Is it true that Pastor Paul hasn't been going to GGWO in Balmer?
I heard he is just about to slip out before the FEDS show up...

I thought that it was Pastors M.O to use people in the manner of a scapegoat until he couldn't any longer.
Maybe it took a long time to get to Paul.
I guess Steve offered him the chance of a lifetime.

Let's play a stupid game to test your knowledge of the "Stevens' boys" preaching styles..one of these answers will not be a "Stevens" though they are definitely a "wanna be"...
Here we go:
A. Fake crying accompanied by pointless basketball stories and living vicariously in the past with an occasional torturous and out of tune hymn sung by me; who am I?
B. Emotional brow beating and berating of others from the pulpit, adulterous, unanointed worship leader whose prayers are offered with eyeballs wide-open; who am I?
C. "Around and around and over and under and through" is an example of this "Stevens' style"; who am I?
D. Use of pompous and lengthy pontificating will employing the use of a pedantic vocabulary to test people's ability to yawn through their nostrils; who am I?

OK here goes.
A is Steve
B is Paul
C and D can only be Pastor Stevens
How close am I ?

Good job on A, B, and C...
"D" however is the "infamous" P. Marr!

Yawn through your nostrils!!!! Funny!
I am laughing because at one ABD class, back when they used to be at 8:30 am, I guess a lot of us were yawning, because P. Stevens yelled from the pulpit, "AND ALL OF YOU YAWNING OUT THERE...." (I was in the middle of a yawn when he screamed and nearly bit my tongue off LOL) My goodness, we were just tired after being up half the night studying for classes, going on outreach, raps, dorm meetings, and all that other stuff. We were just exhausted! But he told us that we were "spiritually brain dead." I remember him saying that if you yawn during the preaching of God's word you are spiritally brain dead.
So I, too, learned to yawn through my nostrils.

Sorry "Pastor" have to disagree with you on this one; the "spriritually brain dead" are the Hadley's and anyone else who chooses consciously and subconsciously to be loyal to your perverse teachings and subversive ways of handling things!

You Said:
A. Fake crying accompanied by pointless basketball stories and living vicariously in the past
This belongs on Grace Hour bloopers. In fact I'm going to post it because I heard the fake crying on Mondays broadcast and forgot to mention it then.
The correct terminology (according to Carl) is "Devine Brokenness" and it has been taught by Carl (addressed to wanna-be pastors) that any pastor worth their salt should, in a moments notice, be able to "feel" and outwardly express the emotion of brokenness. Some are better at doing this than others.
When it is real, it may be a valid expression that conveys something that words don't to the listener, however, when used as a "tool" of preaching, its as fake as a three dollar bill.
The basketball thing is another issue along with the Red Sox’s commentary so often heard on Grace Hour. But the Stevens boys will be boys. Basketball and baseball is a tradition that goes way back to Lenox.
The preoccupation with the past, as in "war stories", is ”filler" that is used when there is nothing left as real and meaningful content to say and express. It is the Stevens boys’ way of adding "weight" to the argument that they have "it" and Carl's brand of Christianity "is it" and no one could argue with that... could they?
When the heat is on - they start cooking their favorite recipe - fried dumplings!

OK I still hear conflicting tales...
Isn't Pastor Paul pretty much sticking to his own camp now.
I heard he is doing really good at his new church. That there are a bunch of people for a new church and that many are now begining to see the light of what is really going on and what may happen soon with them throwing Paul completely out of Grace Hour and similiar functions at the Baltimore church.
I am surprised Paul hasn't left yet.
Now that the rumors of the FBI are back in the light maybe he may think twice about sticking around.

Why would anyone in their right mind follow Paul Stevens ANYWHERE? Read the account written by Alan Lang...it's a frightening commentary of the "character" of this little boy who calls himself "Pastor Paul."
Please, PLEASE reconsider your decision to join P. Paul's "church".I am aware of the use of scriptural twisting. This common GGWO practice makes "truth" VERY murky indeed. Please follow Jesus and know that you are still His; even if you are not "considered" to be in the "geographical will" of God. [Which is yet ANOTHER example GGWO manipulation!]
How dare these charlatan's steal your time and finances!
A quote of my grandma's describes this scenario best:
"Spit in my eye once, shame on you
Spit in my eye twice, shame on me!"
STOP - LOOK - LISTEN!

What rumors are these? I think I missed this one.
