Well for starters, they didn't approach the pastor/leity thing this way:

''You will be for me a kingdom of priests'' - Exodus 19:6.

The highest vocation for which God has destined man has not changed through the centuries. When He was preparing a peculiar people to be His agent of world redemption, He told Moses that the true sign that He had sent him to rescue them from Egypt would be what He would say to them when they reached Mount Horeb. Evidently, therefore, the important point would be His commission to them. That would be the way they were to serve Him in the future. And what did He say to them? He reminded them of the way He had delivered them from their oppressors and brought them to Himself ''on eagles' wings,'' to be His peculiar treasure (although His eye and heart were really on all peoples, for ''all the earth is Mine''), and that His purpose was for them to be a ''kingdom of priests'' (Exodus 19:46).

Priests are not priests for their own benefit, but for others. Thus if the whole of Israel was to be a kingdom of priests, it could only have been as intercessors for a lost world. It was for that reason, doubtless, that when God gave them this calling He added the words, ''for all the earth is Mine.'' Not a specially selected number to be priests among them, but all to be priests. That is of great significance. And not only priests, but ''a kingdom of priests,'' called by Peter, when applying this statement to the church, ''a royal priesthood.''

Kinda makes us ALL special, huh, and not just a chosen few? Kinda makes us ALL accountable.....Kinda makes us ALL annointed....this alone shows how backwards and satan-like that organization has turned out to be. Denying the Truth for your own power....very sad....

Hey, if they actually followed the spirit of believer-priesthood they wouldn't get to stand up there in the pulpit so arrogant and stout, and spout some "reamers" at everyone!

Head knowledge puffs up. Carl Stevens read the Bible, got his own interpretations of the Scriptures, got very proud, got very arrogant, and sought to build a cult kingdom built around his own ideas and himself. Carl built his own religeon as a twist on evangelical Christianity. He taught that only himself and his closest pastor/teacher followers had enough wisdom to think and demanded that everyone else blindly trust and follow them. Carl anointed himself and proclaimed himself as the modern day apostle of truth and preached that following Christ was following Carl. Follow Carl and you're a good on fire Christian. Don't follow Carl and you're evil and off. Of course that's because Carl is God's perfect spokesman and apostle. What a heap of bull!!!!

Instead of having the humility to admit imperfections and seek God for improvement, Carl thinks he's already there and everyone else needs to follow Carl to reach perfection. Instead of following God, Carl is following nobody but himself. Carl demands to take the place of Christ in peoples' loyalties. He wants to be their intermediary between them and Christ since only Carl and his inner circle have the wisdom to seek Christ directly for truth and direction. People are directed to send worship to Carl instead of Christ. Peoples' personal decisions have to go through Carl or one of his appointed pastor/teachers. No room exists for people to seek God directly in these matters. That's for God's special tiny little man. Basically what's left is a whole subculture built by an arrogant tiny little old man, to serve him and exalt him cloaked as evangelical Christianity to draw in more and more unsuspecting people to exploit.
