise, I will know you don't want to know God and see Him as your sufficiency...Tommy Boy YOU'RE A LIAR!
TS QUOTE: "Fundamental error in all of our lives is that sleeping, creeping pride..."
*twist* TAKE A GOOD, LONG LOOK IN THE MIRROR TOMMY BOY!
Tommy Boy continued to twist facts and infere many things; all beautifully, "exegeted" from scripture out of context. He summarized his "beautiful" "broken" sermon with accusations of jealousy...*twist* *twist*
PLEASE! Yes, we are jealous of all you deceived who are being manipulated by charlatans.
Tommy Boy, DON'T use God's beautiful word to justify your secret, hateful actions...HOW DARE YOU!
No Tommy Boy, God is permitting this...remember 'if a man's ways are pleasing to the Lord even his enemies will be at peace with him.' Read on Tommy Boy, many enemies are NOT at peace with you, Carl Stevens or the two-faced elders of GGWO!
TS QUOTE: "Speak according to my flesh I will never become what I should be...
*twist* Those on FACTNet are speaking according to THEIR flesh so they will NEVER become what they should be spiritually. Tommy Boy hides behind the words of the Bible to induce fear and to protect himself from having to admit to wrong doings or tell the truth about the lack of spiritual, financial and personal accountability of Carl Stevens, the perversion and twisting of scripture for the advantage and continuance of an abusive church system!
Very subtle abuse and these poor abused dummys continue to believe charlatan numero dos! Please run into the arms of Jesus in a NON-abusive church system, PLEASE!

It's probably simple indoctrination of children. Take their soft, entreatable minds and fill it with the stuff the leaders want in there.

The sad thing is the congregants probably think God is really doing something big bringing someone back after 30 years.
They are told it's revival time.
God is doing something really big!
It just may not be what some perceive it as or even I for that matter, but He sure knows.
I have to say all that is going on breaks my heart. I laid in bed last night weeping for the people I know who are very confused with all that is going on, their whole life being shattered.
And I wonder at times why God would allow all this in His plan.
This is when I really have to think on His word, the verse brought to mind is in Isaiah 55:8 "My thoughts are not yours neither your ways my ways".
Proverbs 3:5+6 has never meant so much to me in all my life than these present days "trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path".
I think many of us here have probably had to trust God more in our life than ever, and this is probably what He wants, to be our God, to really be all in all to us.
Starting over is never easy, but we have this great assurity, that God has never and will never change. He is our stabililty.
We can rest assured knowing that He is the same yesturday today and forever.
Sometimes we can only speak this by faith, but God knows our heart.
His thoughts towards us are never evil, for He desires to give us of His kingdom.
Luke 12:32 Fear not little flock for it is your Fathers good pleasure to give you of His kingdom

Pressing On,
Walking away from GGWO is actually walking into the "Spirit Led Life." It will amaze you as you process this experience how many times the Spirit was speaking during your GGWO days. Yes, the trust in men is seriously damaged from this experience but the revelation of how close and how personal Jesus Christ is increases. I now can look back and see time after time the Holy Spirit was nudging to see me things that were not of Him within TBS/GGWO. The uniqueness of this whole saga was most of us were really doing "God" even in the midst of a cultic church system. And He never left us.. The Holy Spirit sent red flag after red flag and we just continually stuck them in our pockets. At some point each one of us had our pockets overflowing with red flags which we could ignore no more. Those red flags signify the patient loving God who was always with us. What a personal Savior we have! God Bless you dear friend! In the midst of the tears and the heartache and this sense of loss, there is this wonderful God and also wonderful people of God waiting to refresh you walk. It is very freeing and very healing!

Jeannie, thank you for your encouragement
Almost all of my family is still in, hope they see those red flags and don't ignore them.
They take the whole thing hook, line, and sinker.
They know things but choose not to believe them at this point.
The one thing I thank God for is that they still talk with me. I know far to many people who have lost friends and family due to the fact they are supposedly evil and left their Pastor teacher, and call.
The second institution of God, family comes before church, I thank God my family believes that one and doesn't listen to anyone else on that.
Though they still don't like the thought of me not being in Greater Grace anymore. I'm sure you have all heard that at some point.
Have a great day all!

Some of us have experienced a great blessing to get reconnected and reaquainted with those that at some point, decided they couldn't talk to us anymore. To me, this is a work of the grace of God, its wonderful and very valuable to me.
I hope that will be your story as well. I know your heartache for your family and will pray God will heal and take it away.
I will have a great day! God is at work.

