They say that it is a pity, the devil should have God's part, which is the tithe.

Thought it might be good to have a thread about foregoing tithing to GGWO to pressure church leaders to make changes.
Here are a couple of resources for giving to alternative organizations.
I used this site when I was researching GGWO. There's little here about GGWO and the affiliates, mostly that they are all 501(c)(3) organizations, but there's a lot of other information about nonprofit organizations, including churches. It's a good research tool. The registration is free and it allows you to read financial reports and 990s.

Also, this site is list of links about nonprofits. Some of the most helpful stuff is at the bottom of the page.

He said it to Pharisees who were still under the Law, and Paul never once brought it up. However, everything belongs to God; and tithing is spiritually reasonable. In particular, remember that tithing was not one of the things that Paul was commissioned by Jerusalem to pass on to the Gentiles. And stay away from those strangled animals.

Tithing is a doctrine Carl has taught badly, added guilt to and then the delegathed authority/pasto teacher stuff to, to get everyone rattled into believing they are not loving God if they don't do the 10% thing.
What you give or don't give to the church is between you and God and no one should manipulate anyone into doing anything.

If we consider Paul the author of Hebrews (which is not a given, but a maybe); he talks about Abraham tithing. He does not instruct the Hebrews to tithe. He does not give it as instruction or command to the Gentiles or the Hebrews. And the passage is not about tithing, but about Christ's priesthood; after the order of Melchizedek.
