Just saw this booklet for sale on the GGWO official site. I hate to spend one penny at GGWO, but it sounds like it should be interesting reading. I think Carl would have liked to title it "Let FACTnet Keep Silent".
Things must be heating up at homebase and the multitudes need some guidance from Carl to keep them in line. Can't have anyone doing any thinking, you know!
Here's a sample, capital letters are mine:
"In this booklet (taken from a message and a rap session between Pastor Stevens and Pastor Tom Schaller during a recent International Convention), you will see why, in an evil time, IT IS SO IMPORTANT FOR CHRISTIANS TO REFUSE TO STIR UP ISSUES. Our prayer is that these thoughts will help each reader to learn silent prudence so that we will see that behind every silent thought of God is the highest possible process of thinking."
So, sit down and shut up, FACTnet. So saith Carl.

Here's a pargraph from "Under God", another recent booklet:
"We live in a time when very few people understand what it means to live "under" someone. The slogan "Question authority" has become a rallying cry for many. Of course, we are not to be robotic in our submission, following blindly in whatever we do; however, bona fide leadership is something we should enjoy and not challenge."
Don't question, don't ask, don't think! Thus saith Carl!

It's the gift that's in you that gets stirred. Sean Connery has read his Hebrews, and knows the rest of the stuff is supposed to be shaken. The stuff that can't be shaken can be stirred. That is the way to true happiness.

I know part of this was already posted...I am just shocked that anyone would read this description and not see the huge red flag!!
Doctrine booklet:
Let the Prudent Keep Silent
Introduction
Talk, talk, talk, talk.
We live in the so-called information age. It seems as though everyone and his brother has a "talk" show on television or radio. Go onto the computer and you can chat away, all day and all night.
All of this talk and chatter has overwhelmed our society, and it has affected the church, often negatively. Christians go to meeting after meeting to discuss this program and that program, for this group and for that group. Yet, discussion settles so little, tending more to create confusion and to cloud our vision of what is really important in these days.
We live in an evil time. Satan is really at work to distort the Gospel message and to hinder the work of bona fide Bible-based ministries.
In this booklet (taken from a message and a rap session between Pastor Stevens and Pastor Tom Schaller during a recent International Convention), you will see why, in an evil time, it is so important for Christians to refuse to stir up issues. Our prayer is that these thoughts will help each reader to learn silent prudence so that we will see that behind every silent thought of God is the highest possible process of thinking.

Yeah, don't stir up issues.....you might learn something. Don't give credence to you own thought processes......you might be led elsewhere.
Don't question your Pastor......you might learn he's wrong.

You've got to admit, though, they're good, aren't they?
For years our own thinking was controlled. It wasn't that long ago that I would have believed every word of that booklet.
It is all so clear now. Thank God for eyes to see and the freedom to think.

It's so sad that there are actually people RIGHT THIS SECOND that are reading that booklet and saying to themselves or anyone that will listen, "wow, what an AWESOME and ANNOINTED message! I'd better keep my questions to myself, for to do otherwise would give power to Satan!"
It amazed me how obvious this is. GGWO under "attack"? Better print up a booklet to keep the people quiet.
God, please let it end!
