The use of the term 'temple' in 1Cor3 and 1Cor6 are not used in identical ways. In the first instance Paul speaks of the congregation while in the second the physical body of the believer is the reference.

Acts 2:36 in the KJV reads:

Did God the Father [i.e. "Yahweh"] only make Jesus "Lord" at his [e.g. Jesus's] resurrection from the dead?

Jesus was already Yahweh's "prophecized Messiah" [e.g. Christ] when he was dying on the cross.

For all you whining about boredom; let me state the obvious..those who have left GG have been led by God out of bondage; FN played a part in this. It appears that the mass exodus has already culminated. So what. Do you realize how insanely loyal those who stay are? Those who stay the "GG faithful" are rewarded by the leadership for their blind loyalty and have a new and better seat at the table and a reserved parking space closer to the reconfigured shopping mall minus all the fun of CHS.

The new regime will do all it can to enlist, recruit and build their infrastructure. Probably about another ten years from now they will have another exodus as a whole new crowd of duped individuals will have the Gospel light shine on the dark world of Schaller, Love and Schibelli. But, the beat of their drum will continue, thoug hopefully the noise is weaker.

So, what purpose does FN have? That is for each of us to decide. Evil men will always pervert the truth for their selfish ends. Until Christ returns and judges in righteousness we can warn those who would be drawn to GG. After all, we have first hand experience and knowledge. And, every once in awhile, those like Jim B. will excrete their dribble on this site and those who have left will be reminded to thank the LORD again for exposing the errors of what we once so proudly belonged to.

Factnet has been a wonderful outlet for many. Do you think thoes who remain, are thoes who will always remain?
I don't think an overload of Bible discourse is the way to go.Buckley proved that. I don't get up every morning thinking about Yahwah, or the bema seat. We are occupied with Jesus and our individual walk with Him. That is what is important. His evidence in our lives is what is important.

Oh thank God, literally, and I thought I was the only one who was getting mental overload with these threads, its like a Stan Ashby class when you missed the first sentence. I'm with you lana - if you can't see the Saviour's love in the eyes of the one you're talking to you need to share that. Somehow it breaks down even the intellectuals. I for one would never go back to TBS or GG, however, they did lead me to the Lord. We've just grown beyond their teachings.

All I can say is that so many are left shipwrecked that for them to dialogue around these issues must be important. Jim B. is the best evidence to those who are considering joining GG or the outfit w/Knapp and company. Also, he reminds me how deeply indoctrinated I once was in the extremism of dispensational higher life, esoteric, mystic,pietistic drivel. Yes, I have a simplicity in Christ that Jim B. does not see or enjoy. He is like a M-60 machine gun with an overheated run-away barrel and resulting in a jam. I pray for the day that he breaks the links, puts the weapon on safe, opens the feedtray cover of his mind and clears the jam...

Isabella, I have two sisters and their families deeply embedded in the cult. I have a brother here who is infected with the cult even though he has been gone from it for years.
They all Still think they are right on and everyone is off, even though they don't say it. They are never relaxed and real. They are hiding their real selves and put up with others in their loftly positions. Its sad to witness this, but don't dare to say anything to them. Only God can break this amazing hold on them.
I know what this "hold" is. I was there for 10 years, and years getting free of it. Buckley is a glaring example.

I, too, went into the 'Bible Speaks', not knowing what they were about.

The hold for me was the people...I was and still am a sucker for people. I'm not ashamed of that.

I do get taken, but it doesn't bother me because I know what I believe and I'm going to stick to it.

The people (including your relatives) who are still in there are doing exactly what they want to do.

Yes, it is very sad for you, but not for them. They have given their minds, their souls and their lives to belong to the <font size="-2">'Ministry'.</font> That's what they want to do more than anything else....

Give it up...they are your flesh and blood, but they are not your responsibility.

You have said it yourself, Lana. God can break the hold on them, just as He has given you the freedom to walk away.
