During the last few months I have heard people say things like "look at our doctrinal statement we are not off." and "We are just an evangelical church" or here is my favorite "we are just a conservative evangelical church and people have a problem with our traditional christian ideas"
I admit from the outset I am a moderate Christian and I think I can tell a liberal or a conservative pretty fast. There is nothing that makes people attack GGWO for its beliefs just because it is just these so called things.
The next wonderful line I hear is:
"Who says we are a cult? The groups that do are not Christians, or they are not Evangelical Christians, or they are not Conservative Evangelical Christians..........
Please!!!!!!!!

Maybe a $1000 reward with a picture of Carl Stevens will do the trick?

A doctrinal statement doesn't mean anything if the people don't live according to the Bible. It is just mere words, and words don't mean anything if one's life doesn't reflect them. That is the material point of James when he speaks about one's faith being dead if it is not shown by one's works. I do pity all of these people who so desperately try to cling to an illusion.

Saddly enough, that is the norm in todays society.People would rather live a lie than pay the cost to live in the Truth.

Imagine all the people with good intentions, inside and out being fooled?
Its painful for me to think. My family makes up part of that pain.

My sister is one of those decieved ones that believe in never questioning "the pastor."
Refuses to listen at all.
She can't refuse the power of prayer though.
Thank God.

Its so sad so many don't see any deception, but you would think the signs of the last 2 years would convince.
All the loss, all the people who they said were good people are now supoosibly bad people. All the things that were good are supposibly not.
The Missionary, The Bible College, The Church, all of them have none of the so called proofs that God is in it, as they use to say.
