I ask Dear Lord that you prevail for those wounded by evil manipulating men. I pray that "The Great Purge of 2004" reveals to all Christians the wickedness of Carl Stevens.

You are definitely off for refering to believers as demons, no matter if you agree with them or not.

Dearest Lord, I ask You to reign on this board today; to reveal the truth in love; to expose the designs and plans of Your enemy, and his influences. Please give us light and accuracy. Protect us from misinformation and improperly applied scriptures. Knit us together in the places it pleases You to. Bring oneness and proper order to Your House, God. Teach us how to walk in the light, how to properly respond to your Spirit in the details of our ways. Thank You for Your great mercy toward us. Amen.

"ALMIGHTY and most merciful Father; We have erred, and strayed from thy ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against thy holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done; And we have done those things which we ought not to have done; And there is no health in us. But thou, O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable offenders. Spare thou those, O God, who confess their faults. Restore thou those who are penitent; According to thy promises declared unto mankind In Christ Jesus our Lord. And grant, O most merciful Father, for his sake; That we may hereafter live a godly, righteous, and sober life, To the glory of thy holy Name. Amen."
The Collect for the Second Sunday in Advent:
BLESSED Lord, who hast caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning; Grant that we may in such wise hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them, that by patience and comfort of thy holy Word, we may embrace, and ever hold fast, the blessed hope of everlasting life, which thou hast given us in our Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

Bob,
I find so interesting you used this here.
I am a big fan of BCP.
I actually had a discussion with Elders from GGWO why in many churches this prayer can be said every couple of weeks on a Sunday and its hard to communicate the same thing from anybody at GGWO.
It is very frustrating.
Darn Good Reading.

Found this today -
Lord, you upheld Your servant Irenaeus with strength to maintain the truth against every blast of vain doctrine: Keep us, we pray, steadfast in true religion, that in constancy and peace we may walk in the way that leads to life eternal. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus,
I pray for the following pre-posting on another thread, because it does speak the truth of what is really going on around here, whether people like to think this way or not.
Thank God someone has discernment around here!!
Now, Lord, its your turn to overtake this forum once and for all...deliver the aforementioned demon influenced people as mentioned above, and deliver those aforementioned people above that aren't demons but are in need of a true touch from you.
We pray for this forum, that you will smite them that are wicked and hateful here with no desire at all to repent for their ungodly posts, and that you will bless those who truly desire to be healed and are seeking after you.
Continue to bless and uphold our dear Pastor, Carl Stevens and bless him far above what I could ever ask or think, obviuosly with so many people judging him, even if he was wrong, Lord, nothing will come of this because of the sincere sheer wickedness of those who raise the rod in judgement against him here on this earth.
And, God...continue to bless those bold enough to go after those wicked ones that post here....you know who they are as well as they know themselves each time they click the "post this message."
Also, Lord...please teach Roberta the truth in your word that there ARE NO WOMEN PASTORS in the kingdom of God, and that many of her posts contradict someone who would have that office to begin with. Her tongue at times is laced with vinegar that the honey of your essence runs the other way from...and, Lord, that other wicked woman who posts offering to pay for things to further promote anger and hostility towards GGWO the church I love so dearly.......
and, Lord...I pray for Sam Spade and his courage to post the following...for posting it he took a beating from the "regulars" who are suffering from irregularity of the tongue...as in diarrhea of the mouth....
most of all Lord, I pray for the elders at GGWO, if there is a need for accountability there, or for them to "get right" as they've been accused of, by "you know who" (the accuser of the brethren's voicepieces on this forum)..then quicken those elders and turn this thing around for your glory...
And, Lord..I pray too for all whose characters have been slandered here on this forum to be healed...except, of course for those who just are wicked and deserving of your wrath...
Father reveal the source of the 600 post cards and help me to remember to repent constantly for wanting to kick their backsides for sending it out with poisonous venom there...
thank you Lord...for posters like D.A. and C.K...Loretta...SJ...Pastor Skip...Peter M...Maria T...Sam Spade...for they weren't afraid to stand up for convictions in their hearts...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The real problems, with GGWO as I see it are:
- lack of accountability in leadership
- lack of fiscal transparency and accountability
- over-emphasis on personality and not enough on Christ.
- mistreatment of dissenters and ex-members.
The problems I see with many who leave embittered are.
-unforgiveness, even after years of having left (Time does NOT heal, forgiveness does.)
- blaming others for your own decisions.
- blaming others for your own dysfuntionalism.
- desire for vengeance. they wil not be satisfied until GGWO is a pile of ashes.

Lord, I ask that You would lead us into the truth in all our ways. Set Your Spirit as a guard over our lips and fingers. Teach us those things that are needful and pertinent. Help us to boldly step out onto what You give us to say and do. Inhabit us, Lord. Make us free to wholly respond to You. Consider those who have been deceived. Give them Your light for their way. Please act quickly to release those who are oppressed. Please bring healing for the wounds. Allow us each to know Your paths for our days to come. Lift up Your countenance among us. Reveal Your glory. Show the world that we are Your House. Amen

"Almighty God, you have built your Church upon the
foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself
being the chief cornerstone: Grant us so to be joined together
in unity of spirit by their teaching, that we may be made a
holy temple acceptable to you; through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God,
for ever and ever. Amen."

