View Full Version : Why does GGWO use a King James Bible that God does not appreciate

The question being raised on this thread is why does GGWO continue to use a King James Bible in the pulpit, when Pastor Carl Stevens has preached that God does not appreciate an Evangelical Bible that calls Him "JEHOVAH".

Obviously the King James Bible is an Evangelical Bible that calls God "JEHOVAH".

To be redundant:
Why would a ministry that claims to be doing God's will on the planet earth, continue to use an Evangelical Bible that calls God "JEHOVAH" after their anointed pastor tells them that God does not appreciate it.

Why would Pastor Carl Stevens continue to preach with a King James Bible in his hands [he does] if Yahweh used Him to tell his congregation that He [Yahweh] does not appreciate that particular Bible.

PASTOR CARL STEVENS AND GGWO HAVE REJECTED ALL THREE MEMBERS OF THE HOLY TRINITY AS THEY ARE FOUND IN THE KING JAMES BIBLE.

WHY DON'T PASTOR CARL STEVENS AND PASTOR TOM SCHALLER BOTH JUST REJECT THE ENTIRE KING JAMES BIBLE.

WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY? WHY?

IS IT BECAUSE THE KING JAMES BIBLE IS THE ONLY ENGLISH CHRISTIAN BIBLE THAT HAS A PEDIGREE?

P.S.

Both Pastor Love and Pastor Scibelli both made known their belief that God's name is "Yahweh" on Monday's edition of The Grace Hour.

You sound like one of those old 45 records that would skip at the same spot everytime it was played. The only way to fix that old scratched record was throwing it away and getting a new one. Unfortunately they don't make them anymore. Do they even make record players anymore? I hope someday you get the answers you have been searching for daved.

itstimetomoveon,

You sound like a person who is unwilling to criticise what Pastor Carl Stevens and Pastor Tom Schaller are doing, when they both stand in the pulpit with a KJV in their hand, which neither one believes is The Word of God.

If you doubt that they use the King James Bible, just listen to the recent messages that are posted on the GGWO Library for free.

They both stand in the pulpit with a King James Bible in their hand,
claiming to be Bible Believers,
but they do not believe their own chosen Bible,
which they are holding in their hands,
is actually "The Word of God"

They pretend to be holding "The Word of God",
in their hands, but in fact they look elswhere for "The Word of God"
when ever they mention God's name.

And the place they look to as the source of God's presumed name "Yahweh", is not the extant Greek or Hebrew scriptures, rather it is the uninspired Greek writings of Clement of Alexandria.

P.S. Just in passing 3 speed record players are making a comeback. Teenagers are finding those old records in their parent's attics and want to hear that old sound.

My point was that you have not been able to get over this issue about who and what the proper pronunciation of God's name is. I can't criticize anyone about this subject I've got no clue. This subject has been argued well long before any Christian church. Maybe Gods name is to be a personal one between each individual child of His.

itstimetomoveon,

The question has changed slightly since Pastor Carl Stevens stood in the pulpit with a King James Bible in his hand and told his congrgation that God does not appreciate an Evangelical bible that calls Him [i.e. God] JEHOVAH.

Why in heavens name is Pastor Carl Stevens standing in the pulpit with a King James Bible in his hand, while telling his congregation that God does not appreciate the very bible he is preaching from.

Something is rotten in Denmark.

Either Pastor Carl Stevens does not know he has a King James Bible in his hand,
or else the God who Pastor Carl Stevens claims is annointing his message does not know he is standing in the pulpit with a King James Bible in his hand.

AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH

The Masoretets added vowel points to the Hebrew Text which had no vowels.

The Hebrew texts (Masoreticic Texts) that underly our English Translations have vowel points.

6518 times the underlying Hebrew of the Old Testament of the KJV spells God's name as "Yehovah", from whence comes "JEHOVAH"

Pastor Carl Stevens and most of modern scholarship do not believe that the Masoretes placed the actual vowel points of God's name above and below the actual Hebrew consonants of God's name. [i.e. YHWH]

Thus a controversy exists as to what God's name actually is.

However Pastor Carl Stevens is on record, on The Grace Hour, as acknowledging that he trusts in the Greek writings of Clement of Alexandria for the name "Iaoue" = "Yahweh".

The question though is why does Pastor Carl Stevens continue to use the King James Bible after God personally tells him that He doesn't appreciate his [Pastor Carl Stevens'] King James Bible, because it calls Him [i.e. God] JEHOVAH.

Howz 'bout YHVH?

I got some good "Jewish words": Mishuganah, Mishagos, Farukht, Fashimmeled, Famisshedah, Facockhtah, Fapishtah, Flabunjent and kockamaymie. Sometimes the Mishpuckha can be a little Mishuganah!
