An interesting Phone call

I have to put this out there as a sort of inquiry.
I just received a phone call from someone close to me that thinks that Carl Stevens is dead.

The reason they think this might be the case is a message they got from GGWO in the last week.
It was by Tom Schaller and referred to "great men of God who have died."
Though not directly stated,inferance was made to Carl's passing.I have no idea as to the veracity of this but taking all things into concideration,it might be true.

My "source" said that Tom mentioned Carl was no longer with us.This was after stating that Carl was elderly and infirm.
Schaller said that he wanted to give honor to the "founder and president" of GGWO.

Presently having no way to confirm this as factual put the question out there,"is Carl Stevens still alive?"
Who would know and how do we confirm this?

Pastor Carl Stevens spoke live on The Grace Hour on Thursday November 10, 2005.

He was troubled about something and he mentioned that Christians should be faithful to the Bible.

During the Wednesday evening service [November 9, 2005] Pastor Schaller had spoken about how Satan can not touch the Bible believing believer.

Concerning Satan, Pastor Schaller said:

How do we know he is not getting help? Obviously he is still alive, so God isn't finished with him or ready for him yet.

Maybe we could all learn a lesson about jumping to conclusions when we are not absolutely certain of the facts. Since CHS doesn't make too many public appearances, most know little or nothing of his condition. I'm sure his confidants don't give any negative reports other that he is ill and in pain.

Somehow I think his death won't be kept secret. He is the "pope" of GGWO and most likely receive a lavish funeral (sorry; "face to face") by his followers.

The conclusion thing is why I put the question out.I didn't think he had passed on but my "source" was questioning the context of the message they got.
It gave the impression that he had.
Then again,impressions are just that.Inconclusive.

Pope is a good way to put it.I can understand wanting to "honor" someone but it has to be in a way that doesn't take away from the Lord's Glory and elevate a man above reasonable status.

All honor belongs to the Lord anyway no matter what the case.What would we be without Him?
Never mind that,I don't even want to think in those terms."Without Him."

Better in Him and of Him than without Him.

I meant a "conclusion" that CHS isn't getting the help he needs. I wasn't referring to the message about the phone call which was in the form of a question.

I hope and pray that CHS is getting help for anything he needs. We don't know what mental or physical state he is in. We do know that he probably did not have any true close friends and he alienated himself from one to one closeness with those "under him". It's "lonely at the top".

We also know that as a man sows, he shall reap. Even though we don't rejoice in his sufferings, we can't help but notice how much suffering he caused others through the years in his "ministries".

Like Job, "the thing he feared the most has come upon him". What he most likely feared the most over the years is people "going against him". He sure has that now. I'm sure all of the leaders at GG restrict his access to the "flock". He must be in so much spiritual pain, no pill or drink can cure him. Only Godly sorrow which leads to repentance.

When the fiasco in Lenox took place,he came to Framingham Mass.and had the congregation sign a document of loyalty stating that they would never go against him.

Look's to me like your statement about the feared thing has come to pass.
I hope the Lord does deal with him and turn him to the path he needs to take.
