Let consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by a human. In fact, I do not even judge myself. For I know of nothing against myself, yet I am not justified by this; but He who judges me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one's praise will come from God. Now these things, brethren, I have figuratively transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that you may learn in us not to think beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up on behalf of one against the other. For who makes you differ from another? And what do you have that you did not receive? Now if you did indeed receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

Is there a point you are trying to make or is the question "Is there any point in asking you if there is a point."
Can't you just tell us what you are using the scriptures to say? What is your angle because parroting is not what God desires of you. Reasoning and dialogue are so important and you are being robbed of the fullness of joy if all you can do is quote. Commentary is not a sin and all of us are not your enemy. I could tell you how much I love the verses you shared and why but even under the old CHS pulpit we were told condemnation was not of God and that there is only one true judge. I hope dear person, and I mean that, that you will find the inner wherewithal to confront the one dimensional religiousity that keeps you from true freedom in Christ. I know I am a sinner and I see it as the greatest opportunity to be loved unconditionally.
Won't you please share what is in your mind and heart, no one will begrudge you that.
You are building a house on shifting sand if you won't go beyond using the word as a hammer.
Are you afraid of your feelings and ideas. They won't hurt you if you face them with God's love as a safety net.

Could somone please translate. Is longstep trying to convey a message or is it just venting at whoever about whatever.Long step you need to take a few deep breaths and understand that no-one here is your enemy and i mean that, I've read this site for3 mos before i even posted and found no-one to be in complete disregard of anyone else, but you must break down what you are trying to convey and for what purpose unless you don't want a reply, you just want to hear yourself talk so to speak.

could it be that longstep is trying to tell us that we recieved teaching from ggwo, and we use that teaching as if we didnt recieve it from them?????

i would like to say. if my above post is true then longstep, no, i recieve from the spirit and i test the spirits and i judge what man says to me by the spirit and i pray that God would convince and covict me of the TRUTH.and that that which is not of the Spirit would burn away like dross.

have you heard any boasting here? There is as we talked about today, the Spirit that bares witness with our Spirit, not only that we are the children of God, but also it is that same witness that gives you that twang that says "Hey wait one minute, That wasn't of ME" The word even tells us in 1Jn 5:9 "if we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater. Did I receive from GG. You bet I did, and I'll be the first to say so., As I stated before but I will say it for the benefit of Mr Long. In any ministry, until we are raptured there will be inperfections. Let God be true and every man a liar. So in knowing this we go into the house of the Lord and expect that we are going to be eating some chicken, but yet with the chicken there are always some bones. The reason I believe many left including myself is that the amount of bones started out numbering the amount of chicken. Therefore let me speak for myself, I started to choke on the bones because they overwhelmed me and I thought it best to get out before I died spiritually. I always went there looking for the Life of the Lord. I wasn't one who sat around oooohhhhing and aaaaahhhhing every message.You can ask anyone who sat around me during one of those isn't this guy the greatest thing since Jesus talks, followed by the traditional standing ovation, I sat in my seat 90% of the time. I figure if we cheer louder for our football team than we do for Jesus, something isn't right there. In my 8-9 years there I can only remember really maybe a couple of dozen messages that really seemed altogether from God himself. Meaning very annointed messages. Now at convention which I attended maybe 5 out of 8 I heard more annointed messages there then I did from the pulpit. I believe this was because these Pst's came off the mission field and hadn't been under the cloud as much as those who lived at Home Base.I'm not saying this has to be for everyone, but this is how it was for me." What do I have that I did not receive" Easy answer, nothing, but the real question is; Who did I receive it from? and to that I will answer, the sweet, sweet Holy Spirit.

no no boasting only some hurt and some angry and some trying to use FN as an outlet to get some answers about tough questions they had.
you know ive made some posts about type communication but i will say this. to the benifit of the one who always gets an answer to a question from a pastor or friend that seems really light because you are in front of someone when they answer, this is a good outlet to ask being that most people are anons and will give it to you straight wether you like it or not.
