There's about to be one less beautiful soul for Carl to beat down.

She's leaving.

Thank Merciful God, she's leaving. Thank God and each and every one of you who prayed for her and gave me so much moral support. Thank you Lord, for hearing those prayers.

All I can say at this time is that it was a very hard decision for my brave and beautiful friend to make. She told me tonight that she has finally seen how unbiblical the church has become. She has been reading Factnet (FACTNET ROCKS!!!!), so I can say firsthand that this board, or rather the wonderful people on it, are having an effect.

For those of you that are wondering, her faith in God has remained strong. It's her faith in liars that has changed drastically.

She also said that many have left. The number she mentioned was 700. More are planning to.

It's working or rather, God is WORKING!

I have to try to get some sleep tonight.

I love you all.

Boss Martian

I appreciate the power of love, but I also appreciate the power of the twopay. Take note of the most recent update on the Liquid Waves site...

I'm rejoicing with you Boss. I just sense the great beauty of God's touch being so personal for you and your friend. He has a lot of good things and people to bring out of the wreckage of GGWO. We should all be in prayer about His intentions for the days ahead.

That's great, Boss. A gentle caution: recovery is more than a single-step process.

Best wishes for you AND your friend,

Herc

Another prayer answered. I'm happy for you Boss and thankful that your friend has a friend that will be there for her.

Boss,

I am overjoyed at the news. But I do think Herc's caution is a good one. If you can help your friend find a loving church community where she has the space and support to process everything, that would be a good thing. When I first left the ministry, I was doing well. But it is when I landed in a legalistic church afterwards that things started to unravel for me.

God bless you both; I will keep praying.

Thanks everyone. Yes, it is only the first step of many. I am certain that more trying times lie ahead, but I am optimistic. I am in this for the long haul, good or bad. She's worth it.

I'm doing a lot of listening and just letting her know that I love her, wherever her post-GGWO life leads her. Thankfully, her faith in God has not been shaken. She isn't eager to jump into another church and I fully support that. I think that like some of you that have left, she is going to take some time to just be with God. My hope is that she will seek some counseling, but of course, that's entirely up to her.

In spite of her doubts, she has mentioned Paul's group as place that some of her friends have started attending. That choice is hers as well, but I am going to follow through with an attempt to interview Paul.

It is a beautiful day. Thanks God.

Boss, Hopefully your beautiful friend is going to church to learn about Jesus Christ and not to be with her friends. Keep praying for her buddy and thanks for your support for the mess many of we survivors have faced. It sounds like you're in love with this girl Boss! What a wonderful and cherishing husband you will make if this is true. Have a great day and thanks again for caring about us.

Boss, we welcome your friend to visit the Aberdeen church. We will show her the love of Christ as we do with anyone who attends. No bondage trip, no Pastor worship, just good old church.

Already been determined. If you knew how happy the people are, and how much fun we have together, you might be a little more positive.

Open invite to anyone who would like to attend, Sunday we are having a potluck after service.
