I just want to clarify something here. The things I've posted here about spiritual abuse from the past are not posted in anger at Carl Stevens or others; even though that abuse has caused massive damage to people I dearly love and want to see fully restored (not to GGWO). I believe this organization and its leadership have been used partly by God and partly by the other kingdom. I am grateful for much of what I was taught, and I still live in the utilization of those truths. I met and lived with some really outstanding, loving individuals along the way. They are part of my eternal existence, and I still love them. It grieves me to hear that Bobby O said that he and Marty O'Brien are now atheists. It grieves me to hear that the messages Stevens speaks don't have any anointing. Is God big enough to turn this around? I don't particularly care if it's labeled a cult or not. I want the Lord to reign. I want His highest ends for each of these people. I am not vindictive at all. I take no pleasure in the 'high' falling. I don't care who's had affairs. It has been said somewhere that Brother Andrews' ministry started praying years before it happened for the fall of the Soviet Union. Can we not now seriously pray for God's order in this part of His house? Love, Bob

My 2 cents..Take it..Leave it..Whatever..Just read it..Open your eyes:
There are a few things I would like to say here, first let’s face the real fact no church will ever be perfect…why? Because we are all human and sinners, so to hear all of this has been happening in ggwo is no surprise to me, sin has been around forever and will never end till the world does, some here have had horrible experiences, it is very heart breaking. If this helps you get through the pain then I’m glad, people should not fear man or a church and should be able to have the freedom of speech for no man is a judge only Jesus is. So for anyone claiming to be a “Christian” then I think you really need to take a look in the mirror before you slap judgment on people that just want to share their experiences. I used to go to ggwo not willing of course but I was told by my mother I had to, I also attended ggca, bad experience you ask? Yes it was, would I ever put my own child through their system? Not in a million years. If you or anyone you know is being molested by a member of ggwo or ggca then you really need to ask yourself a very important question here, is my child or any child more important then a church or the fear of men? I would hope your answer would be yes, I just have to say god help the person that would ever dream of touching my little girl. abuse and molestation goes on everyday and in nearly every school, home, etc. the problem is if you don’t step up to the plate and open the greatest gift god gave us which is our mouth then nothing will be done and all you are doing is enabling the molesters of this world they need to be brought to justice, I don’t want to hear give them grace and yada yada you sin you pay the price go to jail!! Period no it’s and’s or butt’s about it, if they choose to repent to Jesus then great but I still feel that they should be punished for what they have done, so my point is this and is clear, DON’T BE A COWARD ALL YOUR LIFE PROTECT OUR CHILDREN!!!! Because if you don’t you are part of it and you will remain an ENABLER! All your life and that is something you will have to live with forever.
As for ggwo you don’t need to be fearful of leaving, Jesus is always with you and you can have fellowship in your home there is nothing wrong with that.
I for one do not follow a man I follow Christ. This has been my 2 cents.
God, grant me the Serenity
to accept the things I cannot change
Courage to change the things I can
and wisdom to know the difference

at first glance I thought you were a quack.
I was determined to read what you said and
hear you out,
and am glad I did.
Besides you exhortation to get out
of GGWO, it sounds as if you know a lot more
personaly than what you have said above.
What is it? Are you at liberty to be more specific with some names?

As Jesus hung on the cross, He asked the Father to forgive. Forgiveness does not mean that you tolerate further abuse, or that others should not be warned. Paul warned about many individuals that he specifically named. We should not allow accusations of slander to keep us from warning others and helping those who've been damaged along the way. But personally, we need to forgive as we have been forgiven. That is a necessary point in the trail to your own healing, and to your ability to help bring healing to others. Bob

I understand the spirit with which you have written about forgiveness, Bob and I know it comes straight from your beautiful walk with God.There are many who have gotten past the spiritual injuries perpetrated by GGWO and are at a place where forgiveness is the next step in their healing process.
But I have used the word "process" purposly. There are many phases of healing, like a progression that people seem to go through when they discover the problems with GGWO and other harmful organizations. For some it takes a long time to get to the place where they can appreciate beauty for ashes...grief, anger, betrayal...these are the things one must needs endure and pass through before forgiveness.
You seem to have done your healing and for that I am gld because your voice here and in God's Kindom of the Spirit Within is crucial to other's growth in and toward forgiveness.
If you meet resistance to your forgiveness message, tis only because the brothers and sisters who are still writhing with pain, anger, bewilderment, grief and betrayal cannot yet understand it.
But in time they will for God is faithful to heal and restore them thanks to people like you.
Bless you
Roberta

Thank you, Roberta. We each take the steps we have grace for; and until we have that grace, it would only be self effort. The grace is the Spirit kicking in to bring us beyond our own means. I'm a patient person, but my focus is on the Lord's ends. I want us all healthy and at peace with who we are in Him. Love, Bob

The Great Artist's chisel!
(from Spurgeon's "The Tender Pity of the Lord" #941)
Jesus taught the disciples humility by His humility.
He taught them gentleness by His gentleness.
He did not point out their defects in words.
He did not dwell upon their errors, but He
rather let them see their own spots by His
purity, their own defects by His perfection.
Oh, the marvelous tenderness of Christ, who
so paternally pitied those who feared Him!
Remember that your brethren and sisters in Christ,
with whom you find so much fault, are God's elect.
And if He chose them, why do you reject them?
They are bought with Christ's blood, and if He thought
them worth so much, why do you think so little of them?
Recollect, too, that with all their badness there are
some good points in them in which they excel you.
They do not know so much, but perhaps they act better than you.
It may be that they are more faulty in pride,
but perhaps they excel you in generosity.
Or if perhaps one man is a little quick in
temper, yet he is more zealous than you.
Look at the bright side of your brother, and
the black side of yourself, instead of reversing
the order as many do.
The drift of this lesson is this; as your heavenly
Father has pity on you, have pity on one another.
Jesus, the Compassionate One, covers
our sins with the mantle of His love!
Be as tender towards those who sin as the Master was.
He remembers that we are dust; remember this of others.
I will not find fault with you, my friend, if I can
help it, because you will be one day without fault
before the throne of God!
If God will so soon remove your faults,
why should I take note of them?
I will not peevishly complain of the 'rough stone'; for
I see it is under the Great Artist's chisel, and I will
tarry till I see the beauty which He brings out of it.

I do not reject my brothers and sisters in Christ; even those who have made a life habit of abuse. However; I want to see God's highest ends for them. You don't avoid correcting a child because you're afraid of hurting his feelings. You correct him or her to bring them toward all that they can be in Christ. It's not okay for any of us to live in sin, whether we are pastors or apostles or whatever. Position is not permission. Bob
