Many people have said that there will be no news story. Well even after some good threats and implied threats, and even worse I am sure there will be a few stories.

I decided to change my post before I got to far into this. People often say what about convictions? does this really say anything new? etc. How many Catholic Priest went away to jail out of the some 2000 indentified molestors as a result of the investigation who were identified. 5-10? But did the newspaper articles have an any affects on the Catholic Church? Did money giving and membership stay same after the stories started appearing?

When I first contacted the Baltimore Sun I wondered what the outcome would be. Now that we are close to another article coming out I am wondering the same thing.

The difference is what is said in this story. I have only some clues but my guess is it could be more damaging in words than any other article since the days of TBS.

I think the same could be true for many more newspaper stories. Maybe tv as well. Think I am kidding, send me the name of your local GGWO congregation and local newspaper. I see what I can do.

But I wonder what other people think?

I do think the ripple results from the Baltimore Sun article were incredible including what happened with Sandy Cove and dissafiliation.

I see something eventually happening to many of those who have lived in this nightmare. I see them having a voice now. Not like before. And I don't mean those who post here because they get some kick out of posting. I mean those who are really hurt and tired of seeing more people hurt, especially the kids.

At some point you wonder whose on which side. Like those who seem to be unhappy they didn't do something and now are mad others did. I could go back to 2001 in my own life and wonder why other people didn't understand how dangerous and bad this experiance was.

I can remember people including my own family wondering why I would question such a good church. Now I think we will see people wondering how they could not see that all this smoke was from a real fire and people were burning, not just some bad joke books or worse tv's playing soaps.Count some suicides, divorces, and a lot of pain.

What is this shocking? Myself and a ton of other people have been working to get this to happen on several fronts including in Baltimore, New England and Delaware. There are several newspapers investigating the GGWO churches.

There reporter and editor have made every attempt to be fair as well. My understanding is that there a lot of attempts to get a few news media in tv to become involved as of late.

I am hopeful we can do more after this one.

This should be the start of interesting ride.

Another news story isn't going to do much good. Whoopee. There have been many already, and a lot of the time they just draw out the curious. The articles are just "informative", presenting this and that side of the story.
Again I will say, will this result in any confessed accountability or prosecutions?

I dont really care about prosecutions and I am not o sure most people here do. I love for an outcome where people all over see what GGWO is. Before the Catholic church crisis it was a joke when people talked about pedophilia in the church, now people do think it is pathetically common in the church.

Look if the story was even somewhat like the last it be one thing but what if said something like the former members are making allegation of sexual molestation think that would get some ears up? I bet it will.

Tywint your one of those people if you had documentation on the Nazi s you be saying hey only a few of these guys went to jail and the court was a monkey court anyway so they must have been pretty good guys. Forget the evidence against them.

Well just based on GGWO website I say the media attention, the Sandy Cove meeting, and the rest has not bee so great for GGWO. If you dont think so, than dont post because posting here will not do any good.

I think I am more interested in keeing people away from these branch ministries by spreading the truth about this cult. The confessed accountability cannot come from newspaper articles, they must be generated in the heart by the Holy Spirit in the hearts of the guilty. Prosecutions, as you may already know, are especially difficult when dealing with cults because they are secretive, experts at a$$ covering and someone has to slip up or someone must come forward with proof for the law enforcement agencies to become involved.

Having said that, I am aware that law enforcement is more than interested to aquire any proof they can get to prosecute.

If anyone reading this knows of any proof....ANY PROOF at all of wrong doing that can assist law enforcement in prosecuting leaders and/or members of GGWO please come forward. Please.