05-05-2005, 05:31 PM
Amen Lee!
Pressing On,
I have been where you walk right now. There was a time when I was the only one in my family who had their blinders removed. The ministry caused us a great deal of heartache because of this issue.
Again, I can speak for the faithfulness of God. Slowly, one by one, each began to see. This was not primarily because I was forcing their blinders off, it was the work of the Holy Spirit. It is a slow patient working and any effect I had on them came from me listening to the Spirit. When to speak and when to remain silent and just pray for them. It was trust in God that gave me the patience to let Him do the work and not me.
At one point last year only my married daughter and her husband remained at GGWO. There was nothing I could say to her without a huge wall going up. They were very happy at GG, had many close friends within that circle of young parents. Meagan Veader being one of them. But without us saying anything to them, they began to see they were being marked just because they were Byrne/Sutorius's. The final straw for my daughter was the Sunday morning she walked the security booth with her newborn in the infant carrier. Security glared at her as if she was a criminal.. and that was it.. they finally saw things for what they were and left.
There are many of us who have similar stories. Friends who have led friends out.. GGWO is run like a Communist country but God does not work that way. Each individual's walk is connected to another individual. There is an exchange of the spirit and we have fellowship one with another. Your family sees God in you and as you exit that exchange is still present. It touches their spirit and a light is turned on. They start examining their own red flags and begin to hear the Spirit's voice themselves. And the process begins for them also. And though FN and exposing the lie is important, the real work is done by the Holy Spirit and our exchange life with one another which brings the results. This is very powerful and no man or man-made system nor clever damage control can stop this from happening. And this process has been happening for decades in TBS/GGWO. Just on a larger more public scale this past year. Keep praying and believing Pressing On, we will all be praying with you...

Keep "Pressing On!" It does take faith, and it is a process.
Hey Bruder 5, how was the attendance Sunday morning?

Too bad that the "Stories" thread isn't nearer the top of the list - that is a wonderful collection of tales... good fodder for a newly awakened struggler!

They know alot of the truth but continue to fight it.
I really believe in my heart that someday they will be out.
They don't really care for Schaller, but say if thats who God put there we have to honor him. I believe they are going to hang and there and see what God does.
I think the whole leaving your call thing has a hold on them.
As one said "you don't just leave your church over a few doctrinal differences, you'll find that anywhere".
They won't read the Sandycove Documents, they believe they are evil. Wonder who they heard that from.
Still praying God will reveal more and more to them, not just facts, but that the spirit devouring people down there right now is not of God's heartbeat.
Praying for my family and all who attend there that God will break through.

There are doctrinal differences. Say pre-tribulation vs. mid-tribulation rapture. People might argue very strongly about that. Or say in the Roman Catholic Church where they say birth control is wrong, but 3/4 of their membership use it. It's like "don't ask, don't tell."
At Greater Grace these guys claim to speak for God. Think about that for about 10 minutes. What they say comes from THE ALMIGHTY and therefore you'd better do what they say. Big difference.
I haven't had the experience with family that you are talking about. It must be hard. Maybe something will happen that will help them come around. It must be hard.

A: "How is my Holy Spirit and my Holy Spirit will guide me into all truth."
What is the meaning of "MY Holy Spirit"??? We cannot own the Holy Spirit, who is the member of the Trinity, we are only HIS TEMPLES that should be clean of all sin and filth! And the will of the Holy Spirit is told in the Bible, no where else!!! So I feel that the Holy Spirit is not the same in pastor Schaller that is described in the Bible, because the true Holy Spirit always raises to the throne Jesus Christ, nobody else.
A: "And that pride,
and we’ve heard from Doctor Stevens
and his amazing teachings and insight on the 28.…"
Schaller is a follower of man, not Jesus, because he does not honor Jesus, instead "Doctor" Stevens.
A: "Some misunderstand our assertiveness,
our spiritual authority,
and our privileges in the Kingdom of God,
as a kind of pride and a kind of arrogance."
Your spiritual authority is nothing more than suggestive persuasion and the results of that are horrible, so much hurts and splittings have occurred after you forgot to test the spirits.
A: "But those people need to be careful:
Judge not lest you be judged… Matthew 7:1,
because humility is really summed up with absolute surrender,
obedience and trust in God,
and the Holy Spirit giving us His nature moment by moment"
To use the Holy Scripture as a deterrent is not acceptable and by this way Schaller has an influence on his listeners to steal their souls under fear of man by demanding total surrending to CHS and him. Christ does not nead surrenders, he calles us his FRIENDS. And FRIENDSHIP with JESUS makes us to put his Word at the first place, to love God with all our hearts and our neighbor as ourselves. If you are a true friend with Jesus NO ODD THINGS will happen to you, all is known by God. If there are ODD THINGS happening to you, those feelings are truely the feelings satan wants to deliver to you, not God. Obedience in the congregation means obedience in first hand to the Word of God, then next obedience to the elders decision and the congregations meetings decisions. The elders decided to set Carl H. Stevens aside, so his opinions of his successor is not valid, because he is ill and fallen away from the truth. Jesus himself told to watch the fruit of those who claim to be his "followers", if the fruit is no good, we should not follow those deceivers.
