OK, so after seeing this photo from a 1979 graduation class of MBC&S (http://www.mbcs.edu/college/index.php?module=ContentExpress&func=display&ceid= 147&meid=)
I just had to post to tell you people that those of us who graduated from a GG school (of any sort) in the last decade or so certainly looked better than these folks did.... not THAT much better, mind you, but better nonetheless. I'm figuring that at least some of these folks pictured above post here from time to time, and that might redeem their asses a bit... LOL
and no, I won't be posting any of my school photos.

You're right Jim. After I posted that I took a look down memory lane and realized that no, we did not look any better than you folks did, not in the least. In fact, considering the uniforms we had to wear, you folks would easily win the beauty contest.... My God, I can still remember the joy when I graduated and realized that I would never be compelled to wear that particular combination of polyester accoutrements again... I then grew my hair out just for the sheer joy of it (the whole "above the ear, above the collar" thing never set well with me anyway).

I'd send you a picture of the new improved me, but I don't want to be a bobblehead just yet OTP! I have a great picture of me and Drago standing in front of a freshly killed dinosaur at the St. Louis Science museum--you'd have a blast in your brilliance with that one.

haha, well, we've abstained from dropping cockatrice eggs against those we appreciate - at least not publicly... shat made this awesome bobblehead gif of a certain foreign pastor both he and I know and love, and it was absolutely classic, though not appropriate for public viewing.
speaking of photos, anyone who's got interesting pictures of any of the Stevens, Schaller, etc, etc et al and who wouldn't mind donating them to the liquidwaves cause please email them to us here: liquidwavesoflove@yahoo.com
(as it's been years since we've had access to the "official" photographers of any GG affiliate, our supply of pictures is quite low)
and don't forget to check out the latest at http://liquidwaves.blogspot.com (there's an interesting version of Lewdass up there now)
thanks, OTP

That's a lil inside joke with Shat and I...
It's a man who worked for one of the affiliates well over a decade ago... we don't want to name him. The quote is verbatim - and was spoken to a senior pastor when that pastor didn't like the direction of the work this man was heading up.
Ah, the good ol' days.

It's all fun and games until someone becomes a bobblehead. OTP & Cockatrice, you need to make a living in satire, you are hilarious.

OTP knows that it was I who pushed for the long hair, i remember many-a-time where the teachers would get on the horn to my mother bitching about how a few strands of hair nipped over the ears just a bit! between that and the christian rock back in the 80s they had to keep a watchfull eye over me! At least I didn’t go out and impregnate out of wedlock like a few of them did!

Shat, I remember when my son Mike Byrne and Garrett Stevens got kicked out for three days. They left a little message on the school pc for their friend, Pete Ellis and got caught. I actually was quite proud as Mike used medically correct terminology. During their three days suspension, Mike shaved Garrett's head. They returned to school only to get kicked out again. Long hair, no hair, dyed hair all a no-no.. how ironic for a school run by a man in a dyed wig!

well, subjective dynasheric constipation coupled with cosmic loneliness could lead to overthinking and eventually have fatal consequences.

Here is a link where you can see the beautiful Taasjarvi Course Center in Finland, where Thomas and Lisa and their group started their Bible School. The only thing I remember of their emphasis was because we Christians are redeemed by the Blood of Christ, there is no condemnation, ever and that God has unconditional love towards us. But later I think, when I read all these feedback on these pages, that they have totally forgot this term unconditional love... but here is Taasjarvi with its beautiful lakeside.