Father, I ask you to have mercy on all of us who have posted on this message board. Please show us what You would have us do and say. Lord, give us what You consider to be proper respect toward one another; and help us to be motivated by Your love in our interactions with each other. Teach us the ways that are surrender to You. Thank You for grace and for Your Word and for each other believer. Love each one according to his or her need and design from You. Lift Jesus up among us. Amen.

Thanks for this day of laughter, contemplation, your grace and light. Thank you for the people in our lives who prompt us always to prove all things, to test the spirits...to walk humbly with you one step at a time. Thank you for the brave among us who seek truth in its unspoled state, thank you for the people who continue in tears and prayer for the children who are victims of the abuses of ungodly men who are preying upon the innocent. Thank you for your nearness in those darkest moments when we think all is lost and hope seems a dream we cannot dare dream any longer...thank you for believeing in your children, and understanding that we lack complete understanding of you. Thank you for bearing us.."I have made and I will bear" as you say in your word.
Carry us always, befriend the friendless among us who silently suffer, bring to the point of decision those who defile your grace by living the law and imposing it wrongly upon others, and lastly...
I ask that you destroy the cloud of forboding darkness that now hangs over GGWO. The eyes of your people have been blinded by men who lust for power. Lord...the hour has come. This I believe and my prayer is that this cloud be dissipated and that you make the blind see you again.
It is your will that all men come to know your grace...give them sight again? Make the preachers of lies be mute long enough for the people to hear you?
Thank you for hearing our prayers. Thank you for your grace whose flow is never halted, Wash me again and constantly in your beauty? Amen

Our Father
Who art in Heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name
Thy Kingdom come
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven
Give us the day
Our daily bread
And forgive us
As we forgive those who trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from the evil one
For Thine is the Kingdom
And the power
And the glory forever
AMEN

1: When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come; glorify thy Son that the Son may glorify thee,
2: since thou hast given him power over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him.
3: And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.
4: I glorified thee on earth, having accomplished the work which thou gavest me to do;
5: and now, Father, glorify thou me in thy own presence with the glory which I had with thee before the world was made.
6: "I have manifested thy name to the men whom thou gavest me out of the world; thine they were, and thou gavest them to me, and they have kept thy word.
7: Now they know that everything that thou hast given me is from thee;
8: for I have given them the words which thou gavest me, and they have received them and know in truth that I came from thee; and they have believed that thou didst send me.
9: I am praying for them; I am not praying for the world but for those whom thou hast given me, for they are thine;
10: all mine are thine, and thine are mine, and I am glorified in them.
11: And now I am no more in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name, which thou hast given me, that they may be one, even as we are one.
12: While I was with them, I kept them in thy name, which thou hast given me; I have guarded them, and none of them is lost but the son of perdition, that the scripture might be fulfilled.
13: But now I am coming to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
14: I have given them thy word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15: I do not pray that thou shouldst take them out of the world, but that thou shouldst keep them from the evil one.
16: They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17: Sanctify them in the truth; thy word is truth.
18: As thou didst send me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.
19: And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be consecrated in truth.
20: "I do not pray for these only, but also for those who believe in me through their word,
21: that they may all be one; even as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22: The glory which thou hast given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one,
23: I in them and thou in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that thou hast sent me and hast loved them even as thou hast loved me.
24: Father, I desire that they also, whom thou hast given me, may be with me where I am, to behold my glory which thou hast given me in thy love for me before the foundation of the world.
25: O righteous Father, the world has not known thee, but I have known thee; and these know that thou hast sent me.
26: I made known to them thy name, and I will make it known, that the love with which thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them."

As you mercies again are new this moning, Lord, I thank you for the new day knowing your plan for me lies ahead. With the rays of the sun approaching the horizon, I will see your heart for me in each moment of the day. I thank you that my lack of knowledge of the jot and titles of the Bible doesn't hold you back from giving all of who you are to me. I thank you for every breath I take though they be labored at present...for life is precious and I don't want to miss your touch in any of it., Thank you for the unseen work you are doing in me, and the knowing that you are working in hearts of men around the world, though we may see it not.
For those believers caught in a web of lies, we ask that you keep them safe and bring them out of the fires unharmed. For those who are so convinced of doctrines that they no longer impart you grace, we pray you give them an extra measure of grace today that they may be humbled by your love, for those on the battlefields, Lord, please kepp them comforted in thir fear, for they are a long way from home and need you so much, for those whom men have damaged using your Name we pray that the fruits of sin teach them you will not be mocked. And Lord I ask that my nephew Trevor whom I love like he were my own son...please keep him safe as he goes to the war? Oh God, he is so young and so beautiful, please keep his mother strong, and let no harm come to him? I know this is a selfish prayer but he believes in you and I love him so. I am afraid for him, Father. Help me to rest in you for him.
Once more I thank you for this new day and ask that you stay ever with me as I deal with the burden that teaches me faith in your mercy. Amen.
